Kellen asked me out on a date tonight, my head was spinning, did he really like me? Here I am sitting in my room listening to my dad’s old albums. I miss one direction, they were never the same after my mom died, or at least that’s why my Aunt Aubrey tells me. I am 17 years old, a junior in high school and the daughter of Harry Styles.
My brother Nick is 15 years old and Maya is 12, my dad is 35 years old now. He actually isn’t that old, he goes on dates every once in a while but Maya hates it and cries when he does. I mean I want him to be happy and find love but she is so stubborn.
I miss my mom, I think about her every day. Even though I was only five I still remember her, my dad and her would sing to me before I went to sleep every night. The worst is how Maya remembers her, or more on how she doesn’t remember her. She asks my dad about her, but she gets frustrated and jealous that she never had the chance to know her for all that long. What she doesn’t understand is that my mom chose to not take treatment so Maya could live, but you can’t really ever explain that stuff to a 12 year old.
My Aunt Aubrey and Niall finally got married; I was the flower girl in their wedding. It was a really hard day for my aunt though because again she wanted my mother as her maid of honor. Kellen is 18 years old, and the hottest boy in the senior class, and then there is Julian who is 17, the same age as me. Mandi is 14 and so mature for her age, I am pretty sure she has a crush on Nick, which makes me so happy because I know he likes her.
Julian likes me, but I just love him as a brother. That’s why I was so surprised that Kellen asked me out tonight.
“Darcie where do you think you’re going tonight?” My dad asked me.
“Out on a date with Kellen, can I please have money to go buy new clothes?” I gave him my puppy dog face that always works, and magically it did and he gave me a hundred dollars.
“Thanks dad, I love you!” and with that I ran out of the house into my range rover. Nick, Maya, and I were spoiled but we never took it for granted. My dad surprised me for my birthday with this car, I’ve wanted it since I was ten, and then I had a huge sweet sixteen.
The first store I went in was Forever 21; I bought some black skinny jeans and a cute crop top. I didn’t want to look to overly dressed, I mean we were just going to the movies. Then I went into Zumiez, and couldn’t help but buy myself another pair of vans. My dad says I get my sense of style from my mom, which is pretty cool to think that she dressed like me. My iPhone started to ring, and I realized I got a text from Julian.

Julian: Why are you going out with Kellen?
Me: Since when do you tell me who I can and cannot hang out with?
I couldn’t help but be sassy; he knows I just like him as a friend.
Julian: You’re making a mistake; you know he’s going to cheat on you.
I just ignored the text, sure KJ has had a few girlfriends, but I’ve known him since I was a baby, things were going to go smoothly, right?

Maya and I were going out to dinner tonight. She is the last of my babies, but is already 12. She is the most stubborn and rebellious out of the three. I sometimes feel like she hates me, she’s always distant with me, when she was younger she used to scream for her mother which would kill me inside.
“Maya, ready to go?” She walked into the kitchen, looking annoyed.

“ Why do we need to go out to dinner? I want to go out with my friends, don’t I get enough of you at home….” She said, rolling her eyes.
“Come on its just dinner, Nick is going out with friends and Darcie has plans with Kellen, just get in the car now.” I told her firmly, I wasn’t in the mood to put up with her attitude tonight. She rolled her eyes again, and got in the range rover. I tried to talk to her in the car, but all I was receiving was one word answers, so I gave up.
I decided to take her to a small pizza place, in Boston. As we were about to order, I was noticed. I mean I may be older, but people still know I am Harry Styles. A beautiful lady, who looked about thirty five, came up to me. She had long blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.
“ Hey I am such a big fan! Can I get an autograph?” She smiled and I began to write. She looked at Maya.
“Oh my God you look just like your mother! She was such a beautiful woman!” I could tell this wasn’t going to go over well.
“That’s nice, I never knew her so I wouldn’t know, you can go sleep with my dad now. Whore…” Maya said under her breath. The lady just looked at Maya in surprise, I started to apologize, and reprimanded Maya, but she got up and ran.
