Ada's Point of View

"Stop!" I took a step back and held my hand, signaling to not come any closer. "This is what's going to happen," he stayed frozen, "you're going to get back in your car and go home and I'm going to walk inside."

"But Ada." He took another step forward and I took another step back.

"Harry Styles, don't you dare take another step forward." He finally didn't move and I dropped my arm to my side. I exhaled heavily, I'm doing pretty damn good right now.

"But--"

"No."

"I just--"

"Nope." I began backing away slowly as if he had a gun and I was trying to escape steadily. He finally looked down and laughed. I stomped my foot. "Stop Harry! That's not fair!"

He looked at me in shock. "What?"

"You're showing me those damn dimples on purpose! I swear you do it every time to get a reaction out of me!" He smiled some more, this time definitely on purpose. I was now stuck and he walked closer to me.

"These dimples?" He poked his cheeks where they surface and I melted.

"Stop it." I carried out the 't' in 'it'. I began running towards my house and screamed when I felt him catch me playfully. I don't know how but we ended up running around the yard like children playing tag. "I'm going to kill you Harry!"

We ran in circles and made zig-zags in the grass. When he finally caught me to the point where I was on the ground and under him I laughed carelessly. He tickled me and I spazzed out.

"Seriously Harry! Stop it!" I can't breathe from all of the running, and tickling, and feelings rushing inside my body.

"Fine." He stopped tickling me but didn't get up.

"Get off Harold." He laughed again.

"And if I don't?"

"You will." I looked at him with a glare and I think it scared him a bit.

"Can I tell you something?"

"No." I whispered. This is not about to turn into something all cheesy and romantic. "But you can get off of me."

He picked a piece of grass from my hair and then brushed my hair behind my ear. Thankfully the ground isn't wet or we'd both be soaked and smelly.

"You scare me." I giggled,

"I scare you?"

"Yeah, you're so unpredictable and it scares me."

"Harry."

"Yeah?" I think he's expecting something a little more romantic than what I'm about to tell him.

"I have to pee and you're elbow is pushing down onto my stomach. If you don't get off I swear I'll--"

"Okay, okay, I'm up!" I stood and wiped off my lovely yoga pants. At least I'm not wearing my good jeans.

Harry's Point of View

"She wouldn't let me kiss her."

"Really?" Zayn laughed.

"Yeah, I was certain she'd cave in and it'd be really cute and memorable."

"No man, she needs space. I thought she told you that."

"I know, it just sucks. How much time does she need?"

"Hi mates." Liam sat next to me in the studio. Louis and Niall still aren't here so I decided to tell them my embarrassing story.

"Harry's just telling me about how he embarrassed himself last night." Zayn laughed again and he replayed last night.

"Bro, you really are wrapped around her finger." They both laughed as Niall and Louis walked into the room. The conversation ended and we began doing what we do best: make music.

I sat in biology trying really hard to make it through without passing out. The last period always sucks and I just really want to get to rehearsal. Our show is tomorrow and I've never been so excited. The stage is huge and there is going to be so many more people this time. The concert holds 500 seats and apparently we've already sold 350 tickets.

The bell finally rang and I was the first one out. Today practice is from 4:30 until whatever time Ada decides. I wouldn't mind being there all night.

"Hey can I get a ride? My car broke down and Elisha already left with Oakley."

"Yeah no problem." Niall and I got in and I took him home. Since rehearsal would start soon he just grabbed some things and we went to my house.

"So are you and Ada a thing yet?"

"No, and we haven't hung out since our movie night when you and Liam ditched me. Thanks for that by the way." He laughed but right now I'm glad I didn't kiss her; he didn't need to here something like that.

"Really? I'm surprised. Maybe she did love me." He chuckled.

"She cared for you a lot Niall. She still does and right now we're both in time out as far as I'm concerned. She doesn't spend time with either of us and we only talk when we have to."

"Yeah, you're right." He paused for a while and stared out at the beautiful sky. I love that it's not raining.

"What are you thinking?"

"I wanna tell you something lad and you'll be the first to know--besides El." He's worrying me.

"Okay?" I parked in front of the building and took off my seat belt so we were facing each other.

"I'm going to uni Harry."

"Yeah? That's awesome! Congrats! Why do you look upset?"

"It's in Ireland. I'm going back home."

"What?" He's leaving us?

"I haven't seen my parents and brother in a year and I really miss it. The university I'm going to is one I've always wanted to go to. It's in Dublin and I'm really happy."

"You haven't told Ada?" He shook his head, no longer looking at me. "Damn. How do you think she'll take it?"

"Honestly, I think she'll cry and blame herself but I sent the application back in November. We had just started dating but I couldn't give up my dream college for something that could fall apart."

I feel my eyes getting heavy. "I'm really going to miss you man. You've become like one of my brothers. Despite everything, I really will miss you."

He smiled and we hugged awkwardly across the shift stick. "Don't worry, I'll be back. And I feel bad because of the band but...."

"You sent it a long time ago Niall, you have no reason to apologize."

This really sucks but I'm glad he told me. I promised not to tell anyone and let him figure it out. He'd be leaving to go back home in the middle of June so I suggested that he should tell Ada soon. With that we dropped it and walked inside. It's rehearsal time.
