The Wanted Girl

I had officially made it through the first half of the concert. There were three songs left but before that, twitter questions from the fans. Apparently the fans loved it so much last tour that now they had to answer five questions instead of three. The boys were huddled in a circle, probably talking absolute rubbish, and the girls were going INSANE!

"Okay okay sorry!! We're ready!" Harry said, grinning into the mic. To say he was in his element was a total understatement.

The question popped up on the big screen and Niall read it aloud, "What is your favorite song to perform on this album."

Louis lifted up his mic, "Strong is mine."

"Why Lou?" Liam asked grinning.

"Because I wrote it for a very special person and it'll always be a reminder of some of my favorite memories."

The crowd started chanting "LARRY" and I began dying of laughter. In an attempt to get my attention, they all thought it was about Harry. Cute.

"Next question! Who is single?" Liam read.

All five boys raised their hands. I've never stood directly behind a jet.. but I imagined it sounded much like that. The screams were SO ear piercing, everyone, including the crew and the boys, were covering their ears. It went on for a full 3 minutes before Niall intervened.

"Alright alright! This one is for Harry, what do you look for in a girl?"

Harry smiled and looked over to Brielle on the other end of the stage, who was COMPLETELY oblivious, "I'd say a girl who treats me like a normal person. Nice, funny, a little sass is always good. Just someone who I can be myself around and someone who can be themselves around me."

A chorus of 'awe's went around and it even warmed my frozen heart a bit.

"Okay, Louis why did you and Sophia break..." Liam stopped reading the question and realized it was completely inappropriate.

My heart sank. How could he answer this to them when I haven't even been able to answer this to him? It's been less than 24 fucking hours.

"No it's alright. Sophia is a very important person in my life. Whether or not were together really doesn't change that. Other than that, I can't really answer that question."

He gave a small smile and the crowd 'awe'd. It wasn't like an 'awe so sweet', more of a 'awe poor Louis did the big bad Sophie hurt you?! WANT US TO KILL HER?!' Yeah, more like that.

"And the last one is for Liam here! You've been noted now as the hottest member of the band, what do you think of that?" Louis grinned.

The smile on Liam's face was contagious. He deserved this attention.

"It's... It's really quite strange actually. I'm shocked Zayn's bone structure alone hasn't knocked me out of that category!" He playfully hit Zayn's jaw.

"No but on a serious note, it's very flattering and definitely a confidence boost."



"Final song of the night! This is one of our dearest friends favorite songs and she's here so Sophia, this ones for you!" Zayn pointed over at me and grinned as Little White Lies began to play.


This WAS my favorite song. It showed their range and diversity. I'd only heard it twice before the album was released but I found myself humming it constantly. The boys loved to sing it and everyone else loved to listen to it. It showed why they love this job so much. Why I loved MY job so much. These boys were clearly right where they were meant to be. And whether or not I ended up with Louis, or Zayn, or Nathan, or anyone, for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was where I belonged. That's important.
