Chapter Seven
Max and I decided to meet up another day because he needed to see his sister, so I had time to talk with Harry. Wednesday afternoon, I went to Harrys apt. (this is what she is wearing http://www.polyvore.com/nerdy/set?id=102816659) looking for answers. I knocked on the door several times before actually opeing it. I screamed his name.
"HARRY!!!!" Somebody moaned, I heard shuffling, and he came out in his boxers...only his boxers.
"Umm, hi. We need to talk."
"UGH! Why are you here so early?" He complained not knowing it was 2:30.
"Harry its 2:30 in the afternoon. You weren't answering your cell, so I came over." He saw me staring at his very nicely toned abbs, and smirked. I cleared my head and got straight to the point.
"First, what was up with you yesturday? You s-stormed away after I told you about Max, a-and was avoiding me all freakin' day! Second, WILL YOU PLEAZE PUT ON A SHIRT!?!?" He laughed but got serious and picked up a shirt out of the hamper near the bedroom door. What that even clean?!
"I wasn't avoiding you, I just had nothing to say to you." He looked down at his feet. I walked over to him, and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Harry, please tell me whats wrong. I don't understand whats wrong. Do you not like Max? Is there something I should know about him?"
Harry's POV
"Harry, please tell me whats wrong. I don't understand whats wrong. Do you not like Max> Is there something wrong with him?" The gears in my head started to turn. Obviously, I couldn't tell her I liked her, so I could convince her not to date him! I know its wrong, but I can't risk the chance at losing her to some coffee nerd.
"Actually, yes. Max is a huge player. He dated one of the contestants and acted like he really liked her. They lived together for the longest time. Then he automatically broke up with her, and kicked her out. She had no where to go, so she worked double time for five weeks just to pay 7 weeks of rent. I just don't want him to get you realed in and shake you off like a flea on a dog." BAM! That definatley won her over because she kissed me on the cheek, thanked me, and told me she had some buisness to take care of.
"W-what do you mean?" Oh crap.
"I need to talk to Max about something." Before I could stop her, she was out the door and at her car in three seconds. Shit. There goes my innocent act, right down the drain.
When I got to the mall, she was already yelling at Max. The he said something, and a girl standing next to Max guestured toward me. I could tell that Alex's eyes were welled up with tears, and she apologized, hugged the both of them, and ran to her car. Not before looking at me right in the eye, giving me a heart breaking look that I couldn't stand. Now I'd really hurt her.
