The Wanted Girl

Chapter Two

The concert went well, the boys were amazing, the crowd was so loud, everything was good. I went back to the dressing rooms to pack up and break down the make shift rooms, held together by pipes and black curtains. I packed away my blowdryer and at least 25 different hair products used to style the completely different hair types. I grabbed the "man powder" (stage makeup) and packed it in as well. After about 25 minutes, I was completely packed and ready to move on to the next city. I changed into my dress and heels and added some light liner for the club.

"Hey guys, where's my brother?" I asked the security guards.

"They left like 10 minutes ago with a couple of girls. Said they were headed to a club?" Alex responded.

Of course. They ditched me. I wasn't mad, but I can't say I wasn't a little disappointed. I thanked them and took off my heels before walking to the car.

"Hey Sophie!" Alex called after me.

"Yes?!" I asked, trying to maintain my happy mood.

"You look great, whoever you're going to meet is quite lucky!" I smiled graciously before getting in my car. I don't want to go out. I just want to go to sleep.

I got back to the hotel and climbed into bed. I hate this. I hate feeling okay for a couple of hours then feeling like shit for days. I need to get a fucking grip. After about 20 minutes of self realization, I decided to go to the diner down the road for a midnight snack. Plus, the white noise in the background is my favorite setting for reading. I took off my dress and threw on my yoga pants and gym tshirt from high school. I walked out of the hotel and smiled at the doorman and security guard.

"Going for a walk?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm headed to the diner down the block, I'll be back in a while," I responded.

"Want me to send someone with you?"

"Oh no, I'm good."

I walked into the diner and slid into the corner book.

"Hello dear what can I get for ya?" The older waitress asked.

"Just a tea, thanks," She nodded and walked away.

I've been reading this book 'Confessions of the Populars' and I'm pretty into it. It's about a guy in highschool who sort of blends in but has two very popular sisters. The main character, Josh, reminds me a lot of myself. He talks about all of the parties and cool things his sister gets to do but explains the bad things that come along with it. People will invite him places and say 'only if you bring your sisters'. It's not like I think everyone who wants to be my friend just wants to meet Max (honestly, I don't think many of them know he even HAS a sister), but sometimes it feels that way.

The waitress brought my tea and walked away and I saw 5 rowdy boys in beanies and sunglasses pile in the booth next to me. Why they would be wearing sunglasses at night? No idea. Probably because their total douchebags. I rolled my eyes and continued reading.

"Hey you!" one of the boys shouted.

I turn my head and said in my most annoyed voice, "What?!"

"Can I steal your sugars? We don't have any."

Let me remind you, there is about thirty booths in here and we are the only two parties in the entire diner. Instead of getting his lazy ass up and grabbing one of the others, he insisted on taking MINE.

"Sure, why not," I grabbed the packet and leaned over to hand them to him. I made eye contact with the blue eyed boy and laughed. LITERALLY laughed out loud.

"Louis Tomlinson, what are the chances," I rolled my eyes and went back to reading.

I could hear them whispering about something but couldn't make out exactly what was being said.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and spun around.

"WHAT!" I said, even more aggravated.

"Hey we can sign something for you if you'd like, but could you not tell anyone were here?" Liam asked.

I began laughing uncontrollably.

"I don't want you to sign anything, trust me. I don't care."

I turned back around to my book and read for another 15 minutes or so before I could hear their conversation a little too clearly. They were talking shit about my brother and the boys. Saying things I am SURE they wouldn't want them to hear. I tried to mind my own business, I really did. But what Zayn said next pushed me over the edge.

"I'd love to call that little arse Max and bring him here so I could beat the shit out of him."

I scoffed and got up, grabbing my book and walking over to his table. I put my finger in his face, "I'd be careful saying that if I were you. I can get him here right now if you really want."

It came out sounding like a warning, but it was more of a promise. I guarantee my drunk brother would love to fight someone right now.

Zayn looked at Louis and laughed, "Ahh so we have a Wanted fan!" He said, as if fitting all of the pieces together.

"I'm his little sister," I hissed before I turned around and walked out.

