Unexpected Love
Chapter 26
Harry's pov
I hugged her tight not wanting to let her go. I was never one to just be that open with a girl but with her it came natural. Maybe I should tell her it was me behind the texts. I just couldn't help but think she might hate me after of I did. I breathed her in she smelled of vanilla and peppermint.
" harry" she said pulling her head back to meet my eyes "can we finish running now" she smiled.
"Hold on, there is something I wanna do first" I placed my hand on her cheek and she leaned into it I pulled her in and kissed her. There it was the feeling of being complete. There was no way I was going to do anything to risk loosing this. She broke the kiss smiling.
"What?" I asked
"I'll race you to the car. Loser has to buy dinner tomorrow night"
"You are on love."
"on the count of three" She began counting but when she got to two she pulled me in for another kiss. It surprised me. She was good at surprising me.
She immediately said three and took off leaving me to catch my breath. Plain and simple she cheated. When I gor to the car she just laughed.
"I let you win because I am a gentleman" I said buffing my chest out.
"Sure you did. Hey I really don't want to go back yet. How about that ice cream I mentioned earlier. My treat!" I entwined our fingers together and we walked to a little shop down the road. It was quiet and not a soul was in sight.
"Can I have a double scoop mint chocolate chip cone please and what do you want Harry? "
"Same but rocky road" She paid pushing me away when I tried.
For the next hour we just sat in the shop talking and eating our Ice cream forgetting the world around us. That is until a huge flash went off from behind us. I turned around to see paparazzi standing outside the window
"Time to go" she said pulling my hand and running to the back door.
Clearly she had been here more than once. We walked out back and walked around to the side where her car had been parked. How we managed to not be seen is beyond me. But we did and soon we were back at our hotel, We would both be leaving tomorrow. I walked her to her room. "Thanks for tonight Harry. See you tomorrow" she sweetly kissed my lips and went inside. I got to my room and threw myself on my bed. Happy at how the night turned out. Before I got in the shower my phone went off. It was from her who still thought I was a stranger
C: so I think you were right. I'm going to give Harry a chance.
H: see that wasn't so hard
I text back getting into the shower
