You need to think this through Becca, I said to myself but I was too curious to stop myself from going plus I needed to know the truth. Was I really going mad? How could I hear him? I started my car and drove to the station exit. I got my pepper spray just in case and got out. I waited for the train to arrive so whomever I was waiting for could get off.

"Get in" The voice said when the doors opened.

"You gotta be kidding me" I laughed but I obliged.

I got in and sat down. It was empty. I was playing with my fingers and thinking about if I should get off but I was too late. The train was already moving.

"Shit" I mumbled to myself.

I got up and I was walking back and forth, thinking maybe I should tell Harry or at least Chloe about it.

"You're almost there Becca" He said in my head.

"Almost where?!" I yelled out loud.

Then someone touched my shoulder, which crept me out cause I was pretty sure I was alone. Then I found myself in an abandoned train station. There was a guy standing in front of me and the girl who touched my shoulder walked towards him.

"What the hell?!" I yelled in shock.

"I'm Sarah and I believe you and David have already met" The girl said smiling.

"Hello Becca" The same voice in my head said, but this time he was standing right in front of me and damn he was hot.

He smirked, so I guess he was still in my head but how could that be possible? I was definitely going crazy. I didn't even understand what was going on. I felt the adrenaline rushing through my veins.

"Follow me" Sarah said walking away.

I followed her, not knowing what to do and we walked in a large living room kind of a place, and we weren't the only ones here.

"Told you you're not crazy" David said smiling and walking past me.

I was just looking around like a lost puppy. Who were these people?

"Okay, okay wait. Where are we? How- who are you?" I said pointing at them.

"You're in an abandoned subway station, 1000 feet below the streets of Los Angeles. We teleported here, actually I teleported you" Sarah smiled proudly but I was just looking at them like there were all crazy.

"We're called the tomorrow people, and we didn't choose the name I swear" David said rolling his eyes.

I just laughed at them. This can't be true, right?

"This is just one of my crazy dreams" I said walking away.

"It's not a dream Becca" The voice in my head said, well David said actually but how on earth could I hear him inside my head.

I turned around to face him.

"How did you do that?" I asked him a bit annoyed but more freaked out actually.

"You've heard of telepathy? It's another one of our powers" He smiled genuinely at me.

I really didn't wanna believe them, it all sounded too crazy.

"The 3 Ts" Sarah smiled.

I just looked at her even more confused.

"The third being telekinesis" She added as I nodded in disapproval.

"She doesn't believe us" David said disappointed to Sarah.

"That's funny. The teleportation usually sells it" Sarah replied.

"No offense but I'm sure I'm gonna wake up at some awful place soon" I said giving them a fake smile.

"You don't understand Becca. You're one of us. You're breaking out" The Mr. Know-it-all added.

"You're waking up in weird places Becca? You're not sleepwalking, you're teleporting" Sarah said walking towards me and I was sure my face was enough to tell I didn't believe all this nonsense.

"You hear David's voice in your head? Yeah that's telepathy" She added pointing at him and he nodded.

"Your powers are starting to appear" I still didn't believe them. "Soon you'll be able to do this" She smirked and I was up in the air. Up in the air! What?!

"Okay! Okay! Put me down!" I freaked out.

"You got it" She smiled and I fell down.

Thank god, please don't tell me I just levitated or whatever.

"I'm having a psychotic break or something. Oh gosh" I was stressing out, I could feel my heart race faster.

"No you're not. These thoughts are gonna get in your way" David said calmly.

"Get in my way?! You have no idea what the last month has been like" I yelled annoyed.

"Becca, I know exactly how it's been like" He sounded a bit hurt but I was too furious to think about that.

"I know how alone you've felt, how scared. Feel like you're turning to a different new person, like your mind isn't your own" He said walking towards me.

Yeah cause you were invading it!, I yelled inside my head.

"All those hours you cried in your room because of that, I was with you the whole time Becca, we're connected. I feel what it's like to be you" He said looking down at me.

I bit my lip, trying not to cry.

"That sounds.." I gulped loudly "Um awful" I tried to smile.

"You think you're a freak? You're not. You're on the brink of becoming someone truly extraordinary" He smiled at me.

I just looked blankly at him. Could what he was saying be true?

"Don't let it get to your head" Sarah hit my arm playfully.

Well this was definitely not a good time to make a joke. Then they gestured that I should follow them. I could see teens hanging out.

"How many of you are there?" I asked David.

"Here? You're number 15. Out there? Could be hundreds, thousands" Sarah replied even though I didn't even ask her.

"It's a genetic mutation. Sometimes it never breaks out" David added.

"Until then people like you think they're regular saps" Sarah smiled wickedly.

"Homo sapiens" David explained smiling.

"As in human?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. "Uh if I'm not human then what the hell am I?" I asked him laughing.

"You my friend are a homo superior" This cute guy said joining our conversation.

"We didn't pick that name either" David said in disgust.

"I'm Josh and you're the one that David can't stop talking about?" He said shaking my hand.

He gave him a look and I blushed a bit. I didn't even know these people. Then I recognized all the expensive stuff around me and I asked them how they afforded them. Josh practically said they stole them and Sarah butted in the conversation.

"Do you wanna learn how to do the none finger discount or wanna know how to survive?" She said turning around.

She showed me two of their newest breakouts and how they were unable to control their powers.

"Teleporting in your sleep is just the beginning" She smiled.

"It's kinda like a paranormal dream" Josh said as he sat down.

"By the time we're done with your training-" She said as she disappeared. "Ultra won't be able to lay a hand on you" She said behind me.

"Who's Ultra?" I asked her curiously.

Seriously? Why so eager to learn know Becca, just make a run for it, I bitch slapped myself in my head.

"The one's hunting us. There's a war outside Becca, between our species and humans..." David started explaining and told me how some of 'us' even work for Ultra.

Apparently they thought we were a danger to humankind but I wasn't even sure if I believed myself or not. Then they said that they can't find or trace the ones that Ultra had captured and that's why they needed me. I just looked at them confused.

"Guess you could call him our leader. One day on a mission he never came back" Sarah said hurt.

How on earth did she think I'd be able to help them? I thought I had a sleeping disorder like couple of hours ago.

"Okay so Ultra got him" I said pointing out the obvious.

"It's impossible. He was the strongest of us all" She added and I just looked down, wanting to get out of here as soon as possible.

"Listen to me Becca, if you have inherited just a fraction of those powers-" She was saying as I cut her off.

"Inherited?!" I asked her confused.

None of them replied, they just looked at each other. I got up angrily.

"Wait are you telling me that my lunatic dad who left my mom and me behind was like you?" I could feel the room tensing up.

I couldn't believe what they say was true. My dad was a horrible man and he didn't care about anyone else besides him.
