Maddie’s P.O.V
“Maddie for fuck sake hurry up! El said you were meant to be at hers 20 minutes ago!!” Harry shouted up the stairs to me. “Shut up Harry! You shouting at me isn’t going to make me move any faster!” I shouted back pulling up my jeans. I checked my appearance in the mirror and ran downstairs. I pulled on my converses and grabbed my handbag off of the banister. “Finally, now have a good day,” Harry kissed me on the cheek. “You too.” I said running out of the door. I got next door and they all turned to look at me. “Decided to make an appearance then,” Dani said. “I’m so sorry. I couldn’t find an outfit. Let’s go.” I took my keys out of my bag. I unlocked my car and we all got in. “Where is this dress shop?” I turned to Dani. She told me the address and I pulled out of the driveway and started to drive there. The others talked but I just stayed quiet. “Maddie, are you okay?” Perrie asked when we pulled up. “I’m fine, why?” “You’re really quiet, you’re never quiet.” She replied. “I’m just tired.” We walked into the dress shop. Danielle spoke to the woman for a few minutes and then we were led into a room similar to the one at the dress shop I got my wedding dress from. We all looked around picking out random dresses for Danielle to try on. Once she had gone to change El turned to me. “Seriously, what’s going on with you?” “This is all reminding me of my wedding, I just want to relive my wedding day.” I admitted. Danielle walked out wearing one of the dresses. “Why don’t you talk to Harry about renewing your vows? You can have a massive ceremony for that and it’s basically another wedding.” Danielle pointed out. “Yeah maybe, it depends; Harry probably won’t want to do that. Weddings cost a bomb, plus we’ve got Brooke and the baby to think about now.” “Well, if you want my opinion, if you two split up again, you really should. Write your own vows so it’s special to you guys and not just something everyone says. You guys have been through so much together and you basically fell out of love, maybe if you do that then you will remember what you mean to each other but that’s just my opinion and I’m not even married so what would I know, but anyway, what do you think?” Danielle twirled in her dress. “Ermm,” we all said. “So it’s a no then?” She laughed. We nodded and she walked back into the changing room. We looked around at all the dresses and Danielle came out of the changing room wearing a different one. Again we said no and she went back in and got changed. It got to about the 20th dress. “I’m gonna give up soon, this one?” She asked. We all turned to her. “That one.” Perrie said, “Definitely.” El replied. “You look gorgeous,” I told her. She smiled. “This one it is then!” She went back into the changing room and got changed into her clothes again. Then we started to look at bridesmaid dresses. Dani has decided that she wants lilac bridesmaid dresses. After about 2 hours of trying on various dresses we all found one we liked and went to show Dani. She studied it for a while and then nodded. “That one is perfect. Go and get changed and then we’ll pay for them.” She said. The dress is knee length and a dark lilac colour; it’s strapless and has a flower on the side. We all got changed and walked back out with our dresses. “Maddie, get the size bigger just in case.” Danielle told me. I agreed and picked out a 6 instead of a 4. Dani paid for the dresses and we went back to my car. “Where are you keeping your dress?” El asked. “The hotel the wedding is at said we could drop them off there today and they’ll look after them for us.” Dani replied. I got into the car and waited for the others. “Should we go straight there then?” I questioned. “Yeah, let’s go.” I drove to the hotel and we dropped off our dresses and went back to El’s. We could hear crying outside and couldn’t work out which house it was coming from so the girls went into Eleanor and Louis’ and I went home to check on Harry and Brooklyn. I unlocked the door and Harry was sitting on the couch trying to calm Brooke down. “What’s the matter?” I asked. “She fell and hit her head, she was trying to stand up but didn’t have a good enough grip on the couch.” Harry told me. I walked over to him and took Brooke off of him. “Did my baby fall over?” I said hugging her. “Did you find the dresses?” “Yep, all sorted now. Dani and Liam just have a couple more bits to do and they’re ready.” I answered. “That’s good, we might want to start childproofing the house.” Harry laughed as Brooklyn quietened down. “Yeahh… We need stair gates and stuff.” I agreed. “Well, are you working tomorrow after Uni?” “Nope,” “Well then let’s go and get what we need then.” “Yeah okay, I finish at 2.” I told him. “I’m going next door, wanna come?” I said. “Yeah okay,” We got up and went next door. I walked in holding Brooklyn and Eleanor was trying to get Kayleigh to be quiet. “Both houses then huh?” Perrie laughed. “Yeah, Brooke hit her head.” I sat next to her. “Kayleigh is just being Kayleigh.” Louis sighed. “Couldn’t be our saviour again could you?” Eleanor looked at me. “I’ll give it a try,” I handed Brooke to Perrie and walked over to Eleanor and Kayleigh. El handed Kayleigh to me and I rocked her in my arms for about 10 minutes until she started to go to sleep. “You can’t put her down now, she’ll cry again.” Louis laughed. “Oh good, I don’t know why she’s like this for me.” I sat down. “Do you want to swap daughters?” Eleanor suggested. “I think I’ll stick with Brooklyn thanks, have you got anything I can put Kayleigh in?” Louis handed me a Moses basket and I put Kayleigh in it on the floor. She just carried on sleeping. “Erm, I think Brooke needs changing…” Perrie held her away from her. “Harry,” I looked at him and he just stepped back. “Thanks for your help.” I stood up and took Brooklyn off of Perrie and went home to change her. When I got back they were all talking but went quiet when I walked in. “Don’t stop talking on my account, I’ll leave again if you want.” I said awkwardly. “No, it’s fine.” Dani said. I sat down and Dani asked to hold Brooklyn and I gave Brooke to her. We talked again for a few hours until we decided to go home. “And for the record, I’m not coming to help you put Kayleigh to sleep tonight,” I said as I left. Eleanor and Louis laughed and we went home.

