They Don't Know About Us

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cake

I was pressed to his car, our lips moving around each others. We'd been standing there for a while. One of his hands was in my messy locks, lightly scratching my scalp with his finger tips. The other resting in the small of my back. I, too had one hand in his hair, twirling curls near his neck. My other hand had found a nice place on his chest cupped slightly above his pex. I was glad I was wearing a jumper, afraid of how far we would have gone if it not been for the high collar of it.
Our phones went of at the same time, his ringing, my vibrating. We pulled apart, awkwardly chuckling as we grabbed our phones, I silently cursed who ever it had been making my phone make this obscene noise. I had a text, but seems someone had called Harry.
"I told you I was going out." He said into the mouth piece, his brow furrowed as he tried telling the person on the other end what he was doing, not going into deep detail, obviously. I was still mesmerized by his beauty. His dark hair against his fair skin, his check bones that were higher then my own, and his eyes, there was no word that would equal my feelings towards them, they were perfectly green, and perfectly beautiful, and perfectly perfect. When he turned around and saw that I was staring at him yet again, his brow unfurrowed and he smiled down as he towered over me. Without looking at my phone I unlocked the screen. When I did look down, I read the text.
*Where are you?* Then I looked at the time, my grew wide, it was nearly two the morning.
"All right, I'm on my way home now, yeah I'll be fine tomorrow. Yup... about an hour or so...all right see ya in tomorrow." He pressed a button before putting the phone back into his pocket.
"It's almost four." We must have been in there a long while." I tilted my head towards the diner we were hanging out in front of.
"I guess so." His lips were turned upwards in a smirk. We were only a few feet apart, our hands already clasped together.
"We should go." I didn't want to but I knew we had to. We'd been out for several hours, our absence would have to have been known by all our friends by now, which meant all our efforts to convince them otherwise will be useless.
"I know." He pulled my into a warm hug, the air outside bitterly cold. He kissed the top of my head before opening the passenger's door. I climbed in, pulling the door shut. Harry walked briskly to his door and also got in. We were off. Now I hadn't been on many first dates, but this really takes the cake. This date was like a chocolate brownie fudge cake. Yes chocolate and bownie and cake. It was that good.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's going on tomorrow?" I was kind of curious, but it wasn't like I was dying to know. As we waited in traffic, he turned to look at me.
"Our next interview." He cocked his left eyebrow up, wiggling it a little before returning his attention back to the road. We both smiled as the world would finally know. "You know it despite my great acting, it has been extremely hard for me not to tell the world, that we're like together."

