Suicidal Fate - ON HOLD

'This is it' Kassi thought. 'No more name calling, no more hateful glares, no more hair pulling, no more life.'

'This is it' Harry thought. 'No more bashings, no more teasing, no more rejection, no more life.'

She made her way up the hill and stood on the edge of the cliff. The wind was blowing her hair in all directions as she stared out across the ocean, taking off her glasses and putting them in her jacket pocket.

He walked up the grass slope to the edge. The wind almost blew off his blue beanie, but he pushed it further onto his head.

She took a deep breath and a step forward. The ends of her shoes were now of the edge of the rock.

He stepped forward, swallowing the rising lump in his throat. His toes were no longer on solid ground.

Kassi looked down at the sheer drop that decended to pointed rocks being swallowed by each wave that smashed against its surface. She calmed her breathing to a steady pace as she closed her eyes and prepared herself for what was about to happen.

Harry looked out across the ocean then up at the grey sky. The sound of waves slapping against rock calmed his breathing as he closed his eyes for a moment.

She opened her eyes one last time, looking up to the sky and mentaly sending her love to her sister. She took in her surroundings one last time, looking to the left to see the cement path lined with trees she just climbed to reach this destination. She looked to her right seeing similar grounds to what she was standing on, yet this space was occupied by a curly haired boy who was fixing himself to jump.

He sent his love to God, his mother and his sister while placing his hand on his heart and closing his eyes. Opening his eyes one last time, Harry looked behind him, his house at the bottom of the steep grass slope. He faced the left only to see a beautiful girl standing right on the edge staring right at him with curious blue eyes.

Kassi didn't believe a boy with his looks ever wanting to do something like this, wouldn't he be the most popular boy in school with all the girls wanting him?

Harry couldn't believe a girl as beautiful as her would be here in this position, don't all the guys want her and all the girls want to be her?

She took a small step away from the ledge and walked a few steps towards him.

He stepped away from the danger of the edge and walked towards her.