Harry’s P.O.V

“What were you talking about when I came back?” Maddie asked as I opened the front door. “Nothing you need to worry about.” I said trying to cover up the fact that we were talking about our holiday to Hawaii. “Don’t tell me then,” she said walking upstairs with Brooke. I sighed and went into the kitchen. I sat on my phone for a while until I started to wonder where Maddie was. I put my phone in my pocket and walked up the stairs. Maddie was in bed and when I looked closer at her face she had tear marks, all because I didn’t tell her what we were talking about. I moved a strand of hair away from her face and she flinched proving she was awake. “Babe, look at me.” I whispered. She opened her eyes which were red from crying. “I love you okay, and what we were talking about was a surprise which I have for you. I’ll tell you on Friday what it is but until then don’t cry please. I love you so much.” I kissed her forehead. “Okay, I’m sorry.” She sniffed. “No, don’t apologise, it’s fine. Now, I’m going to get ready for bed and then we can go to sleep together yeah?” I suggested. She nodded and I walked into the bathroom to get ready for bed. I came back out and climbed into bed making it dip. Maddie turned over to face me and I kissed her. “I love you Haz,” she whispered. “I love you too baby, are you taking Brooklyn to nursery tomorrow?” I asked. “Yeah, goodnight,” she replied. I put my arm around her waist and we fell asleep.

I woke up and Maddie was already gone. I looked at the time and it was 10am, Maddie will have left just over an hour ago. I got up and dressed and then thought of something to do. That’s when I remembered that I have to pack. I got my suitcase down from the shelf in the wardrobe and started to fill it up. I was just finishing packing when I heard the front door open. I zipped up the suitcase and put it back on the shelf. I ran downstairs to see who it was. “Fuck Louis, I thought you were Maddie.” I said when I saw Louis at the door. “Oh right, sorry, what were you doing?” He asked. “Packing. Why are you here?” I replied. “I came to see if you wanted to come over but you’re in a bad mood so forget it.” He turned around. “Wait, I will but why couldn’t you just text me that?” “I don’t know, I felt like coming round, where’s Brooke?” He looked around. “At nursery. Let’s go.” I pulled on my shoes and got my keys off of the rack. We walked out of the house and I locked the door. We went next door and El was sitting on the sofa. “Where are the twins?” I asked as I walked in. “Asleep, finally.” El told me. “I’ve got all that to come, again.” I groaned sitting down. “But it’s worth it isn’t it? You know it’s only you that really wants the baby.” She said. “I know, I don’t get why Maddie doesn’t want it.” I answered. “Maybe because she’s 23 and actually wants a life?” Louis sat down. “I’m 22 but I’m not complaining.” “You’re different people mate, she probably thinks it’s too much responsibility for someone her age. You’re both young and having 2 kids is a lot of responsibility.” Louis reminded me. “I know…” “Plus, she’s famous now, put yourself in her shoes, she got enough criticism when she got pregnant with Brooke but how’s it going to look when she reveals that she’s pregnant again. She’s worried what people think of her. Also, she wants to do something other than be a mum and wife. She wants to be her own person but two kids to look after is going to take a lot of commitment meaning she won’t be able to do other things.” Eleanor pointed out. “I guess…” We sat talking for a couple of hours until I got a text from Maddie.

I’ve picked up Brooklyn from nursery already so meet me at IKEA okay, see you soon x

