Bethany's POV:


I was just sitting in my room thinking.The ball was tonight and I was really afraid because I didn't know if Harry was actually going to come.

Every day now William has found some way to get on my nerves, whether he talks about my mother or just annoys me. He doesn't know anything. Harry has been getting me through it all. Father has been letting me go to the village with some guards and when we get there I tell the guards to do whatever they want and I go find Harry. He says he always wants to come visit me but I always tell him no. If William knew that there was someone else who was competing for me he would lose it. I was completely knocked out of my thoughts when I heard someone knocking at my door.

"Come in!" I said still lying on my bed. Madame Rose walked in the door.

"Miss it is time for your fitting if that's alright." She said sweetly.

"Of course!" I hopped off my bed and followed her into the fitting room.

After about an hour they were done with all the pinning and sewing. I stepped down and looked in the mirror. My dress was beautiful! The whole outfit was actually!

They applied light make-up to my face, did my hair, and put on my mask. I really liked the way I looked tonight. I hope Harry will too.

Around five, the guests started arriving. I was ready way to early and so I was stuck in my outfit all afternoon. I wasn't going down until I was called. That is what Mother told me, always make an entrance. Plus, that's what they told me to do.

Madame Rose finally came and knocked on my door.

"Time to go, ready miss?" She asked.

"Yes." I said and smiled at her.

"Have fun with Harry and be very careful with your father!" She said. Wow she's acting like my mother.

"Alright! Do not worry I will be okay!" I said.

I waited in the hall by the staircase that leads to the ballroom. Every once in a while I would turn my head to see if Harry was there. I thought I saw him a couple times but I couldn't tell because everyone is wearing masks.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Alright it's time! "MAY I PLEASE PRESENT TO YOU, PRINCESS BETHANY!" Everyone cheered as I walked down the stairs and took a seat next to my father.

"You look beautiful darling." He said to me. I smiled.

"Yes absolutely devine!" William cut in. Ew.

I sat there for a while and watched the people dance and smile at the completely in love couples who are dancing at a royal masquerade. This must be pretty amazing for them.

"Excuse me Princess?" I turned my head to see those green eyes I love.

"Yes?" I asked trying to hold back a smile.

"Would you like to dance?" Harry asked. I smiled, I couldn't hold it any longer.

"Yes." I said taking his hand.

"I was going to ask her to dance!" William shouted.

"William you lost your chance!" I said back and walked into the crowd with Harry.

"You clean up well." I said as we started to dance.

"Well thank you." He said. I looked at him. He had a black long sleeve shirt on with buttons going down the middle. His pants were his tight working pants that were probably the nicest ones he had. And his hair, oh his hair was one of the most wonderful things about him! It was perfectly styled, as always!

"You look quite beautiful tonight Princess." I blushed.

"How did you know it was me when you asked me to dance?" I asked the dumbest question ever. Wow nice going Bethany. Smooth.

"Really? Well first you walked down the staircase and they announced you as Princess! Second you were sitting on the throne! Third, you're the only one in the kingdom with red hair!!" We both started laughing.


This is all I ever wanted.

anyways! I'm sorry I haven't updated! I've been really tired and I've had a ton of homework! Ugh!
