Chapter 10 - Sweet dream or beautiful nightmare?

We have been rehearseling for three weeks and now the day has finally come. I can't understand that i'm about to sing live infront of so many people! I'm full of confidence and everyone has told me that I look beautiful. All credit goes to El who has been my makeup - hair artist today. My look:

Liam is the first to interduce everyone to the musical and then he, Lou and Marc will sing a song, thereafter it's me. I’m freaking nervous, i’m shaking. The crowd is insane I can hear them from the changing room ( it's actually just a normal class room but we kind of turned it into a changing room).

This performance is so important not only for the single of us but also for the teachers, the sponsors for the school and even the schools history. If we get bad credit the whole UK will know. I'm so glad that I have Harry beside me. He's my best support right now and doesn't look bad himself.

”I know you can do it Whitney Huston”, he jokes. I take his hand hoping it will make me chill a little bit but as the sweet idiot Harry is, he absolutely has to remind me of how nervous I actually am.

"Wow you're really shaking. Don't be nervous you sing beautifully love" he said as he gave me a kiss. I smiled and hurried up to El who just had finished singing.

"How did it go?", Harry asked I didnt hear her answer because now it was mine turn to shine.

" Go get them tiger" I heard him shout behind my back.

The audience is so big I dont even know where to look. I turn on the mic and i'm sure everyone can see i'm shaking. "Stay cool Annabelle" I thought to myself.

”Good evening. What a pleasure to see such a big crowd today. I’m honered to sing for you. I hope you will enjoy the show because we have plenty of amazing singers who are excited to sing for you and we have a lot of surprises for you. I’m Annabelle and will sing ”Royals" by Lorde.

*applause*

The music goes on and I feel myself getting warmer and warmer as I admire the beautiful big audience.

” I've never seen a diamond in the flesh. I cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movies and I'm not proud of my address in the torn up town, no post code envy. But every song's like Gold teeth, Grey Goose trippin the bathroom..

The spotlight hits me over and over, I look around when I suddenly see a familiar facd on front row. I dont know if it's the spotlight flashes that make me see differently but the person looks so familiar.. It is... I think it's..
No it can't be..


"Bloodstains, ball gowns trashing the hotel room, we don't care, we're driving Cadillacs in our dreams. And we'll never be Royal .. "

It can't be true. It just can't. I'm dreaming. I must be dreaming.. It's my imagination. But why am I imagining this right now?

Haha, loved the awkward picture! And the TFIOS reference! Wow, so this is really the end, huh? Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful story with us! I know it takes a lot of time and effort. We've had this conversation in inbox already. You didn't delete my story, I got it removed due to copyright rules. NO I don't want you to share my story. No one else is allowed to take it and put it on random websites because they think it's good (not without my permission). If you didn't post it in the first place but instead waited for my answer then maybe I would have agreed to let you post it - but because you didn't wait and you uploaded it, took credit and lied to me, I won't let you do it.. End of story I really don't want to keep talking about it since we've already had this convo once and I don't like when people are lying especially not about simple things as a fanfiction..
