Chapter 1
Ema'sPOV
i was going downstairs to my dad's room to get my phone.
I saw the he was watching the chargers game, and I saw that my dad was drunk and mad.
i saw that my phone was at the other side of the room.
I went to go get it until I tripped on the plug that was the tv, and it soot off.
"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT " he yelled
"I'm sorry" I said while getting up
"SORRY DOES'NT FIXS IT"he yells again
"all you have to do is plug it back in" I said and I knew I'm going to get a hit in the face
"ARE YOU TALKING BACK TO ME" he yells
then he grabbed me by my hair into the kitchen.
"YOU BITCH" *punch*
"WORTHLESS BITCH" *punch* at that point I was on the ground
"IT SOULD OF BEEN YOU" * kick*
"NOT YOUR MOM" *kick*
"OR HALEY" *kick*
"FUCK YOU" *kick*
then he stopped kicking me and punching me.
i was still on the floor for about 10min.
then I decided to go upstairs to my room. I went into my bathroom to find my bald to cut.
"bitch" *cut*
"worthless piece of shit" *cut*
"it should of been you" *cut*
"not mom" *cut*
"not Haley" *cut*
"YOU" *cut
when I finally got myself to stop cutting. I decided to take a shower.
when I was taking my clothes off I started to cry cause I started to think of Haley (my sister).
i really miss her, she was the only one that was nice to me and never hit me unlike my mom and dad. I missed how we laugh together, her smile, her jokes, just really everything about her I miss.
But I was not crying for my mom, cause she also sometime hit me for the little things just like my dad. And when my dad would hit me my mom would never doing anything, it was always Haley who did something.
when I was done taking a shower I put some shorts and. Big top to sleep in.
when I went to bed and cried my self to sleep cause I was thinking of Haley and how my dad abuses me.

i woke up with a pain In my cheek, and then I remembered what happened yesterday with me and my dad.
i got up took a 20min shower. And when I got out of the shower I saw my cheek it had a huge purple bruise on it, then I looked at my stomach it had a huge purple bruise in the middle.then I looked at the time that I realized that I was going to be late to school.
i got out of the bathroom and went to my closet to get something to wear.
i decide to wear a blueish green top that shows my belly button, but not as much to show my stomach with my huge bruise, with white high wasted shorts, and white high top converses.
i went down stairs to see my dad knocked out with a beer bottle in his hand on the couch.
i quietly got a apple out of the fridge. And then left to go to school. Sense Harry live up my hill, I go pick him up and we walk to school together.
when I got to his house I texted him to come outside when I got his text back he was already coming outside of his house.
he looked at me all worried and I looked at home all confused
"OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU" he said while pointing at my cheek
and that's when I realized that I didn't put any makeup on my cheek
"Uhhhh..........Ummmmm....I don't know" I said while looking away
"DID YOUR DAD HIT YOU AGIAN" he asked
"yeah" I said while looking away
"AND ARE THOSE NEW CUTS" he said loudly
"SHHHH..... And maybe" I said
"maybe, Ema please stop cutting, for me, for lily, for jasmine, and the boys. most impotently for Haley. She wouldn't like to see those on you." He said
"I'll try but no promises" I said
we finally got to school and I was hoping that lily,jasmine,Niall,Zayn, or Liam wouldn't sees my bruise on my cheek But they did.
"OH MY GOD EMA WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU" lily says
"did your dad hit you agian" zayn asked
"yeah" I said
"he needs to stop hitting you Ema" Niall said
"yeah, if he keeps on hitting you your going to get a broken jaw" Liam said
"I don't think he's going to stop cause he's always drunk" I said
"why don't you just leave him" lily said
" last time I just left to go to Starbucks he thought I was running away, then he saw me walking back home, he took me home and started hitting me"
"do you have something to cover this up" I asked lily
"ya, let's go to the bathroom" lily said
we started to walk to the bathroom, but then I saw a boy looking at me by his locker all alone. He's really cute.when he say me looking at him he looked away really fast, I have to admit that he looked really cute when he did that.
then me and lily walked in the bathroom.
Louis POV
i woke and toke a shower and got dressed.
i went down stairs to see there's nobody up yet. So I just took a apple for breakfast.
Sense I live close to the school I started to walk to school. I saw a girl walking up the hill and she looked really pretty from the back of her, and then she disappeared somewhere.
when I got to school I went the front office to get my class.
When I got my classes. I went to my locker to put my books away,but my math cause I have that for 1st period.
when I was done putting my books away I saw the girl that was walking to school with I'm guessing a friend. I saw a big bruise on her cheek, and it was HUGE, you could see it a mile away,I wonder how she got it. Then she say me staring at her, so I panicked and looked away quickly hoping see didn't see.
after a few minutes they both came out. And I could tell she went in the bathroom to put makeup on her bruise cause I didn't see the bruise on her cheek anymore.
i saw them go to there friends.
there was a curly one, blonde one, a guy with black hair, one with brown hair, and another girl that has black hair, and
I heard that the curly haired one and the girl that I saw walking to school has math first period like me.
then the bell rang so I went to math. I came into the class I told the teacher that I was new, he told me ok and to stand there. I saw all the kids come into class, and they all looked me and new that I was new.
class as started and I keep looking at that curly hair kid and the girl with the bruise.
"HARRY" the girl that I saw with the bruise yells to him
"WHAT EMA" he say to ema
So that's his name 'Harry'
and her name is 'Ema'
"Hello class we have a new student Louis" The teacher says to the class
"HI LOUIS"Ema said. And i new she was a funny girl,and a popular girl. then I just gave her a little smile
"you can sit next to Ema" the teacher said, I just acted like I didn't know who was Ema so I just asked who was Ema then she raised her hand and when she raised her hand I could see cuts on her wrist. Even I don't know her I could fell tears coming out. She was talking to a guy and it looked like they were flirty,I'm guessing that's her boyfriend.
when I sat down she said
"Hi I'm Ema"
