We both were running; luckily for us there was a big hill before our houses. Which is where both of us broke one of our arms biking down. Thats the main reason I switched to the skateboard because I have more control. I walk to the house to see my mom, little brother, and sister on the couch watching a disney movie. That was a promise I made to my mom that after school I was going to watch all the old disney movies, so she still felt like she had her little girl. I shut the door and tried to be quiet, but the door slammed shut and scared everyone. Than I started to die from laughter. As I was laughing my 5 year old brother was running up to me for a hug along with Kendra, my 14 year old sister. “Hey monkey,” I say to Teagan as I hug him. Then I set him down and Kendra wanted a hug, but I dodged it knowing that I would get payback for that. I ran to the table while my mom is already sitting there, so I give her a light kiss on the cheek. “Hey ma,” I said. My mom said, “Hello.” I asked “Anything in there for me?” While she is looking through the mail. “No, I don’t think so. Sorry,” she said. Right when I saw a piece of mail that has my name on it, I snatch it from my mom and say “ Ha ha mom very funny you know I have been waiting for this.” “Yea, I know, but I just don’t like the idea of you growing up,” she said. “Yea, mom I know, but you also know how good this could be for me,” I said. “Yes I know, so what are you waiting for, open it,” she said. “Okay. Be right back,” I said while running out of the house meeting Si. “What took you so long?,” Si asked. I only needed to respond with one word, “mom.” Si and I started laughing, then we got serious. “Okay you ready for this?” she asked and I nodded. Than we both opened the letters and screamed, “AHHHHHHHHHH, WE GOT IN!!!!!” and we started doing our victory dance’s while our moms and siblings were laughing at us from the windows of our houses. We laughed. Now, we both knew in two day’s we were leaving for the UK. We couldn’t wait.
