Unexpected
Summary
Prologue:
I was the last person left to say goodbye to Charlie, she looked at me and I could tell she had her guard up, knowing that I would have something cheeky to say.
She extended her arm towards me and I closed the spaced between us, taking her hand in mine.
“It was nice to meet you, Harry. I’ll see you next week.” Her beautiful gaze sent a jolt of arousal a few inches below my belt. I stared at her for a second before pulling her body close to mine, allowing my lips to barely graze her earlobe before I spoke.
“Contract or not contract, I will have you. And you will enjoy every second of it.” I whispered softly so only she could hear. I felt her tense up in front of me and I smiled, inhaling deeply before stepping back and letting go of her hand. Her mouthwatering scent lingered in my nostrils as I gave her body another look-see before passing by her to leave the room.
I turned to see her face one last time before opening the door and it came as no surprise to me that she was frozen in place, her hand still slightly extended.
“It was a pleasure to meet you, Charlie.” And that was the last thing I said before leaving her with a dumbfounded look on her face.