Harry's PoV
Did I just say that. I mean I was thinking it, of course, but uhh wait.
"Yeah, it's been hard not telling Eleanor, and just so you know even though we'll be telling them about us tomorrow, i guess, I would never tell anyone about you hip." I hadn't been worried that she would tell someone, but it was nice to know. Most people probably would have sold the story to a stupid tabloid magazine, but not Lexi, she was different. Almost in every way possible. She wasn't always peppy, or loud like Eleanor. She wasn't always hanging off of someone like Perrie. Ad she wasn't always insecure, like it seemed Dani always was. Not to say it's not nice to know someone has weaknesses or that its not nice to have someone to joke around with, or nice to have a girlfriend act like one. I knew we'd have our moments like that.
"So, your favorite food is avocado, whats your favorite animal?" I changed the subbect in fear that I was quiet too long.
"Penguins!" Her voice changed into that of a cartoon character's, it went high sing songy. It was really cute. My smile grew. "What's yours?" She returned.
"I like a friendly kitten." I grew up with a dog and cats. I'd always admired how dependent they were.
"Yeah kittens are cute." She nodded, my smile grew even more.
"You're really adorable." I told her with more confidence then I'd had all night.
"Thank you."
"And polite."
"Thank you." I giggled as she ducked her head down like she hadn't gotten very many compliments in her life. I felt bad, that sum bag Charlie probably never told her anything good about her.
As we got closer to her flat a black started following us. I hoped Lexi hadn't noticed them. I kept driving, masking my concern. I tried to pretend not to know where to go and accidentally turn down the wrong street. With every turn the car followed. Soon I couldn't stale any longer, if I made another wrong turn Lexi might think I've kidnapped her.
"Umh, I don't mean to frighten you, but you're being followed." She stated, no worry in her voice and no concern either.
"Ought. Yeah, I noticed, that's why I've been turning down wrong streets and stuff." I confessed.
"Yeah, i figured that, but I wasn't sure."
"It's probably just some stupid paparazzi person." I explained to her, hoping that's what it was. "You could came stay at my place, if you'd like. I mean If it is some paparazzi guy and you don't want them to know where you live." I offered, not sure what her answer would be.
"If you think that'd be best?" She questioned.
"It's up to you, it's just if we tell the world we're together, then like your house will most likely get mobbed and that really wouldn't be good, I mean you won't have a minute alone." He looked down at ther hands in her lap.
"What if I don't want a minute alone." She was afraid, not of what would happen, but she was fearful of the voice she heard in her head. Charlie's voice. I knew how she felt, and often felt grateful I wasn't alone. Except the voice in my head hadn't been someone else, it was my own, making it unbearable to deal with.
"That's fine, we'll just go to my house and everything will be fine." I reached my hand over to her, rubbing her gently with care. "We'll just ask Niall to help us cover, for where you are tonight." I assured her.
"Wait, i haven't showered in two days,-"
"Don't worry about it, we've got a shower at the house." I drove, focusing on the road, trying my best to ignore the black car that followed close behind.
"You've been really kind to me." She wrapped her hand around mine, causing me to forget we were being followed. The car looked familiar so I didn't worry about it for a while.
I couldn't help seeing the way the waves in her hair twisted in different directions. The way her hand sat so delicately on her thighs. How soft her hands were. Her eyes, the way they were mostly green with a little gold ring around the pupil, and sometimes they would have blue behind the green. It felt like there was something new so discover about them each time I would look at her, and I wanted to find those things out. I wanted to know all about her.
When we were about a block away from mine and Louis' flat the black car started going faster, getting right up near my back bumper. I sped went a little fast making room between our vehicles. The black car decided to do the same, slowing way down creating load of space. I turned into my parking spot. The black car also out it's car in park.
"Wait till i come around before you get out." I told her, concern running through my veins as now I wasn't sure if it would be a paparazzi. A tall muscular man got out of the small dark colored car. In the of the street lamp, the car looked more blue then black. I waited for him to be few feet away his car before I got out. He didn't seem to have a camera, that scared me.

Lexi's PoV
Harry waited for the man in the other car to get out. But when he did I wished he hadn't.
"Can we just go inside please." I knew who the person in the other car was. And I didn't want to see them, I never wanted to see them again. Harry looked confused, but continued to climb out of the vehicle. "Please." I grabbed his hand trying to get him to come back. "Please, It's Charlie, and he looks angry and I really just don't-" The anger came into Harry's eyes like fire. Burning through all the peacefulness we had at the diner.
"Lexi, I just want to talk to him."
"NO!" I yelled. "Please, you look as though you could kill someone right now, whether that's true or not, I don't care. Charlie looked wicked mad and God knows he's dangerous." Harry climbed back into his vehicle as the Charlie approached my side of the car. I sat face locked on Harry's as he tried to get my attention. I was so desperate to get out I climbed over Harry and out his door, running to get to the build, hoping Harry had been right behind me. I wasn't crying and for once I didn't feel like it.
I was glad that Harry was right behind me, his key already out to unlock the door. There was Charlie, though, quick on our heals, catching up to us.
"Wait! Lexi!" I didn't care, I never wanted to speak to him again.
"She doesn't want to talk to you, can't you tell?!" Harry yelled after him before slamming the door to the building in Charlie's face and re-locking it. I hadn't realized how tired I was until we were about half way up the steps. It had to be nearly three. IT sounded rude, but I was thankful to Harry for saying that to him.
