Chapter 2
Francescas POV
I'd been dreading this day all summer, the first day at my new school. I'd always loved school, but somehow I didn't think I was going to love this one, I had no friends here yet and it was the only school in town which meant that most of the punk kids probably went here as and when they decided to show up and I was never a fan of people like that, I’m not saying I hate them I just prefer to stay away from them. I sighed ad crawled out of my bed and into the shower allowing the warm water to run over my body and relax me a little. I got myself dressed http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=102116084 before heading downstairs. 'Morning sweetie, do you want some breakfast?' my mum greeted, ugh breakfast I’ve always been just a little bit fat and I hate myself for it and that’s another one of my goals, to lose some weight and get rid of that little bit of unnecessary fat from around my hips. I looked at my mum and I knew she knew that I was debating it in my head, she always hated seeing me insecure about myself but I just couldn’t help, I mean Jesus she’d flip if she ever found out how bad things really are. I knew that my house wasn’t far from the school which I was grateful for, I needed the exercise. I walked past a field which I knew sat behind the school I walked down the alleyway which sat alongside it and I found myself growing scared of the sudden darkness that met me. I could feel eyes on me as I walked and I picked up my pace a little.
‘Now now darling whats a pretty thing like you doing walking down here all alone’ A voice spoke from the shadows and I was rooted to the spot afraid to turn around or walk away.
‘I..Uh..I’ my attempt at making a sentence failed me and I could just about stutter out a couple of words.
‘Don’t be afraid love we don’t bite’ A voice chuckled and I finally summoned up enough courage to turn around, I was met with a pair of striking green eyes and gorgeous chestnut curls that didn’t fit in with the dark image he was clearly going for. My thoughts flicked back to the stranger in the house opposite mine he was the same height and build and had a similar head of curls, but it just couldn’t be he was to punk to live in an area like that I shrugged it off and turned my attention back to the threat that was now growing ever closer to me.
‘Now tell me what’s a good girl like you doing down here?’ green eyes asked and a few answers flashed through my brain but they all seemed stupid to me.
‘I’m uh new round here’ I stated with as much confidence as I could muster, I may be a sweet innocent little thing but I wasn’t about to get walked on because of it.
‘Well if you carry on down the alley you’ll find what you are so obviously looking for love’ he chuckled and I felt myself blush slightly.
‘Well that what I was doing before I was interrupted’ I muttered rolling my eyes and I watched as a smile tugged at his lips before he pulled his lip ring in between his teeth.
‘You should watch your mouth round here, this is our territory you’re on, don’t want to go around making enemies on your first day now do ya?’ he asked with a smirk as his eyes ran over my body.
‘yeah well you’re clearly enjoying yourself’ I pointed out as I turned around to leave, I felt his strong hand grip my wrist as he spun me around and I came into contact with his chest, I looked up and gulped in fear.
‘Don’t come down here again darling, next time I might not be so nice’ he chuckled as he let go of my wrist; I turned around and got the hell out of there. He was right though the school was right at the end of the alley. I walked up to the entrance and I could feel the stares and hear the faint whispers of people asking who I was, I shrugged it off and headed into the office to get my schedule.
On my way out I walked straight into something or someone I should say, I could smell their cologne mixed in with the smell of mint and smoke, I looked up and I was greeted with a pair of familiar green eyes.
'Watch it’ He spat before pushing past me, I rolled my eyes as I headed off to my lesson. I walked into the class and everyone turned and looked at me and I instantly began to feel uncomfortable.
‘Ahh you must be the new girl Francesca right?’ The teacher asked looking at me
‘uh, Just Fran actually’ I replied with a small smile
‘Right then Fran, you can take a seat next to Perrie’ he pointed to a girl with blonde hair, the ends of which were dyed pink, she had her lip pierced and a few small tattoos, but she looked nice enough. I walked over and took a seat next to her.
‘Hi I’m perrie’ she greeted with a smile and I was right she was nice.
‘Hi, I’m Fran’ I replied even though it seemed pointless the teacher had just introduced me to everyone.
‘let me see your schedule, see if can help you find your way around’ I handed my schedule over to her and waited while she compared it to hers.
‘Well it looks like you are in all of my lessons, so you can stick with me if you like?’ she asked and I replied with a nod and smile, before turning my attention back to the board at the front.
Lunch time finally arrived and I was grateful because I was starving, I headed to the canteen with Perrie to grab some food before sitting down with her and a couple of other girls.
‘Right Fran this Danielle’ she pointed to a girl with curly brown hair, she was very slim and small with dark brown eyes and I instantly started feeling insecure about myself.
‘And this is Eleanor’ she then pointed to another girl with slightly curled brown hair who also had brown eyes.
‘Hey’ I greeted with a smile all three of these girls were beautiful and I could feel my insecurities rising.
‘Please call us by our nicknames, Pez, Dani and El’ Dani spoke and I chuckled slightly and nodded
‘Sure’ I continued to eat my lunch and answer questions about me that were asked and I started to feel a lot less nervous. We finished eating and I followed them as they headed to the field out the back.
‘Uh where are we going?’ I asked out of curiosity
‘There are some more people you need to get friendly with’ Perrie spoke and I just nodded and followed them, I was beginning to feel a bit like a sheep at this point but I shrugged it off.
‘Right Fran this is Liam, Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry’ Dani pointed to each of the boys as she said their name until she finally stopped at Harry and I froze it was him.

Harrys POV
I was having a friendly chat and smoke with Niall when I noticed the other lads’ girlfriends strolling over; I didn’t recognise who they were with until she got closer. I later came to learn that the girl that I’d met in the alley was called Fran. She was hot, but it was obvious she was scared by us and that made her even hotter somehow. I looked over at Niall and he quite obviously staring at her.
‘Oi mate she’s mine back off’ I growled just low enough for him to hear and he nodded. The girls had now joined the other halves and she was left standing there looking uncomfortable.
‘Alright love?’ I asked her in an attempt to make conversation with her but she nodded clearly not in the mood to speak.
‘I’m Niall and you must be the new girl I’ve heard so much about’ he spoke and I decided to sit back and let him talk to her because she was clearly more interested. I tuned out of their conversation until the bell rang and I heard Niall persuading her to come to Lou’s Party tonight.
Francesca’s POV
‘Please?’ he begged and I just nodded and covered my ears as the girls squealed in excitement. I was grateful Niall was here he made me feel comfortable when they girls were otherwise occupied with their boyfriends.
