Maddie’s P.O.V
I woke up for work and got dressed before going to my car. I drove to the office and got out of my car. I walked into the studio and Chris stormed over to me. “Right, this is it Maddie! We need you to put in the hours for this job or it just won’t work.” He shouted. “I’ve told you already that I’m not giving up my family for this job!” I said. “You can’t have both, you have to choose.” He told me. “Then I choose family!” I said walking out of the studio. “Maddie, where are you going? You still haven’t completed your music video.” Simon asked when he saw me. “Home, Chris told me it was this job or family and I’m choosing family.” He looked surprised. “Chris told you what?” “That it’s my job or my family and I chose my family.” I told him. “Well Chris has no right to do that. I’ve spoken to you and we’ve agreed that you can do shorter hours. I know you and Harry and you’re both family oriented people, I know how much your family mean to you as much as this job so you don’t have to choose. You can do shorter hours and from now on you deal with me okay. And Harry told me about your situation and I’m willing to give you as much time off as you need.” He said. “Okay, what situation?” I asked confused. “Your pregnancy,” he said quietly. “Oh right, yeah, thanks,” I said. “I’m going to speak to Chris but you can leave now and come in tomorrow after Uni okay?” “Yeah sure, see you tomorrow.” I said before leaving. I got into my car and drove home. Harry was making lunch. “Hey, you’re back early.” “Yeah, there was a problem so Simon said I could come home.” I said. “Okay, you do realise that the Brits are next week right? You’re invited. Simon told me you’re nominated for two awards.” He checked. “What?” “You’re nominated for two awards.” “Really? Are you sure that isn’t you?” I said shocked. “We’re nominated for two, you’re nominated for two.” He told me. “Oh okay.” I sat down at the dining table. “Brooklyn stood up for the first time today, she pulled herself up using the TV unit.” Harry said. “Awh, did you take a picture?” “Yeah, it’s on twitter.” He replied. I went onto twitter and saw Harry’s tweet. “My baby girl’s growing up :)” I laughed and continued to scroll through my feed. There were quite a few tweets about Brooke. “Awh she’s so adorable, I know what Harry means about her changing.” One fan tweeted. “Awh, these are really cute.” I locked my phone. “I know babe, all because of our little girl.” Harry kissed me on the cheek. “How’s El?” I asked. “Umm, I don’t know, Louis hasn’t told me anything today.” He answered. “I’m gonna go and see her then, have fun!” I said picking up my bag and going next door. I walked in and Louis was watching TV. “Hey, where’s El?” I asked. “Sleeping, she hasn’t been feeling well for a couple of days, I wish she’d just have them already so she can stop suffering.” “I feel really sorry for her.” I said. “Me too, you’re going to be like this again soon.” He reminded me. “I hope not, I hate being ill,” I confessed. “You don’t want the baby do you?” He turned to me. “How did you know?” I questioned. “I can tell. Why don’t you want it?” “It’s too much commitment and I’m scared Harry is going to leave me and I’ll be a single mum with two kids.” I admitted. “Maddie, he’s going to be with you every single step of the way. He loves you and will never leave you, trust me.” He said. “Hey,” El walked in and sat down next to Louis. “How are you feeling, love?” Louis asked her. “I still feel bad but I can’t sleep, I just want them out of me already.” She complained. “I’m gonna go and leave you two to it, I hope you feel better soon.” I hugged El before leaving and going home. “How is she?” Harry asked with his eyes glued to the TV. “Yeah, she’s alright but she said she still feels sick.” I told him.
