Harry’s P.O.V

I woke up to the doorbell. I got up and pulled on some jeans and answered the door. “Hi,” Perrie said. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “I’ve come to get Brooke and some clothes for Maddie.” She said. “What? Why can’t Maddie just come home?” I questioned. “Hasn’t it clicked yet that maybe she doesn’t want to be around you? You hurt her bad Harry. Now all she wants is to see her daughter and have some clean clothes.” Perrie told me. “She’s not seeing Brooklyn.” I said. “What? You’re going to stop her from seeing her child? I thought you wanted her back Harry not to get rid of her.” She said obviously shocked. “She’s not seeing Brooklyn. I’m not the only one who’s done something wrong. She’s being a complete bitch at the moment and I might as well call Emma and get her to come round again.” I said not thinking. “Stop calling your wife a bitch for god sake! And if you want to do that go ahead, you’ll only end up losing your wife and kids. I’m getting her clothes and Brooklyn. I’ll bring Brooke back later. Don’t do anything stupid.” She pushed past me and went up the stairs. She was up there for a good 20 minutes and then she came down with a suitcase and Brooke. “You don’t deserve Maddie.” She walked out of the door.

Perrie’s P.O.V

Maddie was sat talking to Zayn when I got back. She walked over to me and I handed Brooklyn to her. “Hey princess,” she kissed Brooke’s head. “I got you some clean clothes too. Feel free to have a shower and get changed, we’ll look after Brooke.” I told her. She thanked us and gave Brooke to me. She took her suitcase upstairs and went to shower. “How is he?” Zayn asked me. “Being an idiot. He said Maddie was being a complete bitch and that he might as well call the girl and ask her to go round there again.” I said sitting down. “He’s unbelievable. If this was you and me I’d be doing everything to get you back not thinking about sleeping with another woman again.” Zayn said. “But that’s you; this is Harry we’re talking about. I can’t believe he called her a bitch again.” “What did you say?” “I told him to stop calling her a bitch and if he wanted to sleep with the other girl then go ahead but be prepared to lose his wife and kids. He wouldn’t even let me get Brooklyn I had to push past him to get her. Have you seen Maddie’s wrist?” I asked. “What the bruises? Yeah.” He replied. “I’m pretty sure Harry did that when she tried to get away from him yesterday. She was wearing El’s bracelet so I think El noticed.” I said. “Yeah, she really has no idea what to do. She wants to forgive him but she can’t because he really hurt her.” Zayn said. “I know, I told her she can stay here as long as she likes.” “Yeah that’s fine, she can. She’s basically my sister.” “That’s why I didn’t check because I knew you’d be fine with it.” I told him. He nodded and Maddie came back in. “I’m ready if you are?” She said. “Yep, let me just get my bag.” I stood up, kissed Zayn and gave Brooklyn to Maddie and picked up my bag. “Let’s go!” I said. We got into Maddie’s car and drove to the shopping centre. “You ready to spend some cash?” I asked Maddie as she put Brooke in the stroller. “Let’s do this.” She said. I laughed and we walked towards Forever 21. We looked at the dresses and tried a few on before finding one we liked. Maddie bought it along with some tops and a pair of jeans and I just got a new pair of shoes. Maddie put the bags on the stroller and we went to the next shop. We spent about 5 hours walking around the shops and in the end we had spent a couple of thousand between us. “My feet kill now,” Maddie complained. “Quit complaining! Lunch, let’s get lunch.” “Dinner more like, lunch passed three hours ago.” She laughed and we went to the food court. We ate some food and decided to go home. On the way home I got a text.

From: Harry
Keep Brooke tonight, I want Maddie to spend time with her. Sorry about earlier.

“Harry said you can keep Brooke tonight.” I told Maddie. “Okay, is that alright with you?” She checked. “I wish you would stop being paranoid! You’re like mine and Zayn’s sister and Brooklyn is our goddaughter, of course it’s okay with us. We love spending time with you two.” I said. She laughed. “Thanks.” We got back and went inside. “Jeez, how much did you spend?” Zayn asked. “Umm, a lot.” I laughed. Maddie went upstairs to take her stuff up. “Harry said Maddie can keep Brooke tonight, that’s okay right?” “Of course it is. But why did he change his mind so quickly?” He said. “Maybe he felt bad.” I suggested. “Or… he’s with her.” Zayn said quietly so Maddie didn’t hear. “Text Louis and tell him to keep an eye on Harry.” I told him. Maddie came back down and sat on the couch. “Good day?” Zayn asked. “Yeah, it was great thanks.” She replied. “You?” “All I did was play video games so it was okay I guess.” He laughed.

Maddie’s P.O.V

We watched a few movies and then I put Brooke to bed and stayed in my room. I’ve missed my princess so much. I got my phone out and turned it on; it was still off from the hen party. 4 new messages.

How you feeling? How’s your wrist?xx

I hope you’re alright now. Perrie said you’re staying with her and I hope you sort things out soon xx

I miss you Maddie. When are you coming to see us again?

From: Louis
I miss my next door neighbour :( please sort things out soon. Kayleigh and Sam miss you too. Come and see us sometime :)

I decided to reply to Faye first. “I miss you too but I don’t know darling. I’ll Skype you next week though okay?x” Next Eleanor, might as well reply to Louis at the same time. “I’m better today, my wrist is alright. Tell Louis I’ll come round tomorrow sometime xx” Last but not least, Dani. “Yeah I’m alright, I hope you and Liam are having fun. Enjoy yourselves xx” I sent them all, locked my phone and put it down on the nightstand. I got changed into my pyjamas and went to bed.
