Chapter 23.
I held in in my arms as he sobbed. His arms squeezed around me as his tears made my shoulder wet.
"It'll be okay, I'm here," I cooed.
He lifted his head up, his rosy lips quivering and his eyes red and puffy.
"Makayla," He spoke softly.
"Yeah?" I waited for him to go on.
"I just want someone to love me again," He barely whispered.
My heart ached for him, I felt so sorry for him. I cared for him, although he scared me at times. His hands wandered his way down to my thigh. He laughed as my eyes widened at him, I lifted my hands up to wipe the tears from his cheeks.
He smiled down at me, I looked at him, he had some severe mood swings... is he a girl on her period or something?
His hand rose up to my cheek as he said,"Thanks for caring,"
I smiled a him and then brushed his hand from my face, he frowned at my reaction.
"You confuse me," I admitted.
His eyebrows furrowed,"How?"
"One minute you're sad or mad, and then the next you're happy. And one minute you'll be a gentlemen and the other you'll be rude... it's confusing.. you know?" I said.
His face got serious,"I'm not rude,"
"Sometimes... you are," I said trying not to offend him.
"No I'm not," He huffed in anger,"You can be annoying at times, but I don't point that out,"
"You just did," I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up," He demanded and got up. And the stood in front of me, then he pushed me back onto to bed. He leaned over me, his face in front of mine,"If I was rude, I would of done things to you that I've been longing for," He whispered, his voice was raspy as he rolled off of me.
I look over at him, he wanted to do things to me?
He looked over to me,"But instead.. I just sit here, hoping you'll make a move on me. Like a gentlemen,"
"You have some crazy mood swings," I said, trying to forget what he said.
He smiled,"Sorry,"
I liked it when he smiled, it made me feel safer around him. And his smile would make me smile for no reason. Its like he goes from scary to nice in a second.
"You need to control it better... cause you can be scary," I blurted out without thinking.
His sharp gaze turn back to me,"I scare you?"
