Baby Daddy
Surprise
knock knock
I wasn't going to tell him.
When I first found out I was pregnant, I was too afraid to tell him. What if he denied it? We'd just broken up. It would have been weird. However, with just under a month left in my pregnancy, I knew I had to do it. So I waited patiently at his front door, praying he'd answer.
Instead of Harry answering, however, my best friend Liam answered.I hadn't seen him since the breakup, in fear he'd tell Harry. But seeing him now made me want to cry.
"Li!" I exclaimed, moving to throw my arms around his neck, but he took a step back.
"Gracie?! Did you swallow a planet?!" He exclaimed. I bit my lip and tried not to frown.
"Might as well've." I sighed, placing a hand underneath my bulging stomach,
"Grace!" Liam near shouted. "Is that--"
"Liam, is Harry home?" I interrupted, not wanting Liam to be the first to know, but unable to find another way.
"Oh Grace. Oh shit." Liam put a hand on his forehead and looked me straight in the eyes. "Are you okay Gracie? Like, really okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine Liam. But Harry has to know, and he has to know now. I'm due in less than a month. It's time. Please, tell me he's here."Liam stepped aside and nodded.
"Come on in."
Walking into the apartment was weird. Like, really weird. It wasn't much changed since I had been living there with Harry, but it just wasn't mine anymore.
As always, he was sitting on the couch, a bowl of popcorn in his lap, watching sports. I rolled my eyes, but spared a smile.
"Harry?" Harry glanced up from the television, his eyes immediately widenening. I waved awkwardly and pointed to my stomach. "Is now a good time to introduce you to your future son?"
