Maddie’s P.O.V

“Did you hear that?” I asked Harry when we were lying in bed. “What? The thump, yeah.” He said. “It sounded like it came from the nursery.” I got out of bed. I walked into the nursery and Brooklyn was standing up against the bars of her crib, she obviously hit something when she stood up. “Haz, come here.” I said walking over to Brooklyn. He came in and when he saw her his face lit up. “You’re a clever girl!” He took her out of her crib. She smiled and we both laughed. “Maybe we should think about moving her into her room a bit sooner. Plus, I want to start potty training her when she can walk and then she needs to be able to get out of bed then.” I told him. “Yeah okay, let’s get Danielle and Liam’s wedding out of the way first, I hope you haven’t forgotten that it’s tomorrow.” Harry reminded me. “Oh I know, I got a very excited text from Danielle. Anyway, I better go and feed little miss clever clogs.” I took Brooklyn from him and walked downstairs. I fed her and then Harry came down fully dressed. “You’re staying with the girls at the hotel tonight right?” “Yeah why?” “Just wondering, the lads are all going to Louis’ so I’m going to join them.” “Okay babe, that’s fine.” I smiled. I went upstairs to get dressed. When I got back downstairs Harry was playing with Brooklyn and some of the new toys we had bought her. We basically sat around all day playing with Brooklyn and then I went to get ready for Dani’s hen do. I had been upstairs for about 10 minutes when I heard giggling downstairs. “Babe, are you ready? The girls are here.” Harry shouted up to me. “Yeah hang on!” I zipped up my bags before running downstairs. All the girls were at the bottom of the stairs with Harry. “Have fun, don’t get too drunk.” Harry said. “I won’t, well I probably will but oh well, see you tomorrow, look after Brooklyn.” “I mean it Maddie. You’re pregnant, no.” “Urgh fine, but I’m allowed one drink.” I argued. “Only one, keep an eye on her okay,” he turned to the others. “We will! Bye! Try to keep them from getting too drunk.” Eleanor said. I kissed Harry and walked out the door behind the others. We’re going to stay at the hotel because the wedding and reception are being held there and we’re just going to sit around talking as a hen do. I didn’t have a hen do because Brooke and Faye were over, Perrie had one but it was more of a family party than a hen do and I couldn’t go because I had to look after Brooklyn and this time I can’t drink. We all got into my car and drove to the hotel. “I can’t believe I’m getting married tomorrow!” Danielle squealed when we were getting out of the car. “Enjoy freedom!” I told her. We walked into the hotel. “Danielle Peazer,” Dani told the receptionist. “Ah yes, you’re the one who’s getting married here tomorrow correct?” “Yes.” “Well, enjoy your stay, the rooms are joined together. Oh and it’s already paid for.” She handed Dani two sets of keys. “By who?” Dani asked. “Urm, a Mr Payne.” She told us. Dani smiled and thanked the receptionist before we went up to our rooms. “Liam’s so sweet.” Danielle said. “We’re not here to adore Liam, we’re here to enjoy your freedom!” Eleanor reminded her when she opened the door. “I know, I know, you’re going to be the only one in the group who isn’t married or even engaged.” Dani threw her things on the bed and we put ours on the floor. “How are we going to do this? Who’s with who?” Perrie asked. “Dani, who do you want to be with?” “I can’t choose! It’s not fair!!” She said. “How about, Pez and I next door and you and El in here.” I suggested. “Yeah okay.” “I’m fine with it as long as you don’t kick me in your sleep or something!” Perrie laughed. “Harry has woken up complaining that I hit him before but it was only because I deliberately did it and blamed it on sleep, he pissed me off so yeah.” I laughed. The others laughed too. “Remind us never to piss you off or you’ll hit us in your sleep! What did Harry do?” “I think he had a go at me for working or something like that, I don’t even know! I just felt like hitting him.” I said. Dani and Perrie were laughing and El was sitting on the bed looking at her phone. “What’s the matter?” I asked. “This is the first time I’ve been away from the twins.” She told us. “They’ll be okay, the boys have got them,” Dani said. “Call Louis quickly if it will make you feel better but then we’ll all turn our phones off, yes?” She continued. “I’m not turning mine off. I’ll put it on silent but I need to know if anything happens to Brooklyn.” I said. “Of course, two worried mums, fun.” Perrie said. “I’m not worried, that’s just El.” “Hey! I’m gonna call Louis.” She said unlocking her phone. “Put it on speaker then,” Perrie instructed. She put it on speaker and it rang a couple of times. “El? What’s the matter?” Louis asked, we could hear the others in the background. “Are the twins okay?” She questioned. “They’re fine, Harry isn’t drinking because of Brooklyn so he said if I get drunk he’ll look after them, don’t worry. Have fun.” He said. “It’s the first time I’m not with them.” El pointed out. “I know love, don’t worry about them. They’ll be fine, we’ll call if anything happens, now have fun, get drunk, bitch about people or whatever you girls do and stop worrying!” He ordered. She laughed. “Tell the others we love them!” Dani shouted. “Am I on speaker?” Louis asked. “Yep,” I laughed. “Might as well put you on speaker then!” He said. “It’s the girls,” We heard him say. “I miss youuuuuu Daniiii.” Liam said making us laugh. “Is he drunk already??” Dani asked. “Urm, yeah.” Harry said. “I love you babe,” I said. “Love you too gorgeous.” He replied. I smiled. “Perrieeeeee.” Zayn said. “Oh my god. He’s drunk too.” Perrie said. “Is Niall drunk?” We