Our Greatest Adventure
Chapter 6
We just got to the airport and said our goodbyes to everyone. Now we’re boarding the plane. I can’t wait till we get there.
*Once on the plane*
We sat in our seats. Then a flight attendant came over to us and asked, “Would you lovely ladies like to come with me up to the first class section because we just got two openings.” He said while winking at us both. We nodded and went up to first class this was going to be the best plane ride ever. Then the pilot said over the intercom, “Ladies and gentlemen. Please buckle up because we our now on our way to London, England which is a 10 hour flight. Sierra and I were so ready to get there, but we had to wait. So we both pulled out our iPods when the pilot said it was ok and fell asleep to our different music.
*10 hours later*
I just woke up Sierra so we could get off the plane. And we started walking off when there was a whole bunch of screams around us from teenage girls. My uncle Paul was here to pick us up because I didn’t have a car. But it looks like he is babysitting. Great, I think. Si asked me, “Why are all of these girls here screaming?” Then I told her to look more carefully, she did and she say the One Direction posters everywhere. “Ahhhhhhh,” she screamed, “Why are they here though? Its not like your uncle is really Paul Higgins from One Direction right?” She asked me and I said, “Oh look our ride is here,” then I pull Si and we push our way through the mob of girls when my uncle comes over to us. I ran up to him and gave him a hug and he lifts me up, “Teddy bear,” I scream at him, “Hello Princess,” he said back at me. “Teddy bear. You know my name is Mack not Princess.” He laughed and said, “You know my name’s Uncle Paul, right, not Teddy Bear?” “To shay,” I said back to him. Then I turn around to see 5 boys stunned at me and 1 girl looking at the boys stunned (a.k.a Sierra). I just laughed when Harry spoke up and said, “Wow Paul. I didn’t realize you had a girlfriend or that she was this gorgeous,” he said motioning to me. I rolled my eyes in disgust at him, “Um ew he’s my uncle, not my boyfriend.” After I turned around and said, “Uncle meet my best friend and sister, Sierra.” As I pushed her towards him. She said, “Hi,” and I asked, “So. Can we go yet. I really don’t feel like getting mobbed over stupid people fans.” The guys looked shocked and me and my uncle just laughed. Then my uncle pointed to the door and helped us through the mob of crazy teenage girls. As we got in the car, Si hit me and whispered to me, “Ok, one, don’t insult the guys. You know I love them and two, why didn’t you tell me that your uncle was Paul?” I responded, “You never asked and I will try to be nice to them, but no promises.” Then Liam spoke up, “Hi i’m L..” I cut him off, “I know who you guys are and so does she,” As I point to Si. “Also, I’m Mack and this is Si.” After that she hit me and I ignored her just stared out the window while putting in my music. I ignored the rest of the conversation, and fell asleep.
*Si’s P.O.V*
After I hit Mack as in giving her a hint to stop it. I know she was kinda mad at me, but she just needs some time to herself. So I gave it to her knowing this was going to be hard since she hated the guy. Well, she would still like them, but her dad told her she had to hate them otherwise he would go kill them and I know somewhere deep down she was fangirling over them. I hated to see her go through leaving the band she loved. But if I was in her position I would have done the same. While the guys were talking in between themselves I thought back to that day.
*Flashback*
I was going over to Mack’s to see the new One Direction movie with her because she just got it from her mom. I walked up the steps when I heard Mack’s dad yelling a week before we just found out that he was crazy and her mom was divorcing him. So once I heard him screaming at someone not sure who yet, I ran in the house. I found out it was coming from Mack’s room on the top floor. I got to the top and her dad had a gun in his hand and was yelling, “THEY'RE STUPID AND YOU WILL GROW UP WITHOUT THEM!” When Mack yelled back while trying to stand up from being knocked on the ground. “THEY ARE NOT STUPID! THEY ARE MY WORLD AND YOU WILL NOT TAKE THAT AWAY!” That’s when he slapped her for what looked like the 20th time and I ran in screaming at him, “GET AWAY FROM HER!!” When I ran over to Mack she was strong, but I know this was hurting her when her dad said calmly, “If you don’t forget about them than I will go kill them.” I looked at him like he was joking, then I looked at Mack’s face and I could tell he wasn’t. She said, “I will obey you father.” While she looked down. Then he left finishing off by saying, “Get everything of them out of this house in ten minutes or else.” Right then and there she looked beat up and heart broken. Then she asked in a whisper, “Help me please.” I started right away.
*End of flashback*
I was pulled out of my thoughts with Niall pleading to go to Nandos and the guys said, “What about them?” Pointing to us when I piped up, “I have money you know. I can pay for both of….” when Niall interrupted me saying, “I will pay for them just, please.” he finished and winked at me. I blushed at him winking at me. Then we pulled up to Nando’s and I woke up Mack from her sleep.