-Skip 1 day-
My phone started to ring and I looked at it, its 5am for god sake. Louis. “Hello?” I said. “Maddie, El needs you, sorry to wake you up, she’s gone into labour, we’re at the hospital.” Louis told me. “Okay, I’ll be there in about 20 minutes. See you soon.” I hung up and got out of bed. I got dressed and ran downstairs getting into my car. I drove to the hospital and the receptionist told me where El was. I went to her and Louis was sitting by her side. I walked in. “Hey,” I said. “Hiya,” Louis replied. “What’ve they said?” “Anytime now, she just has to keep breathing in and out.” He laughed. I smiled and sat on the opposite side of El. Louis and I were with her for the whole time she was giving birth before she finally had finished. It took her about 2 hours to get them out. Harry called me and asked where I was and I told him, he said he’d come to the hospital but I told him not to bother. El was holding the girl and Louis had the boy. “What are you going to call them?” I asked. Eleanor looked at Louis and he nodded. “Kayleigh and Sam. Kayleigh Joanne and Samuel Jamie.” She said. I smiled. “They’re really nice names.” I said. “Here,” Eleanor handed Kayleigh to me. “Are you sure?” “Yeah, I just want to sleep, I’m so tired.” She told me so I took Kayleigh off of her and cradled her in my arms. In about 8 months this is going to be me with my baby. The doctor came in and checked the twins over before saying we could leave. Louis woke El up and I took Kayleigh to their car for them. They got in and I went to my car and drove home after them. I decided to leave them to it for a while and go home to Harry and Brooklyn.
-The Brits-
Harry’s P.O.V
We stepped out of the van to screaming fans, despite Maddie and I both attending the Brits tonight we had to travel separately. We walked down the red carpet to where interviewers were waiting for our arrival. "Hi boys, how does it feel to be attending the Brit Awards for the 5th time?" "It's great, we can't believe we're still going strong nearly 6 years on." Niall said. "Harry and Zayn, your wives are both performing tonight, are you looking forward to seeing them perform?" "Yeah it's going to be amazing, Maddie is performing her new single and it's going to be the first time she's performed it live. It's gonna be good." I replied. "Where are they at the moment?" The interviewer continued. I looked around. "I don't actually know." I said honestly. "Perrie is with the other girls getting ready," Zayn answered. We continued our interview for a while before the fans started screaming again. I focused on the interview. "Harry, isn't that your wife?" The interviewer asked. I turned to look. I spotted Maddie wearing a gorgeous dress walking towards us. I turned back. "Yeah it is, she looks gorgeous." I smiled. The boys laughed and I felt someone come up behind me. I turned to see Maddie. "See you inside handsome, sooner rather than later please, I don't know these people!" she whispered in my ear before kissing my cheek and walking inside. I laughed. "What did she say?" The boys asked. "Don't worry!" I shook it off. We finished the interview before walking inside. I saw Maddie and walked over to her. She was sitting at a table with Ed Sheeran and I knew it was our table. I kissed her on the cheek and sat next to her with the boys following behind me. "I see you've met Ed?" I laughed. "Yeah, he's been telling me embarrassing stories about you," she grinned. I gave Ed a glare and he smiled. Taylor Swift was opening the show but she was also sitting at our table. She came on and sang her new single which is nowhere near as good as Maddie's. Maddie was up next after the first few awards. She's nominated for two awards but they don't come up until near the end and then she has been chosen for one specific award. She had to go backstage to get ready for her performance. Taylor came out and sat down. "Harry." She said sternly. "Taylor." I replied in the same tone. We hadn't exactly left on good terms. She hates me for breaking up with her but hey, she got a song out of it. They announced a few awards before Maddie's performance. I could tell she was really nervous. She was absolutely amazing. After finishing her performance she had to present an award which we were nominated for. It was for Best Group Single, "and the winner is," she opened the envelope and rolled her eyes. "One Direction!!" We stood up and went to the stage. The boys hugged her and I kissed her quickly. She handed Louis the award and the boys all stepped back to give me the job of making the speech. "Thank you for all your incredible support and continuing to win us awards. We love you guys, and I'm so happy I'm the first Styles of the night to win an award or this one would wind me up for ages!" I poked Maddie. Everyone laughed