"Niall you have got to fucking chill or I'm going to panic and that's fuckin horrible for the baby. Now turn here," I said when we hit my parent place. Like I said I need my mommy. Call me a baby but laboratory a bitch and I did it with her last time and I need her. Judging by the look on Ni's face I scared the shot out of him, well what was left and then some! We pulled up and I opened the door getting out as fast as a fat ass pregnant lady can! I bent over gripping the car door for support as another contraction hit. After about thirty seconds it was over and I was still trying to catch my breath. When I was ok I stood up straight and walked through the door, "mommy!!!" I screamed at the top if my lungs.
"Hey baby girl! In the kitchen!" She exclaimed I knew I smelt cookies. i walked in and sat on a bar stool and braced my self between Niall and the counter a I panted. Holy hell I feel like shit. Again a contraction hit.
"Shh sky, I'm here baby I've got you. Your doing so good baby. I love you. Breath babe. I'm here I wish I could take the pain away and do it for you," Niall talked softly as I made my way through yet another contraction.
"Skylar, please tell me you aren't sitting in my kitchen eating a cookie when your seven months pregnant and in damn labor!" My moms voice elevated as she spoke her sentence. I put down my cookie.
"Not eating my cookie," I breathed as a stabbing pain came from... Down there...
"Damn it Skylar! Do t ou know this happened with Alex! Even if he was full teen? I thought you'd know better now! How far apart are the contractions? And how long have you been havin pain? Damn it Skylar! The damned hospital is a good fucking two hours with good traffic!" wow I've never heared my mom say the f word! And she says were all impure when we use it!
"I've been having pain since around midnight last night," when I said that both her and Ni's gazes grew harder. Damn t! I'm the one in pain! They should be supportive of me by now! "And try are well three and a half minutes apar-" and once again it hit. This time so fucking hard I bent over and the wind was kicked straight the hell out of me.
"Skylar Jayden Horan! I could kick your damn ass right now! I smiled even though she was chewing me out. This was te first time I had been called 'Skylar Jayden Horan' by someone besides me. Even if it wasn't true for a while yet it felt right. Niall smiled too.
"Baby. Why didn't you tell me! I feel damn horrid for pushing everyone on you!" Niall spoke low but I could still tell he was pissed. He looked hurt that is hid it from him.
"Baby when I woke you up you told me, 'Al will only make me come get you, your should probably just go to start with," and then drifted off to sleep," my voice strangled at the end as another contraction hit.
"Baby girl, they are now two minutes and fifty seven seconds apart. Your not going to make it your going to have to deliver here. Again," Niall looked shocked but shook it off when he got orders to call his mom and have her come over too.
"Hey darling! I didn't know you were here! Would have come to say hi sooner! Wait a mintute I know that face Skylar I know that fucking face. Your I damned labor again aren't you!" It was more of a statement than a question. Whoops pissed him off... I did promise him last time I wouldn't wait this long. Oh fuck I don't give a fuck! I walked to my moms office and pulled out a cot putting sheets. Shit I hate this god damned thing! After I had Al my neck hurt for a week after.
"Niall. Call an ambulance and tell then the situation. Put it on speaker and use the phone at my desk," he nodded practically running over to the desk. Soon a soft woman's voice filled the room and she spoke to Niall. i pulled out my phone remembering something Anna told me awhile ago.
"Hello?" Her voice answered cherry.
"Anna? I'm in early labor and contractions are two mintutez apart. I knew you used to be a labor and delivery nurse before you had Jessica and decided to stay at home. I'm at my moms-" I was cut off by a sharp pain and I heard Anna say she was on her way. My mom took the phone and told her to drop the kids off at my house so Niall's family had plenty of babies to love. Soon I heard the front door open and shit and someone coming up the stairs. Thank god! Anna walked in smiling and calm. She handed me a pink hospital like how and. Told me to strip and change. Way to get to the point there Ana! I smile and obliged, I just dressed where I was because Anna was a nurse, Niall had OBViOUSLY seen me naked and my mommy was my mommy. She sat the cot up and had me sit and then put on some glove talking to the operator telling her I was dialated all to he way and she was going to have me start pushing. Niall came Iand held on to my hand. I looked up and saw Niall was as freaked as I was. In came Niall's mom and she just took a picture. Of our faces! And laughed at our faces. She spoke in her thick Irish accent.
"Sky? When I count to three your going to push with all your night okay? I'm going to count to ten and then your goin to breath time I count to five and then push okay? That's how we are going to get through this. Ready? One. Two. Three. Push!" I pushed hard and gave it all my might, shit Thai hurts! As bad as last time! Damn it! I yelled out and I'm pretty sure Niall squeezed m hand more than I squeezed his. She said to breath and that's just what I did. I pushed and breathed I did this pattern six times.
"Ok Skylar! I want you to really push if you push with everything this little one will be out ok? Ready? Push!" And I did just that. My mom took Niall's spot and I squeezed and Niall watched as out son came out.
"Holy shit Skylar! I could fucking die watching this. Fuck! Your sting baby! Holy shit! Does that hurt?" His question was followed by a round of head slaps and I had to laugh a little. Then I heard it a small little cry so diligent yet quite.
"Skylar. You've got another baby boy!" Ana squealed in delight. Niall but the cord.
"Skylar he's beautiful! And that cord thing? Yeah it's spongey.. I laughed and Anna wrapped a pink little itty bitty four pound five ounce ten inch baby on my chest and his screamed calmed as he fell asleep. Holy shit it still hurts down there. We have a son. Welcome baby boy Joshua Michael Horan.
