Why me?
Chapter Three
I woke up in the nurses office, on one of the beds. At first, I didn't understand why I was here, but then I remembered the whole bathroom scene. I saw my parents walking in the school. My mother looked furious, and my father looked scared. Why would he be? I heard somebody enter the nurses office.
"Oh my god! What's wrong with Sofia?!?! Is she ok!?!? Who did this to her?!?!" Kenzie, shes my best friend. I needed her more than anyone else.
"Kenzie? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in class?" She ran over to me and nelt beside me.
"What are you talking about? I can't just leave you alone like this!..Uh, not that you wouldn't be alone because you have Ms. Watson." She must've insulted the nurse because she huffed and went back to her office. I laughed silently. Kenzie started to rant on about what happened.
"AND YOUR PARENTS ARE SENDING YOU AWAY!" This got my attention.
"Like to boarding school?" She smiled a little, but her eyes were sad.
"Nope, YOUR GOING TO LA!!!!" OH MY GOD!!!
"NO WAY! REALLY? BUT WHERE AM I GONNA STAY?!? WHAT..." My mom opened the door and ran over to me.
"Sweetheart! Are you OK?!? What happened?" I sighed and told her everything.
"Mom, are you really sending me away? I don't want to leave! I'll work harder here I promise! But please don"t make me leave forever!" She chuckled, and looked up. I didn't understand what was funny.
"Honey, your uncle lives in LA, and we won't send you away forever. Your father and I just think that you need to get away for awhile. Its isn't your fault this happened. It isn't Kenzie's fault either. You just...need to get away from these nasty, awful girls." She looked like she was about to cry, which made my heart break. I couldn't leave during school. Then what would I do if I was a grade behind?!?
"Mother, I cannot leave during the middle of school. I'd get stuck in 10th grade for another year!"
"Oh don't worry about that. I got all of your school work to go. So you will be at school, but not physically. As for how long your staying there, about four months. Your uncle even has a job for you!"
"What is it?" I asked nervously.
"You'll be working on the Xfactor!!!". I swear my heart nearly jumped up my throat.