and Liam finished it up. We walked backstage and I picked up Maddie bridal style. "Congratulations!!" She said before leaning up to kiss me. "Thank you gorgeous, I love you." I smiled. "I love you too," she smiled back. We went back to our table and sat for a while with Taylor giving Maddie dirty looks the whole time. Maddie just ignored her. It came time for Best Newcomer's Single, one of the awards Maddie was nominated for. "and the winner is, Maddie Anderson with Fresh Start!!" Maddie looked so shocked. She stood up and I hugged her. She hugged the other boys before going up on stage. "I'm genuinely so shocked by this, I can't believe it. Thank you so so much for this. And Styles, we're equal now!" She said holding up her Brit and looking in my direction. I laughed and she went backstage. "Why did she win? Her single was shit." Taylor remarked. I clenched my fists but Liam noticed and held me back. "Shut up Taylor," Louis said noticing my anger. Maddie came back to sit with us. I held her hand and we listened to some more awards. Ed won one and then it was time for Maddie's nomination again. This time for Best Female Solo Artist, she was up against Taylor and Adele. "And the winner is, Maddie Anderson!" She was in complete awe this time. She really thought Adele would win. She collected her award. "Honestly, I must have some amazing fans out there, I can't believe I won when I was up against the likes of Taylor Swift and Adele. I'm not even British! Thank you so much for this, I can't believe I only released a single 4 weeks ago and now I'm winning awards. It's crazy! I love you guys!" She said before walking off the stage again. Taylor was in complete meltdown. Maddie came back to our table and sat down again. We got another award and that was us done for the show. We watched until it came to the last 3 awards. "This award is for the best female role model, there was no nominations for this. Our description is going to give her away but here goes. She grew up in California and spent the first 16 years of her life living normally before she was snapped up as a model. She's suffered depression and self-harm before moving the UK to go to University, little did she know that she was moving in next to her future husband," Maddie was in complete shock yet again knowing they were describing her. "Her life changed when she started to date him and then fell pregnant but she carried on. She didn't give up. She receives hate daily and has learnt to cope with it. She is now a model again and a great singer. This girl deserves this. She released a single only 4 weeks ago and already it has topped charts across the world, even in America. This girl is of course, singer of Fresh Start, and wife of Harry Styles, Madeline Styles." Maddie stood up and walked towards the stage. She reached the mic. and was still speechless. "I-I can't believe it. Thank you all so so much for this, I'm shocked that I was even considered for this, I really don't see myself as a role model but thanks so much. This is amazing. I used to be a normal girl and now I'm winning three Brits. It's crazy! Thanks Harry!" She laughed. "No I'm joking, people think I use Harry for his fame but I really don't. I didn't even know who he was when I met him. I said that if he'd told me he was in a boy band when we first met I would have shut the door in his face. I was lucky enough to be signed to release a single but I have worked hard for success. I wouldn't have been able to do it without Harry's support as well as my family back home who Fresh Start was about though. I'm honestly so surprised about this but thank you so much." She walked backstage. She walked back to the table and I kissed her. "You knew didn't you?" She asked me. "Yeah, they told me. I'm so proud of you gorgeous." I kissed her again before we had to go and finish the show. We finished and everyone started to leave. We walked out the back to the waiting cars and were surrounded by paps. "Maddie, you just won three Brits, how does it feel?" "Great thanks," she said getting into a car. Again we had to go in separate cars to the after party. We both arrived at around the same time but Maddie was told to go the other way to us. We all went in and I found Maddie. People kept coming to congratulate her. "Your performance was amazing," Adele told her. "Thank you so much. It means a lot from you, and I'm sorry for stealing your award." She said. Adele laughed. "It was rightfully yours Maddie. You deserve it. Plus you get to rub it in Harry's face that you got more Brits than him and you aren't even British!" She laughed. Maddie laughed with her and I left them to talk for a while. I spoke to some other people before Maddie came to find me so we could go home. We'd left Brooke with Isabelle so we needed to get back.

