Harry’s P.O.V
I asked Maddie to be my girlfriend tonight. I was really nervous about it and originally I’d planned to ask her over dinner at my place but then she suggested we made it a date. I agreed because I wanted to ask her on a date but I couldn’t. She thought about it for a moment and then said yes. I’m over the moon. I know it’s going to be hard being away from her but we can make it work. I’m still here for another 3 weeks yet so we have plenty of time together before I leave. She knows I’m going away again to finish the tour. I’ll probably fly her out a few times when she’s on a break from uni but that isn’t going to be very often. I’m just so happy she had said yes. It would have been really awkward if she said no because we hadn’t even eaten then. When we got back, she told me she was going to be with Belle again tomorrow. I didn’t want her to have to hide her relationship from her best friend so I took her to the boys’ apartment and asked them if she could tell Belle. They said that she could so Maddie is going to bring Belle to my apartment tomorrow. I’m glad that Maddie doesn’t have to hide me anymore but I’m really nervous to meet her friend, she might tell people we live here, or freak out, or something like that. It’d mean we’d have to move and I dont’t want to move away from Maddie.
Maddie’s P.O.V
I’m now dating Harry and we’re telling Belle tomorrow. I already told her I have a surprise for her tomorrow. I really like Harry so I’m glad that he asked me to be his girlfriend. I know it’s going to be hard to be away from him but it’s his job and I respect that, I know that he has to go away and he knows that I’ll go home a lot. I’m going home for Christmas and he was pretty disappointed about that but if I don’t go home Faye will think something has happened to me. If we’re still together for Spring Break I might take him home with me then. I want him to meet my family but not too soon in case we break up.
I went and got changed into my pjs and sat in front of the TV. There was a knock on the door. I got up and opened it.
“Harry what are you doing here?” I said as he walked in.
“I didn’t get to say goodnight!” He said. Awh, he came to say goodnight.
“Oh okay,” I laughed. He came over and kissed me on the cheek.
“Goodnight baby,” he said. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips.
“Goodnight handsome,” I whispered. He smiled and picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed him again. He put me down and waved. I waved back and he walked out. He’s so cute. I decided to go to bed so I turned off the TV and walked into my bedroom. I plugged my phone in to charge and got into bed.
I woke up and had a shower. I decided to wear something really nice today and it’s sunny outside too. I put on my stripy bow top with some high waisted shorts and grey slip on shoes. I tied my hair up into a bun and put a bow in it, I left my nails turquoise. I waited for Belle to come over and grabbed my keys when she knocked on the door.
“So what’s my surprise?” She asked me.
“This, we’re going next door come on.” She looked confused. “You’ll see.” I told her. I knocked on Harry’s door and waited for him to answer it. Belle’s jaw dropped. I put my hand over her mouth to stop her from shouting and dragged her inside.
“You know Harry?” she shouted when I moved my hand.
“You could say that,” Harry put his arm around me.
“Wait, you hate boy bands.” She said.
“Yeah I know, but when I met Harry I didn’t know he was in a boy band, he was really nice and we got close.” I laughed.
“He has his arm around you! I think you’re more than close!” She shouted again.
“Yeah, we’re dating.” Harry told her. Her jaw dropped again.
“Mads, why didn’t you tell me?” she said, “so last night, you were going on a date with Harry?” She put the pieces together and I nodded. We explained why we hadn’t told her and then Harry called Niall to tell them to come round. When Belle saw them she was so starstruck, it was hilarious to see her opening her mouth and not saying anything as the rest of the boys walked in.
“We’re just normal people,” Louis told her, chuckling when he saw her reaction. “Maddie is dating one of us and she hates boy bands, she got to know Harry before she found out he was in a boy band so it shows that we are normal people.” He continued.
“I know it’s just weird because I never thought I’d meet you guys and you’ve lived in the same apartment block as me all along.” She explained when she’d gotten herself together.
“Yeah, we know it’s going to be weird for you but you can’t tell anyone.” Liam said sternly.
“I won’t!” Belle quickly replied.
“Right, we better get going Belle, see you later babe.” I said before kissing Harry on the cheek.
“Bye,” They all said. We left and went down to my car.
“I can’t believe you didn’t tell me Maddie!” she scolded.
“I know but after Harry told me he was in One Direction I knew you were a fan and it would have been dangerous to tell you. I’m sorry.” I explained to her.
“It’s alright; just don’t keep anything else from me, now why are we going shopping again? I thought you said you didn’t need anything!” I laughed.
“You like shopping and I do need stuff, I need casual clothes and stuff for uni.” She laughed at how unorganised I was. I start uni in 2 days and I still don’t have anything I need.
