The following morning I was in a haze. What happened last night? Again, I questioned over and over if it was true. Liam Payne? What?! He actually thought I was good looking.

I spent the Saturday drooling over photos of Liam and looking for ideas for my hair and clothes. I eventually decided on a knee-length flowy dress with some cute nude wedges and a messy side braid.

The excitement that was building in my stomach all day was released when I arrived at the theatre and walked through the back doors. It was pretty busy with countless crew members setting up lights and doing sound checks for tonight’s concert.

Jake led me through a long corridor and we were turning around a corner when time slowed. There he was. Liam. He smiled and stared into my eyes, the same way he did last night, as he walked towards me. My heart was pounding and it felt that at any minute I was going to faint.

When he reached me, eyes never leaving mine, held my hand, lifted it up to his face and gently kissed it with warm, soft lips. “Hi”, he said.
