How it all started..
It all started few months ago. We were watching the first season of the Voice with my mother, and my sister, when I first dreamt of being one of the contestants. Being completely honest, it remained a dream during fews months later. But before I start the whole story, let me introduce myself.
My name's Charlotte Lefebvre, I'm 17, and I graduated last June from high school. I've started my first year of college in communication. I'm a typical average girl : parents divorced, I've got a little sister (who's taller than me btw..), red-headed, and Directioner. I've always dreamt of being a singer, but it was nothing more than just a childhood dream.
Before the beginning of the second season of TV (The Voice), I decided that I would have a try. I'd try and be a contestant, just to see where I could go. Unfortunately, I kind of forget to subscribe and I watch the entire season knowing that I let my chance slip through my fingers.. I was a bit depressed, knowing that I could have been there, standing on this stage, singing with all my heart. But nope. Not this time.
Until a Saturday evening, watching TV, when my sister shouted at me :
- Casting for The Voice is open!
Amazing! I was ready to seize the day, and to do it this time. It seemed that the world was against me though.. Or the universe.. Maybe both, and in that case, that sucked.. I went through a lot of troubles to get my video accepted by the website, such as my subscription : the video wasn't in the right format, I didn't like it, the website didn't recognize the video, so it couldn't accept the subscription.. You can imagine how pissed I was! Just before my final German exam! But finally, on a raining sunday, when my father was about to cut electricity to work on it, the odds were in my favor! (Hunger Games huhu) And I finally was one of the contestants. Inever could have imagine that it was the beginning of something bigger than what Iever dreamt of (even though I dreamt about it a looooot..)
