The Beast
Chapter 4.
My eyes fluttered open and I noticed that I am in a soft, warm bed. Wait....How am I still alive? Did I dream all of this?
"Hello?" I hollared.
I heard people talking excitedly and then I heard shushing. Then I heard footsteps coming towards the room and then Liam peeks into the room, "She's awake!!!" He yelled, causing me to jump a little.
Then I saw the other boys come in , besides Harry.
"Oh my god, I thought you were dead," Niall said coming towards the bed.
Why were they suddenly being nice to me?
"Why would you think that?" I asked.
"Well... You've been in a mini coma for a few days.." Loui said.
"What?" I said shocked.
"Yeah, We had to take care of you," Liam said.
I noticed that Zayn wasn't saying anything, he just stared at me.
"So.. why am I not dead, after what happened," I asked.
They all looked at each other then back at me, "Um.. Harry may of sucked a lot of blood from you that you would pass out and make you weak for days, But... not enough to kill you.." Liam said.
He should've killed me instead, I thought to myself.
"So where is he?" I asked.
They all frowned at my question, "You ask a lot of questions, don't you?" Zayn finally said something.
I just shrugged at him, but I wanted to say, I ask questions because I want fucking answers, god dammit. It made me mad that they wouldn't tell me. Like why can't they tell me where a person is?
"All we can say is that he'll be back soon," Loui said.
"Talking about me Lads?" Harry asked as he walked in, then he looked at me and paused, "Can you guys leave for a second?"
They did as he asked and left the room, and then Harry shut the door behind them and locked it and the turned back to look at me. He sighed and walked over to me sitting on the bed. He wasn't saying anything but his eyes were saying something else... I knew that he was deeply sorry.. even if he couldn't say it. But I wanted him to be nice and say it.
"Soo..." I said staring at him, waiting for him to say something.
"If you're expecting me to apologize, then you're wasting your time," He said harshly.
"Why can't you just be nice and say sorry..," I teased.
"Because... I'm a Beast... a monster... remember." He said leaning over me, making our faces inches apart.
"Wow. back up, I don't need to be in another coma," I said putting my hands on his chest so he won't come any closer.
"I'm not gonna bite you," He said sadly and leaning his forehead onto mine, "I've been protecting you every night for the past few days,"
"Protecting me from what? You can't protect me if the monster is you." I said without thinking twice, stupidly.
His face saddened but he kept eye contact with me, "I can try, can't I?"
His words made me speechless, what if he isn't a beast? What if he just needed to love someone?
He leaned closer and then kissed me softly.
I looked at him shocked of what he just did... but I liked it? He leaned in for another one but kissed me more hard and passionately, I kissed him backed and slid my arms around his neck as he cupped my face with his hands. Then I felt his tongue entering my mouth and then it explored everything. He let out a small moan.
But then he forcefully pulled back and pushed me away. He sat back up and then he looked over at me, I was so confused, first he kisses me, then he pushes me away?
"I'm sorry, I can't do this... or I might go out of control and kill you," He whispered.
"It's okay," I said looking down.
He put his hand on my thigh and just stared at me, "But thanks,"
"For what?" I asked.
"For not freaking out when a beast like me kissed you," He said and stood up. And then he unlocked the door and opened it,"I'll be back later" he said and left.
