Louis POV:

I am putting a piece of leftover chicken in the microwave when the phone rings. I press 2 minutes as Harry runs to answer. I watch as he grabs the phone and says;

"Hello!"

I see his brows furrow together in concentration, but I'm distracted by a huge bang, and an odd metallic smell filling the air.

"What the hell was that?! shrieks Niall who had jumped about a foot in the air. I run over to the microwave and wrench the door open. The whole interior has black scorch marks all over it.

"Uhhh, sorry guys," i say as i use a cloth to retrieve my fork from inside the microwave. "Looks like forgot to take that out..." i say. Liam snorts, and then we all break into laughter as i look at the hopeless microwave.

I'm still chuckling when I hear Harry's voice;

"Okay, thank you. Yes we will be right there. Bye." I hear the beep as Harry puts the phone down. I look up to see him looking back at me with a grim look on his face. My grin disappears.

"Whats up Harry?" I ask him. He runs a hand through his hair, as four pairs of eyes rest on him expectantly.

"The police chief just called. He says we need to get down to the station immediately, he may have some leads and he needs to question Sam for details now that she is awake." Harry tells us as he sighs.

"But she only just woke up today!" I exclaim. "Can't he give her a break?" Harry shakes his head.

"He said it was essential that she comes with us."

We all sigh, and start getting ready to leave as Harry goes upstairs to get Sam.

Sam POV:

I feel a light pressure on my shoulder, pulling me from a deep sleep. I start to stir, and a soft voice whispers in my ear.

"Shhh, it's just me love. You need to wake up, the police have some questions for you." Says the voice. Harry's voice. I turn my head towards him, and groan as i open my eyes a crack. I am startled by two brilliant green eyes looking down at me. I blink, dazed, and he flashes a big smile at me.

"Have a good nap?" He asks. I nod, and stretch my legs out, pointing my toes. Harry chuckles, and pulls back the covers so i can sit up. I'm still half asleep, but Harry gently slips his arms around me and lifts me up. I wrap my arms around his neck, and nuzzle into it, closing my eyes.

"It's a good thing you're so small love, otherwise I don't know what I'd do with you!" Harry murmurs. He carries me down the stairs and into the front entryway where the boys are waiting.

"Hey Sam!"

"How was your sleep?"

"Ready to go?"

The questions came all at the same time, and before i could answer any of them, Harry has held up a hand to get them to stop, and speaks for me;

"Guys, she's fine, just half asleep still!" he explains with a chuckle. I nod, and close my eyes again as i lean into him. The ride to the police station is a blur. They play some good music to help me wake up, and it works. By the time we arrive at our destination, i am fully awake, and we are all in a good mood. Harry has to use the bathroom, so Niall carries me into the station while Harry jogs ahead. I feel like a princess, I'm sure that most girls would kill to be carried around all day by these five guys.

Once inside the police station things start getting confusing.

"Are you Samantha Jevrin?" I hear a voice ask. I turn my head to see a woman, about 50 years old.

"Yup, that's me!" i respond as she shakes my hand.

"I'm Pamela," she tells me. "I am the main detective assigned to your case, glad to see you awake. Come sit, we have a lot to do tonight." she says, leading us over to a conference room.

My eyes widen at the sight on the conference table. It is strewn with pictures of various men. men who look cold and mean. And i don't recognize a single one of them...

Hey Y'all, its been a while since i updated! im literally falling asleep as i write this, so im going to bed now.
