saving her
chapter 1
Sam’s p.o.v
Well I shouldn’t still be in London right now I should be with perrie. I was supposed to move in 4 months ago. But my aunt got sick, so I had to stay to help her. Her words not mine. Although im not sure how much good I could have done. Im not a doctor, I guess she didn’t want to be left alone. But in the process she left me alone. That’s right I have no other family. Im alone. I guess I still have perrie she’s as good as family.
“Mrs. Park. Mrs. Park? Are you listening?” a voice interrupted my thoughts.
“Yes im listening,” I looked up at the lawyer. He was dealing with my aunts will.
“Well any how, your aunt Karla left you everything she owned in her will. Before she died she had everything switched from her bank account to yours. All you need to do is sign this piece of paper and you own her flat and everything in it.” He handed me a pen and pointed at the line I need to sign. I quickly scralled my name and stood up and walking towards the door. As I walked out of the large dreary building I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face. I looked down at my bright yellow vans. They were fling apart, just like my life. I walked back to the flat that I now owned. Ii wasn’t that far of a walk. 4 blocks at most.
When I got home I looked at the living room. I was weird not seeing my aunt sitting there hunched over her books. As I closed the door I went straight to the hall closet to grab my suitcase. I had to leave. There were too many painful memories here from when I was younger and how she raised me from age five. We were so lose back then. But we grew apart as I got older, and she got busier at work.
I threw the suitcase on my bed and opened it as wide as it would go. I started throwing my clothes in the bag. I only took what I actually liked though. After I started putting most of my belongings in the suitcase. Once it was full to the point I could barely close it I ran back to the closet to get more bags and continue packing my room up.
………………
“Hey perrie!”
“Oh my gosh! Is that you Sam!?” she screeched through the phone.
“Ya it’s me, do you still have room for me in your flat? All of the legal matters of my aunt’s death are cleared up so im free to leave.”
“Im really sorry about your aunt. And Of course I still have room! I am so excited, when will you be here by?”
“Saturday, I already sold the flat this morning after I packed yesterday. I just need to clean up a little,” that gave me 3 days to sell or pack everything else in my flat.
“Okay cool. In the spare room, which is now your room, there is already a bed with covers and dresser.”
“Thanks perrie you’re the best. Ill talk to you later okay?”
“Okay bye!”
“Bye,” I said ending the call and walking into my aunts room to clean up. As soon as I walked in I looked at her dresser and opened the top drawer. I only needed to clean her clothes out. She never had anything that I particularly liked so I decided to just sell it.
………………
I looked at all of the ‘to get rid of’ boxes and started carrying them down to my car. After I sold the to a bargain shop I made my way home to finish cleaning. I had just the top of her bedside table to do. There was a picture frame, of my aunt, my mom and me in the London eye. I was so young in that picture 3 or 4 I figured. A tear fell from my cheek and on to the table. I hadnt even reilized I was crying. I took the picture and put in down, I was going to bring that with me. I needed something to remind me of my to motherly figures. I went back to the table, there was an envelope. It had been behind the picture. I picked it up only to discover it said my name on the front.
