True love?

PEEP PEEP PEEP! 'Ugh, stupid alarm clock! Shut up, let me sleep!' 6.30 AM is way to early to wake up, but well, otherwise I would be to late at school. I got up and made myself ready to go to school. I made sure my hair and face wasn't a mess and ate some cereal. I heard the doorbell, who is awake at this time? Since my mom and dad were still asleep, I stopped eating and went to get the door. 'Hey.' Well, I didn't see that one coming. Louis Tomlinson was standing at my door! He was smiling and stood there nonchalantly like we were best friends and we knew each other for ages. Okay, I liked that guy, maybe even a little too much, but how could he be so cool with it? My nerves were all over my body! 'Hey, you want to come in? I still haven't finnished my breakfast.' He nodded and I let him into my house. He looked around him, following me to the living room, and whistled. 'Lovely house you got.' 'Thanks.' I started eating again while he began talking. 'Tessa, I have to ask you something. Can I borrow your workbooks and notes from geogarphy, history, French and Latin?' I nodded, not able to speak with my mouth full. Finally I finished my cereal and took my jacket. 'Are you ready to leave, Louis?' We left my house and started the 20 minutewalk. 'So, Tessa, tell me something about yourself. I feel like I only know you one day.' He winked at me and I melted inside. 'Haha, maybe because we actually know each other for only one day. Let me think... I'm a real nerd. I like reading a lot of books and I like to sing. I also like to parties, but if I had to choose between reading each night for the rest of my life or going partying each night for the rest for my life, I would definetly choose reading. I think there isn't anything more to say. I'm not an very interesting person.' He looked at me and smiled a big goofy smile. 'You're the most interesting person I have ever met, Tessa Kingston. I also like singing a lot, but I don't know where I stand with reading. I don't enjoy it as much as you do, but I don't dislike it either.' Well, that surprised me. 'You can sing? I have an idea: why don't we both sing something and give the other a score from 1 to 10. Something to kill the time. What do you think?' Again that goofy smile. 'I love it! I'll start. Are you ready?' His voice was incredible! He sang a song I didn't know but it was really beautifull! Listening him sing made my knees buckling and my whole body shaking. What the hell was wrong with me? After a few minutes he stopped singing and smiled. 'OMG, Louis! How beautifull! I....I'm shaking all over my body!' 'Thanks, Tessa. Now it's your turn.' 'Oh no, no, no! I'm not going to sing now! Not after you singing with such a voice. Another time maybe.' I saw he wanted to protest, but I put my hand out, signing him not to say anything more. We reached the school after walking a minute in silence and went inside.

'Attention, students.' Our teacher history said, 'This year the school will perform a musical at the end of this year and you're all invited to come do audition. I thought the musical is 'West Side Story'. Auditions are this friday in the auditorium. You're allowed to do audition alone or in groups of two.' Everyone in class started getting excited and started whispering. I turned to Louis. 'You're going to audition, you understand? You have no option, I'm making you do it.' I knew I was getting possessive, but his talent had to be discovered. 'Only if you're doing the audition with me.' 'But-' 'No, you're making me do audition so I'm going to make you do it with me, understood?' 'Yes, sir.' And that was that. 'We need to practise. At my place after school, we can do our homework together if you don't mind.' Louis was wispering because class had already started and I answered with an even quiet voice: 'Sure, I'll send a text to my mom to know if that's allright for her.' The rest of the day we were laughing and talking all the time. I got the confirmation of my mom and Louis let his parents know I was coming over. Louis was really awesome. He had a great sense of humor and made me laugh all the time, which made him laugh all the time. During the breaks Louis came standing with Elody, Lena and me. Those two asked him so many questions I felt bad for him. 'Come on guys, interrogation is over. Give the poor guy a few minutes to chill.' Elody had this crazy smile. 'I see...Poor guy, huh?' Lena also smiled and winked. Oh my God! Why did they already knew I liked Louis? And did they really have to act this way with Louis standing next to me, looking really confused? 'Is there some unsaid girltalk going on here that I don't understand?' Lena tapped on her cheek, saying I was really red. Sure, I guess that could add to all of this emberrassing stuff. 'Okay, that's enough! Elody, Lena, behave yourselfs!' They started laughing really hard and a few other people looked behind them, trying to find out what was so funny. Lena said laughing: 'You think she-?' Elody grabbed Lena's shoulder. 'Yep, she definetly is!' I stamped with my foot, grabbed without thinking about it Louis' hand and walked away. 'Oh, come on, Tessa! We were only joking!' I heard Elody shouting. 'What just happened?' Louis apparently still figured it out. A good-looking boy like him would surely notice a girl falling from him, wouldn't he? 'I'll tell you another time, okay? Can we just talk for a little while?' We talked about normal stuff. Which tv-shows and movies we loved. How much we liked our friends and the relationship we had with them. Louis talked about four boys, especially about a guy named Harry. 'They're coming to my house on Saturday. Do you want to come also? They came over yesterday and they want to meet you.' He talked about me with his friends? 'Sure. I would love that.' I was kind of curious about those four amazing boys.

Louis' house was amazing. It was a small house but his parents had taste. His bedroom was also not that big. It contained one double bed, a desk and a closet. He had blue walls with pictures from his family and friends. I was looking at all them when I noticed one girl appeared frequently. Ofcourse he had a girlfriend. 'Who's that?' I said. His smile immediatly faded and he started crying. He put his hands against his face and sat down on his bed. 'Oh my god, sorry Louis! I didn't want to ask something that would make you sad! If you want to talk about it to someone, you can always talk to me.' I sat down next to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked at me, still crying, and said: 'Thank you, Tessa, but I'm not ready yet to tell you. One day I will but I just can't, I-' He started sobbing really hard. 'Shhh, I'm here for you, Louis.' I hugged him and he hugged me back. I felt him crying on my shoulder and wondered what could make him so upset. After I while we laid down on the bed, with Louis resting against my shoulder and hugging each other. Louis never stopped crying. Not even for one minute. I was scared out of my mind. Louis was always so happy and made me laugh and seeing him like that made me feel sad. Extremely sad. 'Hey, Louis,' I said after a while. 'I love you. You're a great guy and according to me my best friend.' That was the first time he smiled again. 'I love you too, Tess' 'Tess, is that how you're calling me now?' He really smiled this time. 'Yep, I think it fits you.' And at that moment I knew Louis was going to be allright eventually.