I was half way down the street before I heard someone calling after me.

"Hey!!! George!!!" I turned around to see the irish one running towards me.

"Yes?" I said in the most polite voice I could come up with. He hadn't involved himself in their drama so I have no reason to be rude to him.. yet.

"You left this on the table," He handed me my phone.

"Shit.. thanks mate. Would have been dead if I lost it."

He smiled, "I know the feeling. I leave my phone everywhere. Hey, what are you up to right now?"

"Oh uh.. I have to get back to the hotel, we're leaving for Belfast tomorrow and I need to pack."

He nodded, "You with your brother the entire tour?"

"Yup. I'm their hair stylist actually. I just graduated from beauty school last year and decided I wanted to take a year to travel. They offered me the job, and now I'm here."

"That's sick. Max is lucky he gets to see you everyday," I never thought about it like that. The other boys don't get to see their siblings like EVER.

"Yeah. I'm thankful I can be here," There was a moment of awkward silence before I spoke, "Um well I gotta get going..."

He extended his hand, "Niall."

"Sophia."

"Well Sophia, it was nice to meet you."

I smiled and walked back to the hotel.

When I got off of the elevator, all of the boys were pacing frantically yelling on their phones.

"I DON'T CARE IF LEGALLY SHE'S AN ADULT, SHE'S MY BABY SISTER. FIND HER NOW," Max screamed.

"Uh.. hey guys?" I said.

Everyones head shot over in my direction and Jay picked me up, spinning me around. "SOPH!! We were so worried! Where were you?!" He asked.

I pushed myself off of him and leaned up against the wall, crossing my arms. "I went to the diner to read, you all went to the club without me. I've been gone like an hour, why are you back already?"

"An hour?! Sophia it's 2 am.." Max scolded.

I looked at my phone at sure enough, it was 2:16 AM. "Oh uh.. I must've lost track of time. Sorry guys."

I tried to walk into my room but max intercepted, wrapping me into a tight hug, "I was freaking out. I'm sorry we left you here."

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder, "It's okay, love you."

"Love you too."

I went into my room and finished packing my things.

I heard a knock at my door, "Come in!" I yelled.

Nathan walked in and climbed into my bed. "Siva is snoring again, can I crash with you?" He pleaded.

He was already under the covers and cuddled up with my childhood bear, "Why not."

I climbed in after him and he wrapped his arm around my waist, playing with my hair. "Where'd you go tonight?" He asked.

"Oh uh.. just to the diner down the street. You'll never guess who I saw there."

"Who?"

"Zayn malik, Louis Tomlinson, and the rest of the gang. I like the blonde one, he seems nice."

"Sophie, your brother will skin all of them alive... That's a bad idea."

I rolled my eyes, "Nathan, I SAW them. I told them who I was then walked away. I left my phone so Niall came and brought it back to me. That's it."

He pulled me closer and I smiled.

"I know love. Let's go to bed, we have an early morning tomorrow."

I contemplated arguing his theory. Considering I knew the only reason he wasn't saying what he was thinking was because he was exhausted from being out, without me. But I didn't feel like ruining the moment of Nathan cuddled up to me. So I kept my mouth shut.

"Okay. Goodnight Nathan."

"Night Soph."

@RealityRuinedMyLifeBCKUP
I just realized I said the same thing as everyone else but yea. I guess that's the main idea that's being thrown around here.

@RealityRuinedMyLifeBCKUP
I was wondering why you haven't updated in a while. But it really sucks that you've lost your account. I think the best option here is to just maybe rewrite the story on your new account. Or just continue it without rewriting, like a sequel.

@RealityRuinedMyLifeBCKUP

Awwww Elle!! That's awful that happened! I've been missing your story too! I think @HeyItsGabi has a good idea. Start the sequel in the new account and refer back because you were doing a sequel anyhow. Then I don't have to be deprived anymore (and as we all know it's all about me anyhow lol). So glad you are back!!!

I say you should start a new story and say it is the sequel then just put the link to the first seventy seven chapters in the description.
