I was released from the hospital four hours later; it was three in the morning. I was very shaken up and afraid. Everywhere I turned I saw the man’s face. I felt like I was in a nightmare that kept going bad. I found out his name was Aaron. For all I cared he could go to hell, he was one evil person that could have destroyed my life. My parents were disappointed that I went the club but happy that I was alright. My mom hugged me for a good ten minutes. Alyce went home, she was also shaken up and still in a daze from the night.
Right when I got home I decided to call Harry, he was probably sleeping but I didn’t care. “HE DID WHAT!” Harry yelled through the phone. I was in tears as I told the story and shaking. I dropped the phone and just sobbed. Between hearing Harry’s voice and this awful night I was just sad and missing my boyfriend. I was depressed and just wanted to be with him.
I picked the phone back up. “Babe, shh, shh its okay. He will go to jail; he will never touch you again!” Harry said. I could hear in his voice how worried he was. “I just want to be in your arms.” I don’t even know how the words came out over all of the tears. It was the truth; I did not feel safe in this state. I had to leave, I just had to. I had asked my parents before about visiting Harry in London but of course my father said no.
“Peyton you’re all I think about, I miss you and your kisses, I have been pretty depressed to lately….” He said it so softly I couldn’t even hear him well. “Then buy me a plane ticket.” I said very clearly. “Really? What about your parents?” he said. “I don’t care, I need to see you. Its summer and I want to enjoy it the only way I will enjoy it is if I’m with you.” Everything I was saying was a hundred percent true and it felt right. “I don’t like doing this behind your parents back but I’ll book the flight. Have Aubrey come to so she can see Niall.” He said sounding very happy. “I guess I’ll be seeing you soon Mr. Styles! I love you” I was so excited. How can the worst day of your life have a happy ending? “I love you more babe, be prepared for a crazy experience in London!” I laughed and we hung up.
I snuck into Nico’s room and slept next to him. I felt awful that I was going to be leaving him, but one day he will find the right girl and understand why I have to leave. Sleeping next to him made me feel safe. I kissed him and fell asleep. Thinking not of Aaron but of Harry.
