Chapter 4.
ACES POV
For some reason I slept comfortable which hasn't happened for a while. But I felt someone's hands around my waist and their chest on my back. I quickly opened my eyes and realized I wasn't in my room and apparently not my clothes. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I grabbed a pillow and started smacking the person next to me. I could feel tears forming in my eyes. What if I got raped or kidnapped?!?! But then I realized who the person was. I felt sick.NIALLS POV
I heard a girl screaming so fucking loud so I thought it was my neighbors daughter until someone started hitting me with a pillow I think? I grabbed the pillow with my right arm and opened my eyes. And I remembered Ace passed out at my house yesterday night after the club."WHAT THE FUCK ACE?!" I was literally annoyed at how I woke up.
"NIALL?! WHAT THE HELL? WHY AM I HERE IN YOUR CLOTHES? DID YOU RAPE ME OR KIDNAP ME? I'M CALLING THE POLICE." I could see tears forming in her eyes. I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. She just have me a lost face.
"Chillax babe. You don't remember anything from yesterday?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Why do you think I'm asking you what happened?" She snaps. Ouch. "Sorry.. I didn't mean to sound rude just shocked right now." Wow another shocker. Didn't think she'd apologize to me.
"How about I explain over breakfast at Ronnie's?" I honestly didnt want her to leave. Ugh. I'm suppose to be a tough guy but yet here I am showing my soft side to her. She gave me a death glare but ended up sighing saying yes. Score!
"Ill pick you up in about a hour? So you can shower and stuff since its only 9?"
"Sure" she nodded. I drove her to her house and left to get ready too.
ACES POV
Did Niall just ask me out on a date? Yeah right. A guy hasn't liked me ever since that rumor went around in Washington from that jackass Tyler. (Aces ex) I quickly showered and put on a random outfit.
I just sat outside on the sidewalk waiting for Niall. I knew it was going to take awhile since I got ready in 30 minutes instead a hour. So I got my headphones and blasted music while my eyes were closed. In about 20 minutes Niall came and I didn't even notice until he sent me a text. Wait. I totally forgot he had my number wow. I could've called him to pick me up. Oh well.
"Where are we going for breakfast again?" I totally forgot what the place was called. How smart of me.
"Ronnie's." In about 10 minutes we got there and we had small chats on the ride there. We ordered food and sat down at a table by the window.
"So tell me about yourself Ace." Wow what a surprise. But I wasn't ready to tell him my life, but I had a feeling I could trust him. Snap out of it Ace. You only met him for like a week.
"Ace? You okay?" "Huh. Yeah sorry."
"So. Uh I actually have a question." Oh god. This better be good. I nodded while taking a bite of an egg.
"Were you in a gang before?" I choked on my food and Niall gave me a cup of water.
"Wait. Did you just ask if I was in a gang before?"
"Yeah." He said bluntly.
"Uhmm.. y-yeah." God damnnit. Stop stuttering. It's not like it's a crime or anything.
" Thought so. Who was the leader?" Why does he want to know this stuff?..
"Jack." I finally managed to say. I didn't like saying that bastards name at all.
"I knew it. Btw are you okay? Your face is pale." No I'm not okay.
"Y-yeah.." You suck at lying Ace ugh. Out of nowhere Niall grabs my arm and drives somewhere. I ask him where were going but he doesn't answer me gosh. Soon enough he arrived at this beautiful small river no one knew about.
"Howd you find this place?"
"When I was mad one time I just ran and somehow ended up here so I decided to make this my private place." I wonder what he was mad about.
"Not so private anymore. So why are we here?" I had no clue why we came here.
He grabbed my arm and made me sit next to him.
"Ace please tell me what happened. Everytime I ask you about your life or your scars you always seem to want to cry or turn pale." He gave me a worried look. This was the first in years someone knew that I wasn't fine at all that I was only acting strong even though I'm broken and torn inside. Without knowing a few tears fell onto my cheek.He held me closer to him while he was rocking me back and forth. I felt safe in his arms for some reason.
"It all began 5 years ago. I was in a gang with Jack. But I was basically forced. He said I had to join or he would kill my entire family. So I moved here without my family knowing. He made me do all these kinds of things. He trained me to fight, use a gun, how to defend myself." I quickly got a breath while Niall was strok ing my back and my head laid on his chest. "And then
One night he told me that we were going to go against another gang to steal drugs. Oh he forced me to do those too. I got my gun and pocket knife since that was what I was skilled at. But he lied to me. He flew back to New York when we the rest of the gang was at a hotel. He raped my mom and older sister then hanged my dad and brother in front of them." I started to cry more but I held it in and continued. "Once my brother and dad was lifeless he took my mom and sister and taped them to the wall while throwing knives at them to bleed to death. When he came back he.. he tried to rape me but I cut him with my knife. He took it from me and stabbed me three times and while I was bleeding to death he finally raped me and left me there. Until someone called the ambulance and I was saved. Ever since then I lived in Washington and trained myself harder then ever. I changed my personality. My looks. The way I think. And I came here to start a new life since my friend told me he died."
NIALLS POV
Holy shit. I did not see that coming. Jack was this kind of person? Ice known him for years and I've never heard of this before. And she thinks hes dead? Well she's wrong but I shouldn't tell her right now.. I just hugged her tighter than ever. That was disgusting. How could someone do that?"Don't worry love. I'm here for you. You know you can always tell me every thing. Ill keep you safe.." she started to cry harder. Once she stopped I asked her if she wanted to come to my house today and sleepover. She agreed. I couldn't leave her alone in this state she was in. I gave her my shirt to wear and I stripped down until I was only in my boxers. I pulled her closer to me and hugged her while we laid in bed. Should I ask her to join my gang so she feels safer?
"Ace. I have something to tell you and ask you." She nodded telling me to go on and I took a deep breath.
"Jack isn't dead but I can protect you if you're with me and my gang. Ill make sure he never touches you again or goes near you. " I squeezed her tight. I looked down at her face and saw her go pale and shake like crazy. I could tell she was scared than ever. She nodded and I knew she agreed to stay by my side now. I wonder what Jack will say when I ask him about this.
