After the concert, I stayed back with the boys for a few hours, with Liam always hovering near me. We all talked light-heartedly and joked around about our romantic lives.

“Nando’s” is my one and only”, Niall said, while Zayn and Louis talked proudly about their girlfriends, Perrie and Eleanor. Apparently, Harry was the only single guy at the time, due to his self-stated cheekiness.

We took a black car with dark tinted windows back to their hotel, which was somewhere on the outskirts of the city.

“Hey babe, do you want to stay over?” he said, unsure what my answer would be. “I’ll have to check with my parents, but I would love to” I replied. I still could not believe that someone could be this lucky in a lifetime.

Liam, the boys, and Jake with a few managers took the elevator to the penthouse floor, where we parted to go to bed, in separate rooms. Liam said that he needed to take care of some things for a few minutes, and suggested that I check in with my parents. “Hi sweetie” mum answered the phone. “Hi mum!” I squealed. I blabbered on for what felt like forever, recounting every little detail of the day.

“I really like him” I concluded, “but I don’t know what’s going to happen when he needs to leave for the rest of the tour”. “Discuss it with him,” she suggested. “Ok mum, thanks for talking to me, and letting me stay here tonight!” I hung up the phone and plonked myself down on the bed, kicking off my shoes. Liam returned and laid down beside me.

“Hey babe” he said, with a hint of intentional seductiveness. I leaned in closer to him and gave him a slow and sweet kiss. “I was thinking” I started, as he wrapped his arm around me. “You are a part of an internationally famous band. You have girls literally throwing themselves at you. And you are going away soon, to other countries for your shows. How are we going to survive?”

“My darling” Liam said gently. “We have to be with each other – here, now, in the present. Yes I will need to go, but I will always come back for you. I promise. If we don’t tell the public about us, we wont have to care what they think. Its just you and me. I am yours and you and you are mine”. He sealed his vow with another kiss – this one more messy and urgent than the last. I rolled on top of him, sitting up and pulling him with me. I entwined my fingers in his hair while he did the same. He traced my neck, ears and jawline with his lips, as I rolled my head back, enjoying every moment.

As he had this afternoon, he bit softly on my lips and opened them with his tongue. We continued this until he started to place his hands on my thigh, inching forward with every rapid kiss.
I could feel my dress being pulled back, when I stopped him. Any girl would think I was crazy, turning down sex with Liam Payne, but I did not want it to happen like this. “Liam, stop, please”. “What?” he panted, looking into my eyes. “Not yet” I replied hastily.

“There are people in the other rooms. I can’t do this until we’re alone and the tour is over”. I felt like he only wanted me now because he would soon be gone, flying to another city, far away. “Ok, beautiful” he said. “Thanks for understanding, and I’m sorry” I regretfully said. “Don’t be sorry, my darling, Im the one who should be apologising”. “It’s ok” I said. I unattached myself from his body and gave him one last kiss.

I walked into the kitchen to get a drink of water to sober up my racing mind.
I jumped onto the counter and sat down, letting my legs dangle like a child’s. There I sat for a few minutes, thinking about the day that had so quickly come and gone. Liam was mine. All mine. There was no words to describe my euphoria.

I let tiredness overcome me and was about to leave to go to bed, when I heard a familiar rough voice emerge from the shadows.
