The Wall Flower

--Carrie’s POV:

The judges say the results and my heart drops. I look on the monitor that’s back stage and see all 5 boys looking in disbelief at each other, none of them really knowing how to react. I look at all their families, all of them showing the same expression. As if people didn’t know how to react before, they looked even more confused when Simon started walking to the stage.

“Hold it,” Says Simon finally reaching the center of the stage next to Liam. “This may be the end of the X Factor for the boys, but they aren’t done yet. I’m signing One Direction to SyCo.”

Screams. Screams fill the air, mine are among them after the words left Simon’s mouth. The boys run backstage, and I wait for Harry to hug his family before jumping into his arms, and ruffling his hair, still able to tell him how proud I am of him. they made it. my 5 best friends had finally made it. Though joy is running all through my body, I still can’t help to feel a little disappointed.


But that was three years ago.
