CHAPTER 33: I'm Back!
Valentina’s P.O.V New Year’s night
*Ding, Dong*
Mom took one last glance around the room, making sure everything is set in place then she walked over to the door. “Hi, come in” She greeted everybody with fragile kisses on the cheek, they escaped pass her and walked over to the patio. They’re jaws dropped with amazement; they did a 360 around the patio looking over the pool that had candles floating in it.
There was Tiki torches sticking up out of the ground, illuminating the surroundings. Mom sure did an outstanding job. “Oh this is beautiful” Harry came up putting his hand on my hip. “I know she did a wonderful job” I was still starstruck by the floating balloons with glow sticks in them.
He moved his head towards my neck. His soft curls tickled my cheek. His smooth lips came in contact with my skin making them flare with wanting. “I was talking about you love” He sucked and nibbled on my jaw line. I quickly removed myself once I saw everybody staring. But he was still kissing me, I socked him just above his hip. “Uhh oh I like it rough” He softly giggled in my ear.
“Hahah shut-up” I moved myself quickly escaping over to mom. “Hey mom, um is there anything else we need to do” Harry came walking up behind me, careful not to touch me since mom was around company. “Uh no sweetheart Larry got it, but…I would like to introduce you to Daniel, Floral, Lisa and Tom, you guys this is my daughter Valentina and…..her, boyfriend Harry” I quickly lashed a tight smile at mom. They extended their arm out; shaking me and Harry’s hand. I leaned into mom’s ear when they started getting distracted talking. “Mom! I think everybody know that me and Harry are brother and sister”
She gave an elder guy a quick innocent smile. “No, sweetie these are my associates from New York…they don’t even know me and Larry are married” My chest released from the breath I was holding. “Okay…good” I turned around; glancing towards Harry’s direction but he was gone. “Mom, have you seen Harry?”
She started her way towards the pool “No” My senses kicked in, I walked around the pool looking high and low for him but he was nowhere to be seen. I walked inside the house; it was so quiet since the real party was outside. There was no anxiety building up in my chest this time, this time I was excited….something about looking for Harry was thrilling and fun. I walked quickly over to the den with a big grin splattered on my face. “Harry?” I whispered it softly like we were playing hide and seek. But he still didn’t respond I walked over to the kitchen (http://bs2h.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/amazing-beautiful-modern-kitchen.jpg ) but obviously there’s nowhere to hide in there. This game was getting better and better but at the same time I couldn’t grasp on why he would just out of nowhere hid himself.
I hurried and reversed myself and headed for the stairs. I was almost up the stairs; I swear theses will definitely be the death of me. I reached the top and was now anguish to where Harry could be; I mean he was just right behind me.

I closed the door quietly, trying not to draw attention. I walked quickly back down the hall to my room, I opened the door slowly, peering my head in. “Harry?” http://www.architectureartdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/ArchitectureArtDesigns-5410.jpg ) He wasn’t there either could this get any more fun but…irritating?
I closed my door and headed back towards the stairs. Where could he be? I can’t go this long without touching him. “Val? Where have you…..I’ve been looking for you” Larry was leaning against the stair post looking up at me worried. “Oh, I was just….” I scratched my head with irritation “Have you seen Harry by…any chance?” I walked further down the stairs. He put a devious smile on his face and started for the civilizational party “Have…you checked the guest bedroom?”
I sat there for a second, running across my mind that question. Why would he be in the guess bedroom? And we have a guess bedroom?! “Why would he….” Larry was gone just like that. Something was off about him, he looked at me like he had a secret; but he couldn’t tell so he hinted it to me. I quickly turned around and walked down the hall. If I didn’t know we had a guess bedroom, how would I know how to get there? “Hey sweetie, where have you been? It’s 11:25 so get ready” Mom kissed me on the forehead “Hey mom” I caught her before she turned away. “Where’s the….guess bedroom?” She gave me a kinky look and I could tell what she was thinking.
“Oh, mom no! Just…no” “Okay, okay it’s down the hall take a left, it’s the first door on the right” I gave her nod and started my way. Once I found the door I stopped to catch my breath. Oh god, this dress is just too much; it was starting to squeeze in every part of my body and I could hardly breathe. This dress is like a size 2 and I’m a long shot away from that digit.
I slowly opened the door. And a sudden wave of nausea came over me. Oh god, don’t throw up, don’t throw up. I blew out short deep breathes, calming my stomach down. My urge started going away but the light headiness feeling was still there. Oh these are going to be some long months; I slowly open the door “Harry?” I look around but he still wasn’t there, okay this is Bullshit! Thanks Larry, thanks for leading me to another dead end room.
I turned around but my eye caught the stuff on the bed (http://decoration0.com/wp-content/uploads/decoration27.jpeg ) How could I have missed this? I walked over to the bed slowly, observing the décor. Oh how sweet! I grabbed the card out of the white envelope and carefully opened it.

I quickly grabbed the note and slipped out the door. I walked down the hallway slowly and cautiously. What is he up to? A couple walks pass me laughing over a joke, they reeked of alcohol. I came to a another door, I double checked over my shoulder making sure nobody was looking at me. I slowly opened the door.

Harry’s P.O.V
I stood of by the window looking out at all those people; those people who are so clueless to me and Valentina’s relationship. I heard soft clicks of heels outside the door and I knew it was show time. I withdrew my shoulder off the window and walked closer to the table; I buttoned up my suite and straightened out my collar. I took a few short breathes, and closed my eyes for a few seconds.
Then the door opened slowly. I’ve missed seeing her, imagining putting this all together for her and not seeing her for hours until she finds you. Her leg walked in first before her body. That’s weird, her dress was long. Her hip eased into too, her dress was satin cream color. I thought Val’s dress was…..black and tan; the length of the dress was just above her knees. Then some blonde hair and blue eyes joined in with the picture.
“Shelby?!!”
“H-Hello babe”
Shit! Was she drunk? What about the………baby?
