Losing It

All Of Me

I had finished my ballet practice and pointe work. Now, I'm going to rehearse a song we had choreographed in Choreo Class, a class teaching us how to be good choreographers. I found my Contemporary playlist on my phone, selecting the song.

I made my way to the middle of the dance studio, taking my starting position.

Harrys POV:

She turned on different music, something I've never heard before.

She started moving perfectly with the music, landing each and ever turn she started. She made almost no sound when she landed her leaps and jumps, which seemed impossible to me.

She looked so passionate about this dance. You could tell by her face that she wasn't concentrating too hard, it was full of emotion.

I watched her for the rest of the dance, completely mesmerized with her beauty. She truly was beautiful.

The song ended, she was out if breath. I took this time to show my existence, clapping my hands together.

She turned around quickly in response to the sudden loud noise I had caused with my hands.

"How long have you been here?" She asked, grabbing her water bottle from the small table in the corner if the room.

"Since before you started the dance," I replied as she turned off her music.

"So you saw that?" She asked shakily from the lack of oxygen, referring to the dance.

"Yeah," I said, shaking my head and looking down. "It was truly amazing," I continued.

"Thank you." She sighed.

"What song was that? It's beautiful." I stated, trying to start somewhat of a conversation.

"Uh, All Of Me by John Ledgend." She somewhat stuttered, which made me nervous. She was either hating the conversation, or she was nervous talking to me.

Ugh, what am I talking about, she's not nervous. Talking to me? Never.

She slid down into one of her splits, stretching.

"So, uhm, Lauren," I began. This is it. I'm going to ask her on a date.

"So, um, Harry," she mocked me. Ok so she obviously wasn't a nervous wreck like me.

"Would you like to go out with me tonight?" I asked quickly, preparing for the worst. A 'no, I'd never go out with you' answer.

"Hmm," she hummed, extending her arms out for me to help her up. I was quite suprised my her sudden change of attitude. "That sound great. What time should I be ready?" She asked, unplugging her phone from the stereo.

"Uh, uhm. Just, uh, around 5 pm?" I stuttered. Big time.

"Perfect. See you then." She said, walking up the basement stairs, leaving me by myself.

So. I have a real date tonight.