When we got back home Isabelle was still trying to put Brooklyn to sleep. “I think she wants her mummy and daddy.” She said handing her to me. “How did you do?” “I got three awards.” Maddie told her. “That’s amazing, well, have fun and I’ll see you at work!” “Thank you for looking after Brooke.” Maddie said before she left. “What should we do now?” Maddie turned to me. “Urm, I’ll put Brooke to bed and then I have an idea.” I smirked. “No. Not now and not until the baby is born.” Maddie told me. “No not that! Go and put your pjs on and come back down here. See you in a minute.” I walked up to Brooke’s nursery. We really need to start getting her to sleep in her bedroom now but I think we’re going to leave it until she’s 1. I put Brooke to sleep and she fell asleep almost instantly before I went into mine and Maddie’s bedroom. Maddie had just gotten changed. “Go downstairs, it’s a surprise.” I told her. She listened to me and went downstairs before I went into the wardrobe and pulled out my suitcase. I’d hidden something in there that I didn’t want Maddie to find without me. This Is Us, our movie. I found the box and put the suitcase back before going downstairs with the box behind my back. I went into the living room and put it into the DVD player before sitting down on the couch next to Maddie. I put my arm around her and she put her head on my chest. I looked down at her, now completely natural, how I love her most, with no makeup and in her pyjamas. The movie started to play and when SYCO came up Maddie turned to me. “What is this?” She asked. “Keep watching and you’ll find out, I didn’t want you to watch it without me.” I told her. She turned back to the screen and us talking was just coming on. “Is this you and the boys’ film?” Maddie questioned. “Yeah, now watch it and enjoy it babe.” I stroked her hair. She watched the film with me from start to finish. “What was your favourite bit?” I asked when it had finished. “When Liam pulled your trousers down.” She laughed. She had practically been wetting herself when she saw it. “Of course it was.” I said. “What made you want to show me?” She asked. “I don’t know. I just felt you needed to see it.” I told her. “I have something I want to show you then.” She ran upstairs and came back down holding a DVD case. She took This Is Us out of the player and put her disc in. It loaded and Brooke came onto the screen. “So, Maddie doesn’t know I’m doing this but I’m filming her photo-shoot today. I’m going to give this to her for her birthday so Maddie, if you’re watching this, I love you and Happy Birthday!” Brooke said before the camera turned to a young Maddie posing for photos. She was joking around with the photographers at the same time and it was obvious she was having fun. “Are you still like that?” I asked her. “No, that was before depression took its toll. Just watch the film babe.” She told me. I instantly felt bad for asking. Once the modelling part had finished it went onto something different. Our wedding to be precise. We were both looking into each other’s eyes and smiling, saying our vows. I looked at Maddie and she was smiling watching the film. Then it skipped to our reception and the speeches. That day was seriously the best day of my life. After the reception clip, it went onto some clips of Brooklyn, Maddie and I. “When did Brooke film all this?” I asked. “She’s sneaky, she sent this to me for my birthday.” “Well it’s really cute.” I said. “I know, I literally had no idea that she had filmed me modelling when I was 17.” She replied. “I’ve never seen you smile as much as you did in that modelling clip.” I told her. “Watch this clip then.” The next clip was when I got back from tour earlier then I was meant to. Maddie was actually just talking to her dad and then I came in. Her face lit up as she walked towards me. Her smile was massive and I can’t believe I didn’t notice when it actually happened. “I love you so much,” I kissed Maddie on the cheek. “I love you too.” She smiled. The disc finished and we just sat talking before going up to bed.

The Brit Awards

Hi guys! First of all, who's seen the Midnight Memories music video? Second, is it just me who doesn't really picture Maddie as Ashley Tisdale? I know I picked out that character for her but I kind of have a different picture of her in my mind, I don't really know how to describe it. Third, me and my best friend keep arguing over Larry and Elounor. I ship Elounor as you can probably tell from this story but she ships Larry. Tonight we were talking about it because I watched a Larry proof video and didn't seen any proof behind it at all and then I ranted about it. (I'm that kind of person...) She told me that if I didn't believe in Larry I shouldn't be in this fandom and it hurt a lot. I just don't know how to stop arguing with her over this and I literally adore her so I don't want to fall out with her over this. Now another one of my best friends is getting involved and making a joke out of it all and it really makes me feel bad. But I don't know why I'm ranting to you so I'm going to stop now.
