Maddie’s P.O.V

-1 week later-

I sat in the studio with Polly, my song writer, writing my next single. This one is going to take so much longer than Fresh Start. It’s called ‘Broken Trust’. I think everyone can probably guess what it’s about. “How about this, how am I meant to forgive you, when you broke me once again, I gave you all my trust, and you just threw it awa-a-ay.” Polly asked. I nodded and she just sighed. “Do you want any input on this or what? All you do is nod. What is wrong with you today Maddie?” “I’m tired. Brooklyn is ill and has been keeping Harry and I awake all night. I didn’t get any sleep last night. I’m sorry. I’ll try and focus more.” I said. “Oh right, sorry.” We went back to writing the song. It took us ages to get the right lyrics for just about a minute of the song. “I think that will be enough for today. I can see that you’re exhausted. I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?” “Yeah. Sorry I wasn’t very cooperative.” I apologised. “I understand. I have a baby as well and when he was ill, my husband and I didn’t sleep. It’s awful I know.” I nodded and picked up my stuff. I left the studio and went home to Harry. “How was Uni?” He asked. “Tiring. Then I had work, urgh, I just wish I could stop all of this!” I dumped all my things in the hallway. Just then my phone rang. “Hello?” I answered. “Is this Madeline Anderson?” Someone asked. “Yes.” I confirmed. “Hi, I’m from Laura Ashley and I was wondering if you would like a fashion design job, it would mean that you graduate from University earlier because you have a career in your chosen subject. We’ve checked in and they think it would be a great idea for you.” “Are you being serious?” I struggled to hold in my excitement. The woman laughed. “Yes, I’m being serious. We also know that you are pregnant and are willing to let you start after the baby is born. So, what do you think?” “I’ll do it.” I said confidently. “Okay, can you come to the offices to sign some papers tomorrow and then you won’t have to go to University anymore and you’ll be a fashion designer for Laura Ashley.” “Okay that’s fine. Thank you.” I ended. We said goodbye and then I told Harry the news. “That’s amazing!” He picked me up. “I know.” I smiled down at him. “It also means more time for us to plan renewing our vows.” I pointed out. He smiled and put me down. “I can’t wait. But, on one condition. After we renew our vows, the Anderson is gone. I want Styles everything just to prove that you’re my girl.” “I was going to do that anyway.” I kissed his cheek and Brooklyn started crying. “Is she still not feeling well?” I asked. “Nope, I thought she was getting better but she’s still bad.” He told me. I went upstairs to see to her. She was crying her eyes out when I picked her up. “I know it hurts baby. Come on.” I rocked her in my arms. I spent an hour trying to calm her down and then she finally fell asleep again. Harry came upstairs and hugged me. “Is she okay?” “Yeah. For now.” I said. “What are you thinking about baby?” He asked me. “Just what happened with Belle. She was a complete bitch to me when I went to see her last week.” I sighed. “Forget about her.” He whispered and put Brooklyn in her crib. “You’ve got everyone you need right here.” He said.

-2 weeks later-

Harry and I are so close to finishing the planning for renewing our vows now. We’ve done the guest list, the venue, all the people working on it like caterers and people like that but now we’ve got to start work on writing our vows. This is going to be the hardest bit. We’ve set a date for 2 weeks’ time so we have 2 weeks to get everything prepared. I’m going to have the same dress and just add a few bits with it. I’m carrying Brooklyn with me down the aisle and Gemma is going to take her off of me at the end. Dani is my maid of honour and Louis is Harry’s best man. I’m going to have a proper hen do and we’re going to have a massive televised reception because Simon reckons we’ll gain more fans that way. I sat down at the table and started writing my vows when Harry walked in. I put my arm over the paper. “Whatcha doing?” He asked trying to look at the paper. “Writing my vows, go away!” I laughed. He laughed too and walked back out of the room. I continued writing my vows. After about an hour I was bored and couldn’t think of anything else to write so I just put them away and decided I’d do them another day.

-Skip to Hen Do-

“I’ll see you tomorrow okay?” I said kissing Harry. “Yeah, have fun and don’t forget that you’re pregnant.” He reminded me. “I know, I know. Bye.” I followed Dani out of the door. We got into her car and Perrie and El were already in there. “How does it feel?” Perrie asked. “Weird. I’m getting married tomorrow when I’ve already been married for almost a year.” I told them. “Yeah, but you and Harry have been through so much. You’re doing the right thing.” Dani pointed out. “I know. I’m still Miss Anderson at heart because I don’t feel like I’m truly a Styles.” “That’s why you’re doing this.” El said. We got to the hotel and went inside. We told the receptionist and she gave us the keys to our rooms. “Thanks.” I smiled. We went up to my room and sat down on the bed. “Are we gonna do Maddie and Dani, then me and Perrie?” El asked. The others nodded so I agreed. “I’m so nervous.” I admitted. “Don’t be. You’ve done this before!” They laughed. “I know, but if this time doesn’t work out then we’re going to end up splitting up.” “Harry adores you, you adore him. Why wouldn’t it work out?” Perrie said. “I don’t know…” I sighed. There was a knock on the door and Dani got up and opened it. “Hey Faye!” Dani hugged her. “Hi.” She said. I looked at the door. “Come here baby.” I opened my arms. She ran to me and hugged me. “You alright?” I looked at her. “Yeah, why are you and Harry getting married again?” “Because we need to. Nothing feels right at the moment so we’re going to start again.” I told her. She nodded and hugged me tighter. “Mum said that we can’t go and see Brooklyn tonight.” Faye pouted. “I think it’s best if you don’t. Harry is with the boys and they’ll probably be drunk. You don’t want to see them like that.” I replied. “Okay.” She said and Mum walked in. “Hi girls.” She waved at Dani, El and Perrie. “Hi,” They all said. “Sorry, I know we’re crashing your night but Faye really wanted to see Maddie.” “Oh no, it’s fine, don’t worry.” El said. “How are you feeling?” Mum turned to me. “Nervous. Tomorrow I’m going to be a proper Styles. No more Anderson.” I told her. “You’ll be fine. Harry makes you happy and you have a child with him and another one on the way.” She moved some of my hair out of my face. “I know. This is a big deal though. We’re showing that we trust each other. If this doesn’t work out then Harry and I will be over.” “It will work out. I see you and Harry and I see two people who love each other a lot. Me and your dad didn’t work out first time but look at us now. You’ll be fine baby. Stop worrying. Now, Faye and I are going to go and leave you girls to it.” She said. I nodded and hugged her goodbye. The girls and I talked for hours and then went to sleep.
