What The Papers Don't Say
Have It Your Way
" This is going to be so much fun ! " I squealed as Harry turned the car engine on.
" You know, the only bad part in all of this is that Caroline is going to be there." He told.
" Oh don't be such a party pooper ! It's David Beckham's party. Hottest man alive. Have you seen him shirtless ? I swear my poor ovaries have been through so much." I joked.
" Hottest man alive ? Did you forget who you're dating ?" His eyes widened in surprise.
" And did you forget who we're talking about right now ? " I scoffed.
" I'm hotter and you know it." His eyes glistering against the shiny bright night lights.
" Chill. How does it feel like to be in my shoes now ?" I asked adjusting my mask.
" What ? Teasing ? If you think that's teasing, you have a long way to go babe." He childishly winked at me.
" You bastard." I shook my head in disapprovement.
" At least its Flack not tay swift." He corrected.
" True. God was she obsessed ! Children and marriage ?"
" Tell me about it. Who dates a person for almost three weeks and starts planning their future with them ?"
" Apparently, her."
" Well. I see you, a house, two kids, and a ring on both of our fingers in my future." His hand reached for mine taking hold of it.
" Right." I trailed off looking in the opposite direction.
" What do you mean right ?" His eyebrows fickled.
" You don't see me in your future." Harry answered his own question.
" No no no no no no no." I corrected." I see you in my future. And the house, and the kids and everything. Just not the ring part." I continued.
" I still don't get what you mean exactly." His face shot an expression of confusion.
" I wanna get married. Just not legally." I answered.
" Why ? If you wanna be together forever then might as well make it official."
" I don't need a piece of paper to prove how much I love or want to be with someone !"
" Why not ?"
" Because !"
" No ! Answer me, Bell !"
" Just drop it." I avoided eye contact.
" No."
" Harry, Seriously."
" No. Talk to me, right now." I felt the car park at some random alley.
" Please don't get me started."
" Well, I just did."
" I'm done." I whispered loudly enough for only him to comprehend as I made my out.
" No you're not ! Why do you always run away from things ? Why is it so hard for you to not act like such a bitch about everything ?" He soon followed behind.
" I'm the bitch now ? Excuse me for not wanting to hurt your feelings. But if we're going to be honest, at least I didn't sleep with half of London when I was only eighteen." I waved my hands around.
" Fine then. Have it your way." He raised his handsup as if saying 'I give up' as he walked back to the car.
" Good." I yelled.
" Well aren't you going to come back in ?" He rolled down the window.
" Why the fuck do you care now ?"
" It's cold outside and you don't have a ride. "
" So why don't you let the bitch do what she does best, find her way out of everything." I hissed with an eye roll.
" Keep rolling those eyes,Bell. Maybe some day you'll find a brain back there." He replied with eyes a shade darker than usual.
" You know where to find me tonight." He rolled the window up as I watched the back car lights fade leaving me standing in the chill breeze of practically the middle of nowhere.
