Chapter 3
I slowly turned around starring strait into Alex’s eyes the entire time. Brayden practically stalks me and I see him just about everywhere. He scares me out of my mind.
“Ummmm…Hi, Brayden.” I said scared what he was going to do next.
“I haven’t seen you in so long babe! How have you been? We need to plan a date soon.”
Ha. This idiot still thinks we are dating!
“Well, first off I’m not your ‘babe’. I broke up with you like 2 months ago. Second, I’ve been perfectly fine without you. Third, no I will not go on a date with you. And fourth, I’m leaving now goodbye Brayden.” I said basically said shaking the entire time.
You see Brayden isn’t scared to hurt me and my family to get me to his. He’s tried to kidnap me, hurt my family, before they moved to the United States that is, and he even tried to kill Natalie, Paige, and Onna. He’s a little bitch.
I grabbed some of the boy’s carry-ons, Harry wrapped his arm around me and we walked out. I could feel Brayden’s eyes burning into by back but I just ignored. I was going home with my best friend that is all that matters to me right now. We got to my car and the ride home was pretty awkward so I’ll just skip that part.
When we got home it was already 5 o’clock. We kind of stopped at Nandos and spent like 3 hours catching up with things. I told him more about Brayden and I could tell by the look in his eyes that he wanted to pound the shit out of him.
When we finally got back to my house after saying hi to Anne and Gemma I showed they boys the house and the upstairs.
“Okay guys, listen up these are the sleeping arrangements. First is my room, see it has a pretty K on it for Kourtney. Second is Liam’s room it has a pretty L with a P inside it for Payne. Third is Harry’s room, it has a pretty H. Fourth is Niall’s room with a pretty N. Fifth is Zayn’s room. See the pretty Z? Sixth is Louis room with a pretty L with a T inside of it for Tomlinson. Lastly is the extra room where guests can sleep. Or my brother….” I said whispering the last part.
Oh, I almost forgot each bedroom has a bathroom. Got it?” I said still slightly depressed by the memory that I haven’t seen Kendall, My twin brother in like 5 years.
“Yes, got it. And Kourtney, What did you say about your brother?” Liam asked
“Oh, its just…um.. I have a twin brother named Kendall who I haven’t seen in about 5 years because my parents forced him to move to the United States with them while he begged to stay in the UK with me. He basically kept me from killing myself.” I said bursting into tears.
Next thing I know Liam engulfed me in a hug and I instantly felt a little better.
“Well I’m going to bed. See you guys in the morning.”
All the boys said their goodnights and I was off.
It took me a while to fall asleep and as soon as I did woke right back up because a thunderstorm was going on. I am deathly afraid of them. I curled under my blankets and tried not to cry. Kendall always comforted me during storms. He was the only one who cared besides Harry. Next thing I know I felt the other side of my bed dip. I slowly peeked out of the covers and looked up and saw Liam.
“Hello love, sorry to bother you but I heard you screaming. Are you ok?” He asked.
“Hi and sorry about that Liam, I’m just afraid of thunderstorms.” I said looking down.
“It’s fine. Here I’ll stay here until you fall asleep.”
Next thing I know Liam is crawling into my bed. After he gets comfortable he gently grabs me by the waste and pulls me next to him. I feel instantly better. Another crash of thunder comes and I jump. Liam quiets me and starts singing.
