Chapter Eleven
Harry's POV
I heard heels run back inside. Was that Alex, or Jess? I really hoped it was Jess, and I need her to keep it a secret. But if it was Alex, then game over. I ran back inside to find Jess and Niall talking and laughing. They were at the bar the whole time. Aww crap. Then where'd Alex go?
"Hey Max!" I motioned him to come overe.
"Whats up?"
"Have you seen Alex?" He thought for a moment.
"Yeah. I believe she went to the restroom."
"Okay. Thanks man." He nodded, and walked back over to the others. I went towards the bathroom and waited by the door. When she finally came out, I scared her.
Alex's POV
When I got out of the bathroom, Harry scared me.
"Hi." I jumped and dropped my purse.
"Oh, hi Harry. Do you need something?"
"Yeah. Were you outside, like, ten minutes ago?" I was a terrible liar. I didn't know I could convince him that i didn't hear anything.
"Uhh, no, why?"
"Alex, I heard your heels." Curse these shoes!
"Okay, let me explain. I just wish two people didn't like me at the same time so I don't have to choose!And I just can't go through the pain that awaits me." He gave me an understanding look. I looked back at him with sadness in my eyes.
"Then let me help you make it easier." He started to lean in. I let him. When our noses were touching, I gently brushed my lips against his to tease him. But he cought my neck gently, and kissed me softly. I could feel my stomach expload like fireworks. My heart started to beat faster and faster. When we pulled apart, Our foreheads touched and I looked into his eyes. I smiled. I still had this nagging feeling that trusting Harry would nip me in the butt like the last time I had, but I just put it off. When we walked out, I unlinked our hands. I had to think about this before I made my final decision. He frowned, but quickly got rid of it as we got back to the others. Thats when I saw Jess and Niall basically snogging. I freaked! Go Jess!
Jess's POV
While Harry and Alex talked, Niall and I struck up a convorsation. He had no girlfriend and he really likes cocktailes. Then we started talking about our relationships, and he felt bad for me because I have had a lot of bad situations. Then we just kissed. I enjoyed it so much, and was glad my brother couldn't see us from the dance floor because he certainly wouldn't approve of it. I was also happy that he was having fun. I loved the way Niall cupped my cheek and never used his tongue with me. I hate it when guys do that. When Alex and Harry came back in, Niall didn't even flinch. I tried to move away so I could talk, but he wouldn't budge. I smiled into the kiss, and thats when he loosened his grip. I took this as an opertunity, and jumped out of my seat. Them I stuck my tongue out at him, and teased him. He playfully growled and followed me, but I was too fast for him. Before he could grab me, I ran behind him and snaked my arms around his neck.
"You know whats sad? I'm faster than you in 8 inch heels." I giggled into his ear as I whispered my insult. I saw him smirk, then grab my hip and spin me around him. Now I was face to face with him.
"You know what the penalty is for insabordination?" He said pretending to be mad.
"What are you talking about?! Insabordination? What did I do officer?" I asked.
"When you are kissing a lepricon, you aren't allowed to....I have no ideah." He laughed and kissed me. I pulled apart.
"TAG!" I lightly punched him on the shoulder. He looked at me funny. I just laughed and sprinted.