“I’ve got to go and meet the wife, see you later.” I said standing up. “Bye,” They said. I got into my car and drove to IKEA. I looked around and saw Maddie with a small crowd around her. Great. I took my phone out of my pocket and texted her. “Get rid of them and I’ll come over, until then, you’re on your own love.x” I watched her as she took her phone out of her pocket. She looked around and when she spotted me laughed in my direction. She said something to the people around her and they all turned to look at me. Thanks Maddie. Maddie ran into the shop and the fans came over to me. “Harry! Can you sign this?” “Harry can I have a picture?” They all shouted. I signed things and took pictures as fast as I could. I must have been there for a good ten minutes until I had finished. They all left and I walked into the shop where Maddie was waiting. “I hate you.” I said taking Brooklyn off of her. “Sorry, should have helped me then.” She walked to the escalator. We went upstairs and went to the child bit. We found the safety gates and Maddie picked up a couple and put them down again. “I’ll hold Brooke, you take those.” She laughed. I smiled and handed Brooke to her. I picked up the gates and she walked around. I found a trolley and put the gates into it following after Maddie. She started to fill up the trolley. “How much money do you think I have woman?” I asked. “Lots, you’re a millionaire babe.” She laughed still filling the trolley. She picked up catches for the drawers and cupboards as well as safety plugs. When she had finished filling up the trolley with child proofing items she moved on to the home furnishing section. I swear we were in IKEA for hours. The total came to over £150. I paid and Maddie packed everything into bags. She put the bags into the trolley again and we went to my car. We put all the stuff into the car and Maddie went back to her car. I put the trolley back and got into my car and drove home. I got back and unloaded the stuff into the house. Maddie started to unpack the bags. When the bags were unpacked she handed me a load of things. “The drill is in the cupboard with the screwdriver, have fun!” She laughed walking into the living room with a few cushions. I groaned and opened the cupboard getting the stuff out. “You might want to take Brooklyn next door, she’s not going to like the drill.” I said. “Good point.” Maddie replied as she picked Brooke up and went next door. I put the safety gates up and moved on to putting the catches on the drawers and cupboards. I put everything away and cleared up before going to join Maddie next door. “Have you sorted everything out?” She asked as I walked in. “Yes boss.” I sat next to her. “And you know it.” She smiled. “I think we know who wears the trousers in your house.” Louis said. “Shut up Louis.” Eleanor told him. He sat back and Maddie and I laughed. “I think we know too. We’re whipped mate.” I looked at Louis. He laughed. “Do you want to have dinner here? I’m guessing you won’t want to cook.” Louis said. I looked at Maddie and she shrugged. “Yeah, if that’s alright with you.” I replied. “Of course it is, chicken alright?” He got up. “Yeah that’s fine.” He walked into the kitchen and I decided to join him. “So, how’s parenthood?” I leant on the counter. “Good but tiring. You could have warned me.” He answered getting stuff out of the fridge. “Sorry.” “Don’t worry about it, how are things with you and Maddie now?” “It’s way better than it was. She got upset last night because I wouldn’t tell her what we were talking about yesterday but she’s alright now. Do you have any idea what the girls dresses are like? Maddie won’t tell me.” I said. “Nah, El won’t tell me either, all I know is that they’re lilac. What did Maddie have you putting up?” He questioned. “Stair gates, Brooke is starting to stand up and stuff now so it won’t be long until she can walk.” He laughed. “That must be great to see; all the twins do is eat, cry and sleep.” Louis complained. “But it means you get to see Eleanor’s boob,” I laughed. He laughed too. “True, I guess that’s one upside.” “This is such a weird question but does El change in front of you?” “Yeah, why?” He turned to me. “Maddie won’t. She always goes into the bathroom.” “It’s not like you haven’t seen it before, you have sex with her like every other day.” He joked. “I do not. It’s only like every week.” “If you say so,” he muttered turning back to cooking. I smiled. “When are you gonna tell her about Hawaii then?” Louis asked quietly. “Tomorrow, I’ll pack for her whilst she’s at Uni and then I’ll tell her when she gets back. We leave at like 4 in the morning on Saturday.” “What time are you dropping Brooklyn off then?” He inquired. “I’m gonna drop her off tomorrow evening. Zayn said that’s better than waking him up.” “Of course he did, you know, I miss touring already.” He admitted. “Me too, but I think they’re planning a mini tour of like 10 or 15 shows for us soon.” I agreed. “Ooh, Maddie is gonna love that.” “Yeah, well not everything in my life is about her.” I told him. “Don’t let her hear you say that.” Louis said putting the chicken in the oven. He walked into the dining room and I followed after him. We sat at the table discussing Hawaii when Eleanor and Maddie came in. “What are you talking about?” Eleanor asked. “You know, kids, and guy stuff.” Louis replied. “What the fuck is guy stuff?” El laughed. “I don’t know. I only said that to make us seem manlier.” Louis said. The girls laughed and Louis went to check on dinner. He came back and sat back down. Maddie and El started to talk so we just joined in their conversation. Louis left half way through to dish up dinner and then gave it to us with knives and forks. “Thanks for doing this.” Maddie said. “No problem, plus, now you can help us put Kayleigh to bed.” Louis laughed. “Is that why you did this?” I asked, “No, but it’s an advantage.” We all ate dinner and then Maddie helped to get Kayleigh to sleep. Then we went home and went to bed because it was getting late.

Enjoy! I'm going to extend this a bit and have it up to Chapter 65/70, I keep extending it because I'm not sure where I want to finish it but I know now. I have an event that I'm going to finish it on.
