Listening to Niall
Chapter 13: Saturday is here
Saturday morning and I'm up and running at 7:00 AM with Harry.
Things are better now. Niall was furies with Harry for not telling him, but after a lot of explaining and sticking up for him Niall came around.
The whole week Eleanor and Niall made sure I was eating right and drinking. Since I didn't want to give up running, Harry was asked to keep running with me in the mornings, to make sure I was ok. I felt like my friends were babying me, but running made me feel better, and made my mind so much sharper during the day, that I let it go.
I am keeping up with Harry better and better every day. I can tell that he isn't slowing down as much for me as in the beginning of the week.
"How are you feeling today? Better?" Harry asked me as we were heading back to campus.
"Much better, Niall did a good job" I said opening my water bottle so I could take a sip.
The last few days Niall had to massage my legs and arms since they were extremely tight from all of the running I've been doing. Harry showed me some stretches I should do before and after running and I'm getting better.
The other boys are happy because since I started running we haven't been late for classes in the mornings.
"So you guys are coming to the party tonight?" Harry took my battle from me so he can drink as well.
"I think that’s the plan, where is it?"
"It's at that club right off 5th street" He pointed to the direction it was from where we were walking.
"Niall probably knows where it is" I smile
"Right, you can't find your way around ever" Harry remembered
"True" I say.
We continue walking silently for a while.
"You know Harry, I really appreciate everything you have done for me" I say looking up at him.
"It's fine really. Don't worry about it" He smiled
"No, really. I really do. You didn't have to do this and you did and I'm thankful"
"Did it ever cross your mind that I wanted to? Maybe I'm doing this for me?" He said looking down at me from the corner of his eye.
"Well… no, but I'm still thankful" I say
"My pleasure"
I take a long hot shower. Eleanor is still sleeping. I put on some clothes and go make myself a cup of coffee.
I sit on the couch flipping through channels to find something good to watch. It's 9 aclock by the time I decide there is nothing good to watch, so I try my luck with Niall.
"Hey" He answers sleepily
"Oh darling I woke you. Go back to sleep call me later" I say feeling bad.
"No. no I'm up. Good morning" He says sounding just as sleepy
"Come on, you can sleep late today. Go back to sleep" I try
"What are you doing? Come over" He stretches
"Fine" I say, happy he isn't listening to me.
"I'm getting into the shower so I'll leave the door unlocked so just come in"
"Fine, I'll be there soon" I smile.
I leave a note for Eleanor telling her I'm by the lads, and she should call when she wakes up.
I make my way to the boy's dorm building, then change my mind and walk over to the shop.
I better get a few things for breakfast since they probably have an empty fridge.
By the time I finally get to their flat, Niall is out of the shower and Louis and Liam are playing pro on the Xbox.
"Hello boys" I say walking in
"Oh Niall she bought food!" Liam sang as he saw the bags in my hands
"Wow I like her even more now! She's for keeps" Louis says with his eye glued to the screen
"So that’s why it took you so long" Niall came over to kiss me
"Why isn't El with you?" Louis asked
"Still sleeping, but I left her a note telling her where I am" I say making a mocking face.
"If you have your phone with you, you don't need to leave a note" Liam said
"Thanks for making that clear" I say putting everything down on the counter
"Here, drink some orange juice" Niall hands me a cup.
"Thanks" I say "So Harry asked if we're going to the party today"
"Yeah, we are. It'll be fun" Louis said.
"Ok so I think I'll go to the work shop to get some projects out of the way" I say
"Not before you eat" Niall says and sits me down on the chair behind me.
"Fine. I'll eat you pest" I say, which makes the other boys laugh.
After eating some scrambled eggs and salad I head out to the work shop.
There are a few of my classmates there.
"Hi Rachel" I say sitting next to her
"Hi Jamie! What's up?" She smiles
"I'm good, came to get some work done"
"Yes, hope you succeed more than me" She says looking down on her project
"What are you working on?"
