Finally.
Show time.
I took the stage in front of thousands of screaming teenage girls. I took the mic and yelled, "How we doin Seattle?!?"
Everyone screamed. I giggled "So if you aren't aware yet I am Jenner Taylor and I'm gonna sing some songs for you lovely people."
I saw a sign that read "Jenner has the X Factor" that blew my mind. Someone made a sign for me. I grabbed my guitar and began playing "Waking Up In Vegas" the crowd screamed and as I sang I could hear them singing along. Amazing. This moment would never ever leave my mind. This was it. I was famous.
The next few songs I sang were from my album. Since it wasn't released yet the crowd just screamed while I sang. I couldn't wait for the album to be released so they could sing along tomall the songs. When I got to my favorite song on the album "Firework" I said to the crowd "I wrote this song for all the dreamers out there. Never give up cause there's still a chance. I went from working at a country club in Newport Beach California to being up here on this stage singing my songs for all of you. So dont ever give up on your dreams cause baby your a firework come on show em what your worth!"
The crowd screamed and I began to sing. This was the best feeling ever. I looked over to the side of the stage and seen Liam watching. I smiled. When the song ended I said, "it's so hard to concentrate on singing when I look over and Liam James Payne is standing there watching me." The crowd screamed and chanted "LIAM! LIAM! LIAM!"
"Get out here Liam. The ladies wanna see you."
He walked out waving. The crowd went crazy. He took a mic "Are you guys enjoying the show so far?"
Everyone screamed.
I smiled "Let's sing a song for them."
"What do you have in mind Jenner?" He smiled.
"Hmmm. How about the song we sang together earlier during sound check."
"Ah yes, a little Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes Almost Is Never Enough" he sat on a stool they brought out.
The crowd screamed. I sat at the piano. I've been playing piano since 7 years old. I love it. But I love playing guitar way more.
"Is there any instrument you can't play?" Liam asked with a smile.
"The triangle. I never mastered the art of playing the triangle or the kazoo. "
Liam laughed "Ah yes, very tricky instruments to master. I am a professional kazoo player. I'll teach you sometime."
"Sounds like a plan" I began playing the song.
The lyrics were beautiful. It was one of my favorite songs to sing. Liam knew it too so we sang it. We sounded really good together. I was surprised. The crowd loved it. I loved it . The look on Liam's face showed me he loved it too.
I could definitely get used to singing with him.
