Harry's Point of View

We waited back stage nervously. This song we wrote came from mainly Niall...and me. It was weird but our feelings are towards the same girl. Some days I want to be with her and love her, but recently, I wouldn't mind breaking her heart a few times. The other guys saw the song a little differently--about their family or about girls they liked but everyone knows who the song is actually about.

Ada's introduction began and Perrie started singing. Zayn had something with her and I'm pretty sure he fell in love right when he saw her. We stood in silence, tapping on anything that was around to calm our nerves.

"Are you guys ready?" Liam was the most confident out of all of us.

"Yeah, we'll be great." I smiled weakly.

"It'll be fun guys. If they don't like us then we can just keep it to ourselves." Niall said with a smile. He always seemed so happy all the time; even when he wasn't with Ada. Louis put his hand in the middle of our circle.

"Hi-ho-cheerio." Liam put his hand on top of Louis',

"It's off to work we go." We all laughed and continued. Niall was next,

"Bob the builder, we can do it!"

I looked at Niall and followed his lead, "Yes we can, yes we can!" We looked at Zayn, waiting for him. He put his hand on the top of the pile,

"I don't know what to say." We all laughed and headed onto the stage.

Everyone clapped and we each took our microphone. We practiced our routine so many times it would be really difficult for us to mess it up. Niall would be the only one sitting in a chair playing guitar and the rest of us had a rotation to follow. When everyone stopped clapping I introduced.

"Hello, I'm Harry and this is Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Louis. We don't really have a band name but umm, yeah this is Story of My Life." I heard some chuckles from the audience but I always had to say something before I began performing to get rid of my nerves. Niall and I both looked for Ada. She was sitting with Oakley and El near a window. She kept her eyes on Liam and gave him a nod. I guess he was looking at her too. I nodded to Niall and he began playing. I had the first part:

I tried to keep my eyes away from Ada but it didn't seem possible. She was looking at me during my part and she smiled, even though she doesn't want me, I know she loves my voice. I moved over to my next spot to let Liam take his turn and then we moved again for Zayn. Zayn had his eyes on Perrie and she continued smiling at him while twirling her hair with her finger. It was my turn again and I stepped forward with more passion and locked eyes with Ada,

The story of my life, I take her home,
I drive all night to keep her warm and time
is frozen

I stretched my last note out as Niall and Louis sang,

Written on these walls are the colors that I can't change,

I watched him--he made no eye contact with Ada but she was definitely looking at him. Zayn's part came and we all waited for him to hit his high note,

And I've been waiting for this time to come around,
But baby running after you is like chasing the clouds

He hit it like crazy and pointed to Perrie. I wish I could do that with Ada. This time Niall looked up,

The story of my life, I take her home,
I drive all night to keep her warm and time,
is frozen

He smiled as he serenaded her. I don't think she knew he could sing that well. We all sang together and then I ended it,

The story of my life....

It was quiet; everyone must have hated it. A few seconds later everyone was jumping up and down and screaming. We all looked at each other and smiled. Louis pulled us in and we had a big hug. "We did it guys, we were great." Louis was right, we were amazing.

Ada's Point of View

"Damn they're good!" Oakley said as we clapped. Maybe the song was about me. When Niall and Harry made eye contact, those parts did sound familiar. I got up and walked to the stage again,

"Next up we have Sarah and Maggie." I giggled as I walked off stage. This should be interesting. I went behind the counter and switched with Amy, "Go enjoy yourself! It's your turn to have fun." She smiled and handed me a rag.

"Thanks Ada."

"Sure." The next customer came up to me and ordered a coffee to go, "Are you sure you don't want to wait around? We've had a lot of great acts so far." A young boy stood in front of me with four dollars.

"I want to but my mom said it's passed my bed time." I looked up and saw his mother standing by the door waiting rather moody. I took his money and slid a lollipop to him.

"This is between you and me." He smiled and I winked at him, "Now go on with your mom." He mouthed 'thanks' to me and ran off. I took some mugs to the kitchen and when I returned Harry....and Niall stood in front of me.

"Uh, hey guys." I furrowed my eyebrows confused.

"Hey beautiful," Niall said with a smile. My eyes grew in shock that he would even think to say that in front of Harry, "do you think I could get five hot teas?" I looked at Harry and he was tense; making no eye contact with me. I don't think he expected that from Niall and I wasn't going to let it happen.

"First of all, don't call me beautiful. Second of all, no, you can't have any hot tea because we ran out." Harry zapped out of his slouched and looked at me like I was a different person. He's never seen me like this before. At least while he's completely sober. I looked at Harry. "By the way you were amazing tonight Harry. I haven't heard you sing in forever." He blushed,

"Do you think I can just get a coke since you're out of tea?" I smiled,

"Sure." I walked away and could hear them whispering. I could tell they were both mad at each other but it wasn't a I'm-going-to-kill-you kinda deal. It was just like two boys having a small argument. I handed Harry his coke and he paid. "Now what do you want asshole?" Harry choked on his coke and Niall just stared at me with squinted eyes.

"I'm going to go sit with the guys. I think they're going to want something."

"Yeah, I'll be over in a minute to get their orders. Thanks Harry." Maybe this meant he wasn't mad at me anymore. I put the cash in the register and Niall just stood their. "What the hell are you thinking? I'm trying to be friends with Harry and you're already trying to ruin it."

"I was joking! He knew that!"

"Whatever. What do you want?" He sighed,

"I just want you."

"Sorry, I'm not for sale."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means I really don't want to talk to you right now and you should just go sit down with your friends."

"You're not going to tell me how I did? How I sounded?"

"No, I'm not."

"Wow thanks for the support Ada." He mumbled under his breath, "someone's PMS-ing."

"You did not just say that." Luckily for Niall, Sarah and Maggie's performance just ended. I went back on the stage and introduced another act and went to the five super stars. "You guys were amazing!" I smiled at all of them besides Niall. I just ignored him. "Are you guys going to be performing anymore?"

"Yeah, hopefully." Zayn said with Perrie by his side. "Oh, and this is Perrie."

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you. I think I've seen you around school." She is gorgeous.

"Yeah, I've seen you a few times. I think we might have the same lunch." Her voice was soft.

"You should come eat with me and some of my friends next time."

I got everyone's orders and sent them out. I was actually having a lot of fun tonight. Besides Niall's stupid comments of course. He was right, I am on my period but that gives him no right to be a dick.
