Harry POV
‘What the hell happened Lou?’ I ask Lou after Katy left with Jess. ‘Like Kate said Jessie called Kate and told to pick her up and when we did she was just like that.’ Lou answered. I run my fingers through my hair and nodded. What the hell happened to Jess? Who did this? I swear I’ll kill whoever did this to her. ‘Who’s Jake?’ I asked as I remember Katy said. ‘I don’t know. Probably her boyfriend.’ Lou said. Her boyfriend? She had a boyfriend? Ok I need to talk to Katy. ‘I’m going to see if she’s ok now.’ I said and got up walking towards my sister’s room.
Louis POV
After harry left Liam and Zayn went to their room leaving me and Niall alone. That’s when I realize I didn’t even talk to Niall since the day we came here. That’s like 2 or 3 days. I look at Niall who is staring at me. Probably angry. ‘Hey.’ I said. ‘Hey? That’s all you can say Louis? What the hell is your problem?’ He said angrily. ‘What did I do?’ ‘What did you do? You know I like Katelyn but still you have to run after her. Why her? Why Lou?’ He said and I looked at him sadly. It hurt me to do this to him. Niall is one of my best mates and doing this to him makes me feel really guilty. ‘Because I like her too Niall.’ I said and he looked at me like I was crazy. ‘Lou you do know you have a girlfriend right?’ ‘I had a girlfriend Niall. I had.’ I said and he got confused. ‘What? What are you talking about?’ ‘El and I broke up a day before we were coming here. Only Liam knows about it and I am going to tell it to everyone in a few days.’ I said quietly and he looked at me sadly. ‘I’m so sorry Lou.’ ‘Yeah. We weren’t just meant to be I guess.’ ‘Why did you guys break up?’ ‘She felt that we were drifting apart. I was busy with the album and she was busy modeling and studying. So she said that it wasn’t working out and we should break up.’ I said quietly and Niall came and hugged me. Many people may think its weird but no it isn’t. I really did love Eleanor just not anymore and even though Niall and I are fighting over a girl he’s still my best mate and I would always be there for him when he needed me and he would be there for me. ‘Sorry mate.’ ‘Yeah.’ I said and he looks at me ‘But why her?’ He asked again. ‘I don’t know Niall but all I know is that I’m crazy for her and I think she likes me too.’
Niall POV
As soon as Lou said that I took a step back. What the fuck? No she can’t. I won’t. I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine. ‘No. I’m sorry Lou. I can’t let you have her. I won’t. I’ll fight for her.’ I said and he stares at me. ‘Fine it’s on. She’ll choose who she wants to be with Horan. I’ll win her. I promise that.’ Lou vowed ‘And I promise that I’ll never let her be yours Lou.’ I promised too and he smirked. I know that the chances of me winning are very less compared to Louis. She basically acts like him so you can tell they’ll be getting along. I have to do something.
Louis POV
Who does he think he’s kidding? Him and her? Never happening while I’m alive. I know that she likes me. I have a head start. I need to see what she’s doing. I walk away from Niall towards Kate’s room. I knock before entering and see that Jessie is sleeping and Kate is sitting beside her. 'Hey.' I whispered as I walk inside the room. 'Hi.' She whispered and smiled at me. 'How's she?' I ask as I sit beside her. 'She's ok. I guess.' She said and looks at Jessie who's sleeping peacefully. Kate looked as if she was going to cry. 'Hey it's ok. She's fine.' I said and hugged her as she started to cry. 'I d-don't kn-know what to d-do Lou. She's m-my best friend. She was barely t-talking tonight. She n-never like that.' She sobbed as I held her. 'She's gonna be ok. She's gonna be fine.' I cooed. I looked at her and saw her eyes were red and puffy but she still looked like the most beautiful girl in the whole world. 'How do you know that she's going to be ok?' She asked me. 'Because she has you. Your her best friend no one knows her like you do.' I said to her. It's true. No one knows you like your best friend does. 'You always say things to make me feel better.' She says smiling at me. 'Theres that smile and obviously princess you can count me to make you feel better when you feel bad.' I reply smiling back. There is nothing better than her smile in the whole world. 'Thanks Lou.' She said and hugged me.
Kate POV
I hugged Lou and I felt... I don't know...safe? I think. 'I want to change the deal.' He says and I looked at him confused. What deal? 'What deal?' 'The football deal.' He replied smirking. Again with that smirk. Oh the football deal. 'What do you want to change?' I ask. 'I'll be your slave for 2 days if...' He trailed off. 'If?' I motioned him to continue. 'If you'll kiss me and go on a date with me.' He said and I stared at him. Did he just ask me out? Like on a date? 'If you are brave enough.' He said still smirking. Did he just imply that I was a coward? Oh he's on! 'Fine. Deal on.' I said because I was going to win. 'Great. The games tomorrow.' He said and got up. Wait...what! 'What?!' I asked alarmed. 'Yeah. Tomorrow the sooner the better.' He said and walked out. 2 days. I've only known him for 2 fucking days and now if he wins the game I'll have to kiss him and go out with him. Oh god! What did I get myself into? I change into my PJs and lay down beside Jess soon falling into a deep sleep thinking about tomorrow.
