AWKWARD!! (Continued)
*Andie's POV*
Gosh, the view here is very beautiful. I could stand and stare at it for hours. I looked over and saw Liam. Should I go talk to him? Or would that be too awkward? Oh Andie stop being a baby and just go talk to him!
"Hey Liam." I said as I walked over to him, and here comes my accent popping out again.
"Hi Andie, umm if you don't mind me asking, urm are you uh... Are you Irish?" He asked me, he kind of seems nervous, maybe he doesn't want to talk to me??
"Yeah, I'm half Irish."
"That's cool. My friend's Irish." Is he saying that Andy is Irish too?? I didn't think he was...
"Really? Andy's Irish?"
"Ha-ha" That was a definite nervous laugh, "no not Andy, Niall."
"Ah! Right Niall Horen...I totally knew that." Okay so that was just a little lie…
"Right..." Okay, this is getting kind of awkward, wait, where is Andy?
"Where is Andy anyway?"
"He...umm...he got off at the last port. He's visiting his family." He's stuttering, cute.
"Oh that's nice." Alright, this is seriously gotten awkward now; no one has talked for a few
minutes now.
"Sooooooo how's your day been?" He asked me breaking the AWKWARD silence.
We talked for a while after that, things started to get less awkward once we got a conversation going. I learned that we actually have a lot in common! He loves Toy Story, and that is one of my favorite movies! Of course it kind of helps that my name is one of the characters names. Both our favorite animals are turtles, we both love to sing in the shower, and we are both pretty clumsy (as I learned earlier). He is a pretty cool guy I must admit, and kind of attractive, that helps. I am glad he accidentally ran into me, maybe now I can have a friend on this boat I can talk to and go do things with!
"Well, it is getting kind of late; I should probably go to bed." I said I was pretty tired; I didn't really sleep well last night. "Yeah, I probably should to, but we'll talk tomorrow?"
"Yeah! Of course! I'll see ya tomorrow." I said as I turned walking to my room with the biggest smile on my face. I just made myself a friend.
