Unexpected Love
Chapter 19
Cassie’s Pov
I smiled as I read the last text tucking my phone in my purse. I quickly grabbed a shower and met the crew in the S.U.V downstairs and headed off to our interview.
To be honest I don’t really remember much of the interview or the photo shoot because I was too engrossed in my phone. So far in the past 4 Hrs. I had gotten the E,r,y,and S which gave me nothing and before I knew it we were at Madison Square doing sound check.
“Earth to Cassie” my manager amber screamed waving her hand in front of my face. “Unless you are doing damage control for that thing that happened with Harry this morning let’s get off the phone and get to work.”
Sometimes I hated her. I tucked my phone away and we began sound check. Singing the end of every song and then going over the set list.
“Okay So Break the fall, then stone heart. Okay girls”
“We know the set list it’s the same since we started this tour” I snapped at her.
“Whoa girl chill out. Get your head in the game. “Melanie broke out in song.
When we were kids Mel and I obsessed over High school Musical learned all the dances and everything. I couldn’t help but laugh thinking about those memories
“Sorry,” I apologized to Amber, “Can we end the show with unexpected love.” I asked
Unexpected love was a song on the album we never really sang in concert. But tonight I felt like it might be fitting.My phone went off echoing throughout the entire arena I quickly checked the text
R. I will see at your show tonight break a leg beautiful.
Butterfly’s formed in my stomach. Is it weird to develop feelings for a total stranger who could very well be a serial killer? I am sure it is but I couldn’t help it. After what happened last night with Harry, I need the self-esteem boost.
After what seemed like another hour we were sent backstage to eat our dinner. Which consisted of Chinese takeout, Wendy’s fries, mountain dew and cool ranch Doritos. Yeah we were fatties. Then it was off to our meet and greets. I never understood why they were done before shows. It was after that we are hyper and ready to party it up. Still we met and took pictures with hundreds of fans followed them all on Instagram and twitter right then and there. During hair and makeup there was a knock on the door followed but the entering of all five of One Direction.
“Look who I found roaming the halls girls” Amber said with a huge grin on her face
I knew this was her way of getting Harry and I toclean up the scene we made but if she honestly thought I was going to be okay with making it look like we were close or a thing is wasn’t gonna happen.
“UHH amber a word please” As Corey our makeup artist spritz my face with finishing spray and moved on to Melanie.
“Whatcha need”
“What the hell are they doing here?”
“Well both management teams have decided it’s in the best interest of all of you if you guys spent some time together until the whole public argument dies down”
Great now I was stuck with him because of my stupidity... At least I still had the mystery text guy to cheer me up later.
