The Beast
Chapter 1.
"Makayla!" My father yelled, "Get me another beer you bitch!"
This was his eleventh time telling me to get another beer, but this time I refuse to. And I know that he is going to hit me since I'm not doing as he told so I go to my room and lock it. I hear his loud footsteps coming down the hallway and then I hear him bang onto the wooden door,
"Get your ass out here and do as you're told!"
I can tell that he is angry and I know that if I go out there I am going to be beaten to death, so I hurry up and grab one of my bags and start shoving some clothes into it and put my makeup bag in it too.
As I'm doing this I can hear him grunting and slamming onto the door harder so I push my desk in front of it to save time.
I pull on a pare of dark skinny jeans and a gray sweater and a scarf, because its cold outside. I pull my curly hair up as fast as I can and slip on a pair of my black combat boots. Then I grab my bag and my phone, and go over to the window and start to crawl out as my father keeps banging on the door. Luckily my room is on the first floor so I don't have to jump out of the window.
As soon as I'm all the way out the cold, moist air hits my face, and I notice how dark it is outside. Thank god for streetlights.
I began to run down the street and turn on the nearest corner I could find. Then I start noticing how many ally's there are in this town. Which really creeps the living shit out of me.
Then I come into a instant stop when I hear a scream.
I look around slowly, and of course I'm going to be stupid and follow it, because its a instant instinct. I follow it slowly into a ally, while turning on a couple of corners that come here and there.
And then I see where the screams where coming from, I instantly freeze up. I saw a curly haired boy standing over a slim girl, his head to her neck as she winced in pain.
As I was staring at his body towering her I knew that this dude was Dangerous, I knew that I should be running instead of watching. But something inside of me told me not to move.. And something inside of me told me that if I leave, it would be the biggest mistake I've ever made.
But he must of felt me watching him because at the very second his head jerked around and he glared at me. His eyes were dark and full of anger. He took a step towards me and dropped the girls lifeless body. He killed her?!
I gasped and backed up slowly.
As I did that he twitched his head to the left (like a dog-but less cute) and glared at me. The next thing I know is that I heard a loud swooshing sound and he was gone.
Where did he go?!
I didn't even care anymore, all I know is that I have to go before he comes back and kills me!
I turned around and bumped into someone.
"Oh, I'm so sorr-" I started to say until I noticed that it was him. My mouth dropped and I swear I could've busted out crying at any moment.
He smirked at me and said,"oh..no, it's okay," his voice was husky and it sent shivers down my whole body.
"uh- I have to go" I said backing up but before I could budge he had stopped me by putting his hands on my waist, "NO. You aren't going anywhere.. You saw me kill her. And I can't have any witnesses!" he hissed which really scared me.
I forced myself out of his grip and started running for my life until I felt my body slam onto the moist concrete.
Then everything went black.
