I was walking with Lena through the halls of our school. Lena was as usual the only one who walks around in her summer clothes in the middle of November. Her heels were clicking on the floor while we made our way through the crowd, trying to find our friend Elody. It was finally lunch time and I was starving. We walked to the lockers where I saw Elody standing. The moment she saw us her hand raised and she smiled at us. We walked a little faster and hugged her. "Hey girls! You know what? We have a newbie! He just arrived 5 minutes ago, his classes are starting afternoon." Elody never could keep her mouth for 2 seconds. If you wanted the school to know something, you had to tell it to Elody and in 10 minutes the whole school would know it. I smiled. "Is that true? And who is this newbie if I may ask?" I was wondering which kid would have the nerve to change school in the middle of a trimester. "He's standing over there. You see him? The ridiculously hot boy." I followed her finger and I made a weird noise. Damn, that boy was really hot. "What was that, Tessa?" "Huh? Oh shut the hell up, Lena. Are we going to eat or what?" We made our way to the cafeteria and chose a table right in the middle. I liked to see everyone around me. I took my lunch out of my bag, but before I started to eat, I stood up and went to get a coke. I flipped my change in the vending machine and took my coke. Drinking I walked back to my tabble, but I didn't even walk 3 meters when someone bumped in to me and I spilled the half of my coke over my blouse. "Oh God, I'm so sorry. I didn't see you. Are you okay?" I looked up and prepared to start shouting, but then saw the new hot boy standing in front of me, his face worried. "Ugh, yeah, no problem. Don't worry about it." I started walking to my friends but a hand on my shoulder stopped me. "Let me at least give you a new T-shirt, if you want. Come on, I have one in my locker." What? He had a spare T-shirt with him? "Uhm, okay?" I followed him and could feel the stares of my friends and probably the rest of the school on me. The boy opened his locker and picked a white T-shirt. "Here, I didn't know if I would have gym today so I packed an extra T-shirt. I'm Louis Tomlinson by the way." He had a beautiful face: he had blue eyes and brown hair. I smiled and said: "Thanks for the T-shirt, Louis. I'm Tessa Kingston. I'm going to change now if that's allright?" Louis smiled and said: "Yeah, sure. Nice to meet you. Tessa. I'll see you later I guess." He turned around and walked back to the cafeteria. I stared for a little while, then noticed I must've looked like an idiot and went to the girls' room. After 10 minutes or so, I sat at my table while Elody and Lena fired a whole army of questions at me. "Where did you go?" "What T-shirt are you wearing?" "Did you talk to the newbie?" I took a bite in my sandwich and started talking between eating.

After an hour, lunch was over and I went to my class. Lena, Elody and I were each in different classes. In our school you stay with the same group of students in each class and you have to choose one main subject which puts you in a specific class. I sad at a table and waited for class to begin. Suddenly Louis came stumbling in. "Hey, is this class 6.8?" When I nodded (ofcourse with my mouth wide open), he smiled and came to sit next to me. "Hey, you're Tessa, right? It seems like we're in the same class. That's at least one person I know." Okay, me sitting next to the hottest boy in school and he happens to not dislike me? Well, I could say that's a record. The teacher came in and started talking. "I see we have a new student in class? Come in front, boy and introduce yourself please." Louis got up and introduced himself. "Hey, everybody." he said nonchalantly. "I'm Louis Tomlinson and I'm 17. My familly and I recently moved and now I'm going to school here. I have one younger sister and for the ladies who want to know: I'm still single." He gave a big wink at me, smiled and sat down. "Well, thank you Louis. We'll start now with a new chapter-

School was over and I stood up to go home. "Hey, Tessa. Which way are you going?" "Uhm, I'm living next to the bakery." "Oh, that's my street too. Can I walk with you? I still don't know the way exactly." "Yeah sure." We walked several minutes in silence. The weather was really nice for November. Leaves were falling and they left colorful patterns behind. It was also pretty warm. Since I didn't know what to say, I just kept walking in silence while I felt my phone buzzing several times. Lena and Elody probably saw me leaving with Louis and wanted to know what's happening. But I would deal with them at home. Louis was walking with his hands in his pockets, looking down. I cleared my throat: "So, how was your first day at school? Did you made a lot of friends?" He stopped walking and looked me in the eyes. He shrugged. "I guess. Until now, you're the only person who talks to me." "How come?" "I don't know. I'm not a very social person. I was popular at my last school before-" He shook his head and started walking again. "Never mind." What was he going to say? I didn't get it. Eventually we reached our street. He had to go left and I had to go right. "Nice meeting you, Tessa. See you tomorrow." "Yeah, nice meeting you. Bye!" I waved one last time and went home.

I started laughing really hard. Elody had a very special way of texting, she just had to make me laugh each time. I texted them both back. Telling about the silent walk, but I didn't tell them anything about Louis' weird behavior. I had the feeling that Louis hadn't thought while he was speaking and it just slipped out. If he wanted me to know, I would find out some time. I began doing my homework and tried to forget Louis Tomlinson. Well, that went good. LOL, nope!
