The Return of the Avengers

The director's office was in chaos. Papers flying everywhere and voices raised and yelling. Folders laid open strewn across the desk.
“This team is totally unacceptable!” Director Coulson yelled at Agent Z who sat quietly and unconcerned in an armchair by the desk.
“I told you to put together a team of highly trained professionals for this job. You give me a team of kids.” Coulson said trying to reason with Agent Z.
“You told me to put together a team worthy of being Avengers.” Z remarked.
“Harry Barton is the only one on here who is an agent. Zayn Stark is a delinquent. Thor has banned us from approaching his son. The others are untrained and putting the Rodgers girl on the team will be a disaster.” Coulson explained.
“Then why did you put their files on my desk?” Z asked quietly.
Coulson looked taken aback. Z knew that in his younger days Coulson had taken a lot of risks and broken a lot of rules. Z was hoping that Coulson would see that the risk outweighed the danger and approve the team.
Coulson sat thinking for a minute for deflating slightly.
“You have a month. If they aren’t ready in a month I am putting together a team of professionals and your position will be in doubt.” Coulson said with a warning.
Z smiled slightly before getting up.
“Agent Z.” Coulson said when Z started walking away.
“The only change is the Rodgers girl is off the team. It’s too dangerous.”
Z narrowed his eyes slightly.
“We need her.”
Coulson slumped even more. “One month and any problems are on your head.”
Agent Z took this as consent and left the office whistling an uptempo tune.

I know I started this story forever ago but when I started it I had some ideas but they wouldn't fit together right....well.....I think I figured it out :) so I'm gonna retry this!