asked. “Woah, did all four of you just say that at the same time?” Louis questioned. “Yeah, is he?” “Yep, it’s only me and Harry who aren’t. And I’m probably going to stay sober and Harry definitely is because he wants to be able to look after Brooklyn.” Louis replied. “Okay, we’re going to go, love you all!” Eleanor said. “We love you girls too, byeee.” Harry and Louis said and then hung up. “Right, phones off.” Danielle said. El and I put our phones on silent and the others turned theirs off. “I love the way Harry calls you gorgeous Maddie.” Dani said. I sat down on the bed next to Perrie. “Me too,” I smiled. “What do the boys call you?” I asked. “Zayn calls me Pez and sometimes babe but that’s it really.” “Is it?” I was surprised. “Liam calls me babe and sweetheart,” Dani told us. “Louis calls me El and love.” El said. “Do they only call you two names each? They need lessons from Harry.” I said. “Go on then, what does he call you?” “Mads, Maddie, babe, gorgeous, beautiful, sexy after sex,” I laughed at that one. “Baby, sweetheart, darling, love, erm, I think that’s it.” I finished. “Wow.” They all said. I laughed. “I remember when I first met you Maddie and you were so shy, what happened?” Dani laughed. “Erm, I got to know you guys I guess.” I answered. “Oh right, we should get alcohol, I’m not letting the guys get drunk and not us.” “I’m not allowed.” I pouted. “Shouldn’t have gotten knocked up again then!” Perrie laughed. “It wasn’t exactly my fault, to be honest, it was Liam’s.” I said causing Dani’s mouth to drop. “What?” She said and I realised how bad that must have sounded. “No, no, no, no, no. Liam took me to Harry’s room when I was in L.A, that’s when I got pregnant. Liam took me there so it was his fault, do you understand now?” I asked. “Oh yeah, god you had me worried there!” Dani breathed a sigh of relief and Perrie ordered a couple of bottles of wine. “I can’t not talk about the boys!” Perrie blurted out. We laughed. “El, have you and Louis had sex yet since the twins were born?” Dani asked. “Urr… yeah.” She said quietly. “When?” I probed. The twins are only 3 weeks old! “After the Brits. He told me if they won both awards then he’d have sex with me and they did so he did, and it felt so good.” She smiled thinking about it. “Oh my god! I can’t believe he said that.” Perrie giggled. There was a knock at the door and I got up and answered it. “We had a call saying Maddie is only allowed one drink, from her husband I think, here you go.” The woman gave me two bottles of wine. “Okay, thanks.” I shut the door. “God, now he even calls the hotel, he’s so overprotective.” “Tell me about it.” I handed them the wine. “Maddie, have you and Harry had sex since you found out you were pregnant?” “Ooh! I can answer this one!” El said and I laughed remembering that we left Brooklyn with them. “She has, she left Brooke with me and Louis and then Harry picked her up and took her home, apparently they couldn’t wait until they got upstairs either because Louis found her top in the living room.” She said. “I can explain okay! But we’ve actually had sex 3 times since I found out but that’s it now.” I told them sitting down again. “Go on then, explain!” They said pouring the wine. They handed me a glass and I put it down on the bedside table. “It was the day after I went on Alan Carr and he actually made me sleep in the spare bedroom because I said I liked kissing Niall. He picked out my clothes for the next day and left them on the bed and the underwear was red Victoria’s Secret. He left a note saying he expected to see it again later and yeah he decided that he was going to fuck me. It actually killed. I couldn’t walk after.” I explained. “Is he rough?” “So rough, I feel like he’s ripping my insides.” “Oh babe, I think Brooke already did that.” They laughed. “Yeah…” I said picking up my drink. “You’re not really going to make me stick to just one drink are you?” I asked. They all shook their heads. “I love you girls!” I smiled. “Harry’s gonna get so pissed with you! Just as long as he doesn’t have a go at you at my wedding.” Dani said. I laughed. “He wouldn’t dare,” I told her. “What about the other two times?” “One time he was bored because I was writing an essay for Uni and he came downstairs and started kissing me and trying to get me to stop so I told him if he just left me alone to finish my essay then I was all his so when I had finished we had sex and the other time was when we were in Hawaii. Oh my god that was the best.” I said. “How was your holiday? Apart from sunny.” They asked looking at my tanned arms. “It was amazing, I had literally no idea that we were going until the day before. The whole holiday was so romantic though. One night he booked us a table at a really posh restaurant and ordered for me and all that romantic stuff and whilst we were waiting for our food he was telling me how much he loves me and everything. It was the best and definitely made up for our honeymoon being cut short.” I told them. “What have you actually done to him? He’s changed so much since he met you; he’s actually protective over someone and doesn’t want to let you go. He used to bring back different girls every night.” Eleanor said. “I don’t know but how many girls were there? I asked him before and he just said I didn’t need to know.” I inquired. “Urm, I guess he has slept with about 50 girls.” Perrie said, “He was never still at the club at the end of the night when we went out.” I nearly choked on my drink. “Really? 50?!” “Yeah, but he stopped as soon as he met you. Throughout the times you were broken up he didn’t have any girls either.” Dani told me. “There was that one girl,” El said but she shut up when Dani and Perrie gave her a death stare.