"Well I'm trying to make that stand for Mr. Sean but I just can't get this to do what I want"
"Well get some more water for the clay. It'll work better that way" I say
She adds some more water and smiles "Sit and work next to me you give me good luck" She laughs
"Let me get my things" I say, walking over to my locker.
I sit next to Rachel and start on my project for Mr. Sean. I'm making cups for disabled people so it is easier for them to hold.
Lea joins us at some point and we are all working and talking about the last week.
"Hi girls" I don't need to look up to know its Ariel. I've kept my distance from her this past week. She sits down at our table. Rachel and Lea look at me, they too don't like Ariel.
"So you've been really close to Harry this week. What does your boyfriend think about it?" She asks me.
"Harry the trainer?" Lea looks at me
"Yeah I'm training with him" I say looking at my project. I wish Ariel will disappear.
"Taking care of your weight then?" Ariel smirks
"Use your eyes Ariel, Jamie doesn’t need to take care of her weight she looks better then all of us" Rachel said angrily
"Touchy" Ariel got up and left.
"Bitch" I say under my breath
"She is" Lea says looking at Ariel's back
"Whatever, so how is it training with Harry? I wanted to train with him too but he was full. You are so lucky he has time for you" Rachel looks at me
"Tell me about it I was trying to get time with him, but it's a good thing I didn't since I'll spend all my time looking at that face of his" Lea laughed
"Well, He is really good friends with Niall so.." I say
"Lucky you" They say.
We continue working and talking about different things. Someone put on music and people were singing along as they worked.
"Hi Niall" Lea looked behind me.
"Ni?" I turn my head
"Hi babe" He leaned down to kiss my lips.
"Eleanor! You're finally up!" I say as she walked past Niall to kiss my cheek.
"What are you girls working on?" She asked looking at all the different things lying around the work place.
Rachel was showing her the projects we were doing.
"So don't you think it's about time for a break?" Niall says
"Sounds tempting" I smile
"Great so come on" He says
"No but I really need to finish up" I make a sad face
"How about you finish for today and tomorrow I'll come help you until you finish?"
"hhhaa.. Fineeee" I say getting up.
"Leaving?" Lea and Rachel asked
"Yeah but I'll see you guys tonight" I smile and collect my things.
"Bye guys" I wave to them and Eleanor Niall and I walk out.
"We saw Ariel when we came in" El said
"So did I she sat next to us made her comments and left" I say
We go back to Niall's dorm room, where Liam and Louis are still playing pro, but this time Zayn's with them too.
"Hi Perrie" I say walking over to where she was getting lunch ready
"Good now you have some help" Zayn says to Perrie. That comment gets High fived by Louis and Liam.
"Boys will be boys" I tell her. Eleanor sits down and starts to pick at the salad.
"You don't want Perrie seeing you do that El" Niall whispers loud enough for us to hear.
"Go play with the boys" She pushed him away.
"So what should we wear today?" Perrie asked
"Whatever I guess why do they have a dress code?" I look at them.
"Wear something nice" Niall yells from across the room.
"Yeah something sexy" Louis adds
"Something we can show you off with" Zayn says.
"Now I feel like coming in trainers" I say.
"Liam what about Danielle? Is she coming too?" Perrie asked
"Oh didn't you hear? They broke up again" Niall said
"Again? What's up with you guys?" Eleanor asked
"So what are you wearing Jamie? Trainers?" Liam tried to change the subject
"I'll drop it if you will" I tell him
After we eat Zayn and Perrie leave to chill at their place before the party. We are all supposed to meet by them later.
Eleanor and Louis went out shopping, and Liam went to the gym with Harry.
"What do you feel like doing?" Niall asked
"Well I was thinking on having a nap" I say "Want to join?"
"Let's go to your place then" He says
"Come on then" I get up.
We walk arms linked to my flat.
I change and get under the covers.
"You really are planning on sleeping" Niall looks at me
"Get in pest" I hold the covers up.
Niall gets in and I snuggle up to him.
"Why did I come?" He said out loud
"Now I'll sleep better" I say
"How's that?"
"Because you’re here with me" I beam up at him
"Go to sleep" He pushed my head back.
I lay my head back and close my eyes.
